The current plot point is that Yun Lian is imprisoned, and her younger sister Yun Xi ascends to the position of Crown Princess.
Yun Lian and the Emperor suffered varying degrees of harm. The Empress fell critically ill, and Yun Xi gained power. He was decisive and efficient outside the palace, and tormented Yun Lian every day inside the palace.
Yun Lian later died from being pierced by a thousand arrows while being led out by the imperial physician. As a general, she was deeply loved by the people.
The people witnessed her death and rose up in rebellion.
When the Empress learned of Yun Lian's death, her hair turned white overnight, and she died soon after.
Yunxi desperately needed people, and Yunlian's consorts were all outstanding individuals. Upon learning of Yunlian's death, they all committed suicide for love.
Under the manipulation of those with ulterior motives, the entire Yun Kingdom was destroyed after only two years of resistance.
003's voice was filled with sorrow.

She spoke softly and slowly, as if afraid of disturbing something.
Yun Lian threw her to the ground.
"Isn't that obvious? Besides me, who else knows that you're most afraid of having your hand touched when you're holding a sword?"
Upon hearing her words, Qingzhu burst into tears and rushed over to hug Yunlian's legs tightly.
Where was her former imposing demeanor now? Like a lost child who had finally found her family, she could finally break down in relief.
"Why did you take so long to come back? Do you know what I've been through all these years? Your Highness, sob sob sob, how much suffering you've endured out there?"
Yun Lian was taken aback by her sudden action.
Where is that cold-faced general from earlier?
How did you suddenly turn into a whiny whiner?
Yun Lian tried to pull her legs out of her arms, but she couldn't budge them an inch.
"Why don't you let me go first? Let Yunxi come see me."
Qingzhu regained her senses, hastily wiped away her tears, and stood up to respectfully bow to Chao Yunlian.
"Qingzhu warmly welcomes Your Highness the Crown Princess! Welcome home, Your Highness!"
Her voice was so mournful that it gave Yun Lian the feeling of being dead and then resurrected.
"Stop with all this fluff."
Yun Lian tried to pull her legs out of her arms, but she couldn't budge them an inch.
"Why don't you let me go first? Let Yunxi come see me."
Qingzhu regained her senses, hastily wiped away her tears, and stood up to respectfully bow to Chao Yunlian.
