Huo Ye stared at Yun Lian's hospital gown. The small part of her tight and smooth waist that was exposed by the gown was almost blindingly white.
Huo Ye was extremely conflicted, a stark contrast to his decisive and ruthless demeanor when signing the contract.
The towel in my hand seemed to be extremely hot, burning my palms.
Huo Ye closed his eyes, steeled his heart, lifted the corner of Yun Lian's clothes, and reached under her clothes to wipe her.

"But if you hadn't accompanied me to the amusement park, you wouldn't have met someone in need of rescue, nor would you..."
Huo Xi lowered his head, his curly chestnut hair swaying with his movements, like a big furry puppy.
If the IV drip hadn't affected her performance, she would have wanted to rub it.
"If it's because of the amusement park, then I'm glad I went with you today. If it wasn't because we were going to the amusement park, then I wouldn't have been able to save a life.
She's at the prime of her life, how could I bear to let her wither away?

Huo Xi looked up, bewildered.
So he didn't do anything wrong?

"Then you can go in whenever you want. I'm going to buy food for my stepmother."
