I figured how much they could plant depended on their own luck, so I stopped worrying about it.
That day, a few people prepared to roast some melon seeds to eat.
In just a few days, all the sunflower seeds I had collected in the space were shelled. I've collected quite a few melon seeds.
Yesterday, the Wang family sent over two large scumbags. Each one weighed at least seven or eight pounds.
The four of them braised a whole fish last night. Today, they asked the Wang family to come over and roast all the melon seeds for her.
Feng Ran could have done these chores herself, but I thought better of it. I've been quite tired these past few days. Besides, Aunt Wang's frying would probably taste better. She used to fry her own melon seeds and peanuts for Chinese New Year.

To Feng Ran's surprise, this auntie knew how to cook several different flavors. Salt and pepper, caramel, neutral... basically, she could use any flavor she wanted, as long as she had the ingredients.
In the end, Fengran asked her to make two kinds: plain and salt and pepper. She didn't want the others. Besides, her favorite was the plain one.
Before the three of them left, Feng Ran gave them a large bag of radishes and cabbages, as well as two pounds of roasted melon seeds.
Wang Lili didn't dare to jump up happily until she got home.
