Shen Wuyang held Chu Ruofu's hand tightly. It was the first time he had held the hand of the girl he loved, and he longed to hold her hand forever and never let go.
Seeing Shen Wuyang's vulnerable and dependent expression, Chu Ruofu could only let him hold her hand, as if he were comforting a sick puppy.
Shen Wuyang's clingy manner is just like the puppy she raised in the countryside. When she comes home from school, it runs over to her feet, wanting a hug and a pat.

Chu Ruofu's face flushed as she recalled her passionate kiss with Lu Xubai in the bathroom last night, feeling as if an electric current was running down her spine.
Fortunately, there were no cameras in the bathroom. The thought of viewers seeing her go limp from Lu Xubai's kiss and the entire internet broadcasting it live made her so shy that she wanted to hide somewhere.
Chu Ruofu omitted the scene where Lu Xubai applied medicine and dried her hair. Even though it was their first meeting, the two did things that couples in love do.
"Yes." She didn't like to lie, so she told the truth: "Lu Xubai and I chatted for a while at the pool."
Upon hearing her reply, Shen Wuyang thought coldly to himself, "Sure enough, a pair of guests going to the presidential suite couldn't possibly be staying in separate rooms."
"What did you talk about?" he asked casually. "Did he mention the lawsuit to you?"
If Lu Xubai and Chu Ruofu were to talk about the lawsuit, she definitely wouldn't be interested. Lu Xubai also didn't seem like a good conversationalist. Shen Wuyang sincerely hoped that after spending the night together, Chu Ruofu would finally give in to Lu Xubai.
Chu Ruofu recalled their conversation in the pool. She was wearing a cool swimsuit and drinking red wine with Lu Xubai, enjoying the night view. He kept asking her how she felt about him.

Lu Xubai glanced in the direction she came from. At the end of the corridor was Gu Junsheng and Shen Wuyang's room. Why would she come from that direction?
"What are you doing on the third floor?" he asked in a cold, hard voice.
When Chu Ruofu was asked this question, she had a strange feeling of having an affair behind her husband's back. She was flustered and confused. She was not good at lying, so she replied, "Shen Wuyang had a stomachache. I was just taking care of him."
Upon hearing Shen Wuyang's name, Lu Xubai's deep blue eyes grew even colder, revealing a chilling aura.
"He's an adult, can't he take medicine for a stomachache?" he said sarcastically. "A stomachache shouldn't make him so weak that he needs someone to take care of him."
Hearing his sarcastic tone, Chu Ruofu felt conflicted and retorted, "Don't you know how painful a stomachache is?!"
When Lu Xubai saw her speaking up for Shen Wuyang, his handsome face grew even colder, and he said indifferently, "It won't kill him. Even if he faints from the pain, the staff will handle it. You don't need to take care of him."
That's true. The staff will keep a close eye on the guests' condition and will respond promptly if any problems arise.
But Shen Wuyang was a guest on the same show, and she couldn't just watch someone she knew get sick and do nothing about it.

"What is our relationship now?" he asked.
Chu Ruofu sat in the chair, looking up at him. What kind of relationship could they possibly have?
Lu Xubai's handsome face was so dark it could drip water, and his voice was icy: "So you're planning to kiss me and then not take responsibility?"
Chu Ruofu's face turned bright red. The show was being broadcast live. What was he saying? What did he mean by "kissing and then not taking responsibility"? He was the one who kissed her first.
"You started it..."
Lu Xubai leaned over and braced himself on the table behind her, completely enveloping her in his arms. He looked down at her and said, "You didn't refuse."
