Chapter 58: Each with His Own Agenda
**
Deep in the palace ruins, there is a secret underground room.
The Shadow Fiend was standing before an ancient altar.
On the altar, several young children in deep comas were placed in special black boxes.
Around them, members of the organization were making preparations for the final "sacrifice".
"Here it comes... the breath of the perfect sacrifice..."
The Shadow Fiend's voice was filled with morbid fanaticism.
“The sacrifice begins!”
**
"Target below the main hall! Enter through the underground river! Divide into three groups and enter in sequence! The rest of you will remain outside to guard!"
With an order, alarms suddenly sounded everywhere!
"Report! Multiple security nodes within the ruins have been attacked by unknown entities! A large number of unidentified individuals have appeared!"
**
"Quick! The target is moving!"
The head of operations for the Kevis family stared intently at the tracking signal projected by the hologram.
"They're moving towards the main hall! That's the core area with the tightest security!"
A technician reported anxiously.
Annoyance flashed across Auston's face.
He had originally thought that he could take advantage of the chaos of the festival to steal the Amber Tears without anyone noticing, but he hadn't expected security to be tightened.
But now, the opportunity is right in front of me, and I can’t care less.
"Everyone, follow! The elite team, follow me in, the rest of you, speed up and spread out!"
“There is only one goal—
Retrieve the Star Amber Tears at all costs!"
The members of the Kevis family quickly dispersed and surrounded the central area like sharks smelling blood.
Star Amber Tears!
The sacred object that the Kevis family has coveted for thousands of years.
It contains infinite power, enough to change the fate of a family.

Underground river area.
The air here is filled with damp and dust.
An Zhi walked in the middle of the team.
The group passed through the broken archway and walked over the scattered stones.
Just as they were about to turn around a stone pillar, Gu Changfeng made a gesture, signaling the people behind him to stop.
He sensed movement ahead.
Behind the stone pillar, the faint light outlined a familiar figure.
The young man was tall and slender, half squatting on the ground, adjusting some equipment.
Trace the river.
How come he is here?
Suchuan obviously also noticed someone approaching.
He raised his head and looked over warily.
When he saw An Zhi in the crowd, his pupils constricted.
"It's you?!"
Suchuan blurted out, with obvious surprise in his voice, but then quickly lowered it.
Before Gu Changfeng could ask, he heard the sounds of dense footsteps and noisy voices from the surrounding passages.
"They are coming."
Suchuan's expression turned serious. He quickly put away the equipment in his hand and dodged to the other side of the stone pillar. At the same time, he whispered to Gu Changfeng:
"You have more than one enemy! The passages here are interconnected, and you'll be surrounded and killed by them soon!"
A dark shadow in the distance is gradually approaching.
Now is not the time to inquire about Suchuan's purpose.
"Take An Zhi and retreat to the left passage." Gu Changfeng said.
"No, the left is a dead end!"
Suchuan immediately stopped him, "Once we're stuck inside, it's all over! Follow me!"
After he finished speaking, he moved swiftly and rushed into the narrow crack in the side wall first.
Gu Changfeng and Gu Jinyan looked at each other.
Suchuan seemed to be very familiar with the terrain.
The gap is so narrow that only one person can barely pass through sideways.
The team dispersed, with some people guarding outside.
Behind the crack was a hidden narrow passage.
The passage was rugged and interconnected, and the noise behind me gradually faded away.
However, after running only a few dozen meters, An Zhi grabbed Gu Jinyan's collar:
"The little fish is in here, right here!"
"Tracing the river!" Gu Changfeng shouted in a deep voice, "Take us to the nearest passage! An Zhineng sensed that the kidnapped child is here!"
Upon hearing this, Suchuan turned around and looked at An Zhi.
The child's small body was shaking violently, as if he was in pain.
He gritted his teeth and said nothing more.
Suchuan quickened his pace and took Gu Changfeng and his group into another small road.
At the end of the passage, a heavy stone door suddenly appeared before one's eyes, with a faint scarlet light shining through the crack of the door.
“It’s right here!”
An Zhi pointed to the stone gate.
The troops immediately stepped forward and scored.
With a loud bang, the stone door was forcibly blown open, and a smell of decay and blood hit the face.
Behind the door is a huge underground space.
In the center stands an altar made of black rock, engraved with runes.
Several young children who were in a deep coma were placed in special black translucent boxes.
Around the altar, members of a criminal organization dressed in black cloaks were performing their final rites.
Hearing this loud noise, the "Shadow Demon" turned around suddenly:
"Perfect sacrifice! You're finally here!"
Hearing this, several tall teammates stepped forward and formed a human wall.
Without hesitation, they raised their energy guns and pointed them forward.
“Let them go!”
"We are waiting for you..."
His words were interrupted by the sound of hurried footsteps.
The wall on the other side of the underground space was blown open by someone.
The pursuers of the Kevis family arrived from the other end.
Auston saw three people with distinct features at a glance.
"Star Amber Tears is in their hands!"
"Let's all give way."
A flamboyant silver hair popped out from behind him, and the boy's face was full of disdain and arrogance.
The middle school-aged master of the Kevis family is here too.
He looked around and saw the plastic boxes in the center of the altar that looked so crudely made, and he couldn't help but take a step back.
"What kind of ugly black things are all placed here?!"
"Humph, it turns out that you mortals dare to break into a place like this."
The young master snorted coldly, not caring about the chaos before him.
The "Shadow Demon" shifted his gaze from Gu Changfeng to the suddenly appearing Kevis family, with a sinister look in his eyes.
Unexpectedly, in addition to the federal military, there were other forces breaking in.
But... this suits him just fine.
The "Shadow Demon" raised his head and pressed down hard.
"Today's feast is now far more than expected—"
"Wait a moment!"
The young master of the Kevis family stared at the back blocked by Gu Jinyan for a long time, and finally stopped at An Zhi...
"Surchuan!" The young master's voice was filled with excitement.
“So you’re here!
Humph, I thought you were hiding somewhere. Come here quickly and come back to this young master! "
He waved his hand to call his playmate back.
Suchuan's expression changed slightly, and he subconsciously took half a step back.
"Ignore those trash!"
Xuanta's cold and stern voice drowned out the noise of his young master.
He pointed in the direction of Gu Jinyan and An Zhi and gave orders to the members of the Kevis family around him.
"Bring over here the little girl in the middle!"
