Brother-sister love

Brother-sister love

Shuixi grabbed Fangzhou by the collar and walked towards Shanyou Fusu. The road was long, and passersby looked at the two of them sideways. Fangzhou felt humiliated, and when he was alone, he became furious and slapped Shuixi's hand away, looking at him with resentment.

A black cat suddenly appeared from nowhere and lay on her shoulder, becoming wary of Shuixi and ready to attack him at any time.

Shuixi first looked at the black cat, and then his gaze fell on Fang Zhou's face, who had angrily expressed his inner thoughts. He seemed to have become a little better-tempered, like an older, mature and generous brother coaxing his ignorant sister.

"Do you think it's right for you to do that?"

Fang Zhou hesitated to speak. From her brother's perspective, she was indeed wrong. She felt that this scene was very familiar, but she had no memory of her brother scolding her.

"Then why are you carrying me away? Don't I have any dignity?"

After hearing this, Shuixi tilted her head and smiled silently, then continued to coax her in a pleasant manner, "Then I apologize. I'm sorry. Now, can we go home? Miss, please."

Uh... With the other party's attitude, Fang Zhou really had no reason to continue making trouble. Is he really her brother? She didn't believe it, but she was too easily tempted by such treatment.

"Do you want some ice cream? I'll buy it for you and apologize to you." Shuixi followed behind Fang Zhou and suddenly spoke.

Fang Zhou turned back to look at him, and first spotted a roadside ice cream shop. Two posters for matcha ice cream stood outside the door, the vibrant green color just appealing to her. Fang Zhou felt like she had never tried anything like it before, and she was curious, but hesitated, asking, "Do you have money?"

She had no money in her pockets and even her bracelets and necklaces were lost.

Shuixi rubbed her head again, "Of course, I have a job." Then he went to buy two ice creams from the clerk, "Do you want one or two?"

Fang Zhou's attention was focused on the tip of the ice cream. He took only one and carefully took a bite. The ice cream was cool and refreshing, like a sudden break in the dull world, a refreshing breeze rushing in. Fang Zhou was very satisfied and shared this surprise with Shui Xi. Turning around, he saw Shui Xi feeding the other ice cream to He Yan.

"Can it eat this?"

Hean was licking happily.

"It's okay, doesn't it like it?"

"Its name is He'an. I didn't expect it to like you so much."

Shuixi smiled and said, "Yes, it's my honor to be liked by the kitten."

Fang Zhou mused, "It is my honor to meet you, brother."

Shuixi rubbed her head again and said lovingly, "Don't be so heavy-hearted. This is all my own wish. I don't need you to do anything in return. Just enjoy it. But you have to listen to your brother, okay?"

Fang Zhou looked embarrassed, thinking over and over again, hesitant, and was about to nod, but He Ai slammed the ice cream to the ground and made a harsh threatening cry.

This was a warning to her. Fang Zhou searched around cautiously for her target, but saw nothing. She had no choice but to appease He'an and lean over to pick up the ice cream on the ground. As soon as she bent her knees, Shui Xi pulled her up, "I'll do it."

Shuixi squatted on the ground to pick up the trash, then asked a passerby for a tissue and naturally knelt down to wipe the dirt off her shoes. This behavior attracted passersby to take pictures. Fang Zhou quickly raised her hand to cover her face, and Shuixi also stood up to protect her. After the person apologized and left, Shuixi took her hand and continued on his way home.

He really is a good person, Fang Zhou thought. Isn't it nice to live like this?

When Shuixi brought a bowl of black medicine to her, Fang Zhou changed her mind. She didn't like being forced. Shuixi stood before her, like a sullen Buddha, his eyes glaring at her coldly. He kept saying, "You must drink it. No discussion."

She took a bite and found it extremely bitter. Even someone like her who could endure hardship found it hard to swallow.

"What's wrong with me that I have to drink this medicine? I think I'm fine, brother, are you taking revenge on me?"

The black cat meowed in agreement.

"This is for your own good."

Fang Zhou wanted to escape, but Shui Xi blocked all her ways.

"Are you free to do?"

"Don't worry about it. Just take the medicine and go upstairs to rest. I still have a lot of things to do." Shui Xi glanced at the clock on the wall, her expression growing increasingly serious. The two of them had been in a stalemate for half an hour. She had even taken a short nap during that time.

"Leave it here, I'll drink it slowly myself," Fang Zhou pleaded. Holding He'an in his arms, hesitant between leaving and staying.

"I said, no room for negotiation."

His attitude was firm, as if he would immediately beat someone up if she didn't obey.

At this moment, a person walked into the room, with the light behind her. Fang Zhou was stunned for a few seconds, then suddenly remembered who she was. She quickly pushed He Ai into Shui Xi's arms and threw herself over, acting like a spoiled child in that person's arms, "Sister Ming Yan, my brother bullied me."

Shuixi and He'an were both stunned. Was she always like that? Shuixi kept stroking He'an's fur, unable to hide her inner nervousness.

Because Ming Yan is going to support her.

"Why did you bully her? How did you bully her?" Ming Yan stared at Shuixi's eyes, causing her to panic. He smiled ingratiatingly and pointed his finger, "How can you blame me for not taking her medicine?"

Ming Yan then saw a bowl of dark medicine on the table. The heat had almost dissipated, but the lingering aroma was full of bitterness. She couldn't help but cover her nose.

