"good."

...
The last fishing trip was amazing! We hauled in several nets full of king crabs, giant lobsters, swimming crabs, blue crabs, snow crabs, snow crabs… all sorts of colors. We even ruined two nets!
Qi Xie gathered the items, while Feng Ran happily helped pick them up.
The group worked together very well.
"Wow, there are so many! Let's fish all around the island tomorrow. Then we can eat a feast every day when we get back!"
After hauling in the last net, everyone called it a day.
Fearing there might be people on the island, the group decided to walk there.
The island doesn't look very big from a distance, but once you get there, it feels quite large.
It's about the size of a university.
All I could see were withered branches.
There wasn't a trace of green.
We just entered the island after walking past the beach.
It was all dead and rotting vegetation. Some had fallen off, and some were still rooted in the soil, but they were dead.
"It's so quiet."
"……really."
"There can't be no living creatures at all, can there?"
"If there really isn't any, then we're lucky." Qi Xie sensed for a while, and the silence was somewhat eerie.
The group found an open space and prepared to start a fire and set up camp.
There wasn't much to brace. I just tied three long planks together and covered them with a tattered sheet.
They dug two more large pits, filled them with firewood, and started a fire.
It was too cold. Unable to resist, everyone started inserting planks around the fire to create a makeshift roof. Then they laid down a waterproof tarpaulin, sealing it completely.
We're going to take turns keeping watch during the night, one half and one half.
Four men, working in two shifts.
Everyone was happily cooking seafood when suddenly they were attacked!
"call out--"
"Bang!"
