Chapter 18 "You look quite energetic..."
When Chi Chen woke up, he glanced at the time and it was already ten o'clock.
He felt something was wrong with his body; the tightness made him feel hot all over.
Chi Chen lowered his head and saw the fluffy hair on the top of his head nestled in his arms. It seemed as if there was only a thin layer of fabric between them.
The other person had somehow crawled into his bed, burying their head deep in his shoulder, with one arm draped over his waist and their knees wrapped around his legs.

They were each in their own beds last night.
When Chi Chen came to his senses, he could only see Xu Yan's eyelashes and nose from this angle. Her face was pink, and it seemed that everything below her was pressed against him, making her look rather round and cute.

But he quickly remembered that Xu Yan had mentioned going to the hospital today, and they had both tacitly agreed not to set alarms.

So, Xu Yan only thought about it briefly before getting up smoothly. He straightened his robe and said lightly, "Serving your sugar daddy to sleep is your job."
Chi Chen looked at Xu Yan's back; her slender, straight shoulders and neck were so white they were dazzling, making one want to take a bite.
He suddenly raised his hand, placed his arm on Xu Yan's waist, and pulled her back into his arms.
"Ugh!" Xu Yan was caught off guard and was pushed down. The bed was very soft, and he did not feel any pain. The sudden feeling of weightlessness made his heart tighten involuntarily.

"Good morning kiss, sugar daddy." Chi Chen winked mischievously. "Isn't this just part of my job as a kept woman?"
Xu Yan was stunned, a wave of heat spreading across his face. He calmed down and smiled, "Not bad."

Even though her lips were still a little swollen and her face was flushed, Xu Yan said with a hint of mockery, "You haven't had a physical exam yet."
After saying that, he left the bedroom on his own.
Chi Chen was left alone to calm down.
After flirting and running away, Chi Chen took longer than expected to calm himself down.
He felt that if he did it a few more times, he might get too pent up.

At the end of the road was a small, unassuming restaurant, already packed with people, brimming with the lively atmosphere of a local eatery.
Chi Chen had never been to a shop like this before, but he wasn't so resistant to the aroma.
"Aren't we going to the hospital?" Chi Chen asked again.
Xu Yan walked towards the counter. "The hospital is closed for lunch now. I can go for my physical exam at 2 PM after I finish eating."
After he finished speaking, he skillfully ordered a few dishes and then lined up on the chairs outside.
After sitting for half an hour, they finally got seats outside the shop, where the midday sun was shining warmly.
However, the table and chairs were too small, and Chi Chen couldn't even stretch his legs out properly, so his posture wasn't very elegant.
Before Chi Chen could complain, several dishes steaming with hot oil and emitting a rich aroma were served.
The bright red color, sprinkled with fresh chopped scallions, looks very appetizing, but it's also quite spicy.