"What happened to my sister?"

"Physical defects, congenital deficiencies."

With just these words, Ming Yan sided with Shui Xi. "Are you afraid of the bitterness? How about I drink with you? Shui Xi, bring me another bowl."

Fang Zhou looked at her, feeling powerless. She couldn't bring herself to refuse. She missed the feeling of being close to someone.

A bowl of medicine was divided into two portions, one for Fang Zhou and one for Ming Yan. Shuixi sat on the side and waited quietly to see the joke.

"Let's drink together. Cheers." Ming Yan said.

The two spoons touched gently, making a crisp sound. Ming Yanxian took a quick sip of the liquid. As expected, it was unbearably bitter. Fang Zhou did the same, squeezing his eyes shut to endure the torment.

Shuixi smiled and leaned forward with her hands supporting her head. It was unknown whether he was hinting at it intentionally or Ming Yan was cunning by nature. He took advantage of Fang Zhou's inattention and handed the half spoonful of medicine to Shuixi's mouth.

Shuixi lightly refused, but Mingyan's glare forced him to speak, and with the spoon Mingyan handed him, he drank the rest of the medicine. He pursed his lips, trying to drown out the bitter taste with his saliva.

Fang Zhou finished a spoonful of medicine, her features wrinkled up. She opened her eyes and saw Ming Yan's expression was painful, but she had already finished the spoonful. She couldn't help but admire him, "Sister Ming Yan, you are so amazing."

"Why not drink it all at once?"

"You'll vomit if you do that." Shuixi explained.

"What medicine is so bitter?" Ming Yan drank a sip of warm boiled water and ate a small piece of sweet dessert.

"Good medicine tastes bitter, but it's very nourishing. You'd better drink less." Shuixi had taken the liberty of pouring more of Mingyan's medicine into Fangzhou, but luckily she didn't see it. After Shuixi had done her evil deed, she saw Mingyan's second spoonful of the overwhelming pain being fed to him.

Helpless, Shuixi had to drink it.

"You seem to be enjoying it!" Ming Yan wondered if Shuixi's sense of taste was a little dull. Such a bitter thing only gave him a slight pretense of reaction?

Shuixi nearly choked, coughing as he reached for the spoon from Mingyan's hand. He thought Mingyan was blaming him for waiting to be fed.

Ming Yan pulled back the hand holding the spoon. "No, I mean you don't feel bitter at all, right?"

"Ah?" Shuixi was stunned. Wasn't he pretending?

"Do you have any flaws? Shuixi, I've never seen you eat or drink. Are you going to break the rules today for your sister?"

"I'm sorry, boss." Shuixi stood up and bowed his head to apologize.

Ming Yan glanced at Fang Zhou quickly, quickly pulled Shui Xi over to sit down, roughly poured a spoonful of medicine into his mouth, and made the same painful expression to Fang Zhou who had just opened his eyes.

"With someone by my side, I will feel happy even if it is so hard." Fang Zhou frowned bitterly while enjoying the happiness she was talking about.

Ming Yan felt bad and scooped another spoonful of the medicine, ready to drink it himself this time. Shui Xi stood by, ready for Ming Yan to give up halfway and feed the medicine into his own mouth.

It was still bitter. Ming Yan swallowed a whole spoonful and broke down in tears. Shui Xi calmly fed her water and a candy bar, intending to drink the rest of the medicine herself.

Fang Zhou stopped him, "I'll drink it, brother. This is the medicine you gave me."

She silently swallowed the whole bowl of bitterness, spoonful by spoonful, nearly fifty times.

Did she remember something? Shuixi, who was washing dishes in the kitchen, kept recalling the scene just now, wondering what she was thinking at that time, why she was silent? Why did she resist the extremely bitter medicine at first, but then kept swallowing it again and again?

He stood there, watching the sun descend from the treetops to the trunks, and then disappear completely. During this time, Fang Zhou upstairs vomited a total of five times. He Ai surprisingly did not bother him.

A tile fell from the eaves outside the window. Shuixi looked out and saw a figure among the mottled shadows of the trees.

"You finally agreed to see me." Shuixi was looking for a rag to wipe his hands, but after scanning around and failing to find one, he wiped them on his apron. Then he heard the person on the roof say, "I don't want to see you."

Shuixi stopped turning around and opened the window a little wider so that he could see the shadow more clearly.

"With that medicine today, are you taking revenge on her?"

Shuixi smiled lightly, "Yes."

The wind rustled the leaves of the sycamore trees. The gray-blue sky seemed poised to plunge everything into darkness, but now it was just a warning. Shuixi always felt ill at ease at this moment. Today, because of kindness, he felt happy for the first time.

"I remember everything."

A story from that distant time. The beginning of Shuixi, the beginning of He'en. The beginning of Yunsheng Palace. And the beginning of her and the young master.

The young master was seriously ill after being caught in the rain, and Lu Zangyue made him this very bitter medicine.

"I remember it too." A kind and light voice came over, and Shuixi felt heavy in his heart.

If only I could stay in that era forever.

"Do you regret it?" He asked again kindly.

"Ah, I regret it so much." Shuixi found that her tone was also light and flirtatious. The infinite sadness was simply not relieved.

"Then give up Hui Zifeng and live with us. There are only three of us left."

Shuixi chuckled, "There's no turning back for me."

He closed the window.
