Chapter 34 Special Flavor

Chapter 34 Special Flavor

Lu Jiamu patted his sleeves, raised his head and smiled: "My memory is not bad."

Wang Biao asked: "How is it?"

"This place is too big. I can't stand high enough to see the whole picture. I can only see the surrounding area. I don't see any mechanism." Lu Jiamu looked at the boy walking in front, "Keep going forward, I'll show you the way. We don't know what's in here, we can only try it once."

Xuanxuan rubbed her arms, and the countless reflections of herself in the mirrors on all sides also rubbed their arms.

This mirror maze is just as the middle-aged man outside advertised. Not only does it cover a large area, but it also incorporates elements of a haunted house into its layout.

The light was dim and green, and their own faces in the mirror were pale and green. At first glance, they could not recognize that it was themselves.

The floor was dirty with bits of props scattered all over the place, and some mirrors were splashed with dark red paint. There was some random stuff hanging from the ceiling, which occasionally flickered.

I don’t know if it was intentional to create a terrifying atmosphere, but there seemed to be air currents blowing on the back of their necks.

The whole scene had a netherworldly flavor.

Xuanxuan looked around nervously, then reached out and pushed her boyfriend: "Hurry up."

The boy walking in the front walked into the maze with great enthusiasm and said, "Don't be afraid, Xuanxuan, I'm right in front of you."

Xuanxuan moved forward and held the boy's hand.

The two girlfriends also felt that the maze was eerie and linked their arms around each other.

The roads in the maze are very complicated and have many turns.

In addition, each mirror will reflect a scene, and countless mirrors are superimposed on each other at clever angles, making the already complicated passage even more layered.

The original visual space was infinitely replicated, making people dizzy and unable to even tell which road was the real one.

The boy walking in front walked very slowly and sighed, "No wonder the boss said that maintenance workers would get lost when they came in. Xuanxuan, follow me closely."

Lu Jiamu looked around and began to give directions to the boys.

After walking a few steps in the mirror maze, there will be a fork in the road. Some forks lead to dead ends, and once you enter, you have to exit first. Others will lead you back to the original fork in the road after twists and turns.

But the path Lu Jiamu pointed out was always the most correct, and he quickly led a group of people deeper into the maze.

The dim green light was replicated infinitely at different angles in the field of vision. The layers of space that were unable to distinguish true from false had caused the people in front to completely lose their way, and they even felt panic, anxiety and helplessness.

The couple walking in front of Lu Jiamu looked back at him curiously. The timid one asked in a low voice, "Little brother, how do you always know which way to go?"

If it happened just once or twice, one could say it was due to his amazing sixth sense, but if he always got it right, then he could no longer be explained by a simple sixth sense.

The more courageous girlfriend looked Lu Jiamu up and down without any concealment, and asked directly: "Are you a staff member here? Are you worried that we won't be able to leave after entering, which will delay too much time and affect the guests later? Are you a real NPC?"

"Come to think of it, you also encouraged us before we bought the tickets. Are you a hired agent of the store owner?"

Lu Jiamu adjusted his glasses and repeated with a smile: "My memory is pretty good."

Just by having someone lift him up for a moment when he came in, he was able to recognize the way. The two girls didn't believe it and felt that saying so was just a perfunctory lie.

Although Lu Jiamu did not admit it, the two girls already had their own ideas in their hearts.

They reached another fork in the road, and Lu Jiamu pointed to the boy in front to turn left.

But they hadn't walked far before the road ahead was blocked by a mirror.

They had reached a dead end and had no choice but to retreat and start over.

The couple in front turned around with a smile and said, "Little brother, it seems your memory is not that good."

Lu Jiamu gave a false smile, took out his pocket watch and looked at it, then said, "Trust me."

Wang Biao immediately understood and picked him up.

Lu Jiamu used the top of the mirror to push upwards. When he reached the top, he looked forward twice, then looked in the direction they came from, before coming down.

There was a hint of meaning in her smile: "The boss said there was a mechanism, and it turned out to be a mechanism. The position of the mirror has changed."

The girls in front were skeptical, wondering if this was just an excuse for him remembering the wrong way.

How could anyone remember all of these mirrors at a glance? And even if there really was a mechanism, when such a large mirror moves, there would always be noise, right?

So I just said, "You feel like you're cheating when you do this."

Lu Jiamu did not respond. After recalibrating the surrounding situation, he began to give directions again.

The boy walking in front did not look back. He walked quietly in the direction Lu Jiamu pointed, leaving only his back to the people behind him.

He suddenly asked quietly, "Xuanxuan, have you heard the story about overlapping mirrors?"

Xuanxuan looked at the back of his head, swallowed, and shook her head slightly: "Wha...what?"

"When two mirrors face each other, you can see into another world through their infinite extension." He chuckled, "...did you see it?"

