Huo Ye's brow twitched.
Provocation didn't work on him.
"Assistant Han, turn around and head to the liveliest bar nearby."
"Yes, President."
Yun Lian smiled instantly.
"Huo Ye, you're so good to me. I swear, from today onwards, you'll be my most beloved son."
Huo Ye turned his head to the other side.
I felt a surge of energy surging within me, but I couldn't figure out where it came from.
They arrived at the bar quickly, and Huo Ye ordered a booth.
When Yun Lian returned from the restroom, she was surprised to find him still there.
"Just drop me off. Don't worry, it's so lively here, I'll definitely be fine."
Huo Ye sat down in the corner.
"Just pretend I don't exist, have fun, and call me when you're done. I'm going to take a nap."
Sleeping in a bar?
Yun Lian didn't understand, but expressed her respect.
As Yun Lian waved, several handsome young men quickly entered.
"What kind of wine would you like, beautiful lady? Would you like me to recommend one?"
"Sister, would you like some snacks?"
The bar was filled with people calling her "sister," which only gave Yun Lian a headache. It seemed like all she could do at the bar was order alcohol, which was very boring, and no one was there to drink with her.
Just as Yun Lian was about to call Huo Ye home, she was suddenly stopped by someone in the booth next to her.
As Yun Lian passed by, she noticed that their place was very lively, with a group of people singing, chatting, and drinking together.
"What's up?"
"Have you broken up with your boyfriend? Drinking alone will only make you feel worse. Why don't you come and hang out with us? It'll be much more fun when we're together."
Yun Lian saw that their table was almost full of empty bottles, and waved her hand dismissively.
"Why don't you come over here? I haven't touched the wine on my table much. If you want to make me happy today, I'll treat you to drinks."