Xuanxuan didn't see it, and suddenly felt very scared.

This is a mirror maze, with many mirrors facing each other, reflecting each other and extending to infinity.

Why did he suddenly say this?

The atmosphere in the maze suddenly froze and no one responded to his words.

There was no change in Lu Jiamu's expression, but his hand had already reached into his pocket and touched the small hammer.

The people behind him had also slowed down their pace because of this slight change, ready to take action immediately if anything went wrong.

The boy in the front suddenly turned around and laughed: "Haha, I was kidding! There is no such story at all. Are you scared?"

Xuanxuan was stunned, then pushed him in embarrassment and anger: "You are annoying!"

Lu Jiamu pulled his empty hands out of his pockets and said with a smile, "I'm scared, I'm scared."

The one who reacted most violently was Yu Leng who was walking behind. He looked like he wanted to hit the boy in front with something: "Are you mentally ill?"

The boy laughed very happily: "Hahahaha, you are so timid."

The brave girl began to condemn: "Do you think it's interesting to talk about this kind of thing in a place like this?"

The timid girl looked pale and uneasy, not knowing where to look. She didn't dare to look at the infinite distance formed by the overlapping of the two mirrors.

She suddenly let out a short scream: "Ah!"

Then he turned his head sharply, stared at a mirror next to him, stepped back in horror, and then bumped into the mirror behind him with a bang.

The painful sounds spread out in layers, like the discontinuous and layered spaces formed by countless mirrors reflecting each other in a maze.

The boy walking in front asked in confusion: "I told you, the story I just told was fake?"

"No... no!" The timid girl pointed in front of her in fear, "I just saw a red person!"

Several people looked at each other and found that none of them were wearing red clothes.

The boy walking in front scratched his head and said, "Did you see it wrong because you were nervous? I apologize. I shouldn't have scared you with the story just now."

"Impossible, impossible!" the girl screamed, "That figure is very big and conspicuous!"

The boy knocked on the mirror: "There's nothing."

Lu Jiamu asked: "Did you see it out of the corner of your eye?"

The girl seemed to have grasped a life-saving straw: "Yes, yes!"

Several people looked around vigilantly, either trying to detect whether there was any potential danger, or trying to find something red.

As soon as they shifted their gaze to look elsewhere, they suddenly heard the timid girl making a choking sound due to breathing difficulty.

Lu Jiamu turned his gaze back and saw a pair of small black and white hands stretched out from the mirror that the girl was leaning against.

The pair of small hands tightly strangled the girl's neck, causing her eyes to pop out in extreme pain. She scratched her neck frantically, trying to pry the pair of small hands apart.

But her hands just grabbed her neck again and again, and she didn't touch the little black and white hands at all.

...What is that? A pair of hands reaching out from the mirror?

The few people in front were stunned by this surreal scene.

She struggled violently, but was strangled so hard that she couldn't make a sound, and her neck couldn't leave the mirror. She could only look at others, desperate for survival.

Without thinking too much, Lu Jiamu immediately took out a hammer and started smashing the mirror.

The surface of the small black and white hand that emerged from the mirror also began to crack along with the mirror, but it did not let go.

Coleman also walked from the back to the front and began to hammer the mirror hard with his punches.

The bones in her hand were not broken, but the mirror she had hit with the hammer began to shatter.

With the combined efforts of the two, the mirror quickly broke into pieces, and the pair of small black and white hands retracted before strangling the girl.

The girl fell to the ground, holding her neck and coughing violently. Tears welled up in her eyes and she was coughing so hard that she couldn't speak.

The other girl was still a little confused and asked, "What was that just now? Did you... smash the boss's mirror?"

Yu Leng clapped his hands in a daze: "Sister, so cool."

"Maybe this is a trap designed by the boss. It's normal to be hit because it's too scary. This is a beating from society." Lu Jiamu responded calmly, and glanced at his pocket watch again, "You shouldn't have forgotten what the boss said, that from the fifth minute onwards, there will be real NPCs chasing players, right?"

"So... the red figure she just said she saw was a real NPC?" The braver girl couldn't believe it. "This design is too ridiculous?"

And the feeling of someone watching them in secret was too uncomfortable.

As soon as she finished speaking, before anyone could respond to her, there was a sound of bones breaking.

The girl who fell to the ground had her neck suddenly become abnormal and bent sharply to the side, as if something came out of nowhere and broke her neck with great force.

She looked at the mirror in front of her with horror, and made two "ho ho" sounds before gradually becoming silent.

The boy in front said, "Hey...don't scare us on purpose!"

Lu Jiamu immediately turned his head to look at the mirror she was looking at.

In the mirror, she just stared at herself with a look of pain on her face.

But the broken pieces of mirror on the ground showed that the pair of small black and white hands had not retracted at all and were still tightly grasping her neck.
