There were severe floods and droughts for fifty years.
The immortal came to the East China Sea and invited all the dragons to come out of the mountains and enter the Nine Provinces to become water gods.
Du Shi was finally able to take a rest after being busy for several years. In addition, the "one palace and two gates" were handed over to the Shangqing Palace, so the Leiyin Buddhist Sect no longer needed to rule the world and ushered in a hundred years of leisure.
He sat alone in front of the ancient Buddha, emerging from under a lotus body.
The monks of the Great Thunder Sound Buddhist Sect all admired and worshipped him when they saw this, saying that Master Du Shi was already a real Buddha in the world. At least in the past ten thousand years, few people have been able to reach the level of Du Shi.
Ever since he obtained the Lin character spell, Du Shi felt that his own cultivation was advancing by leaps and bounds. In just 50 years, he had advanced from the middle stage of the Spiritualization Stage to the late stage of the Spiritualization Stage. Such a speed seemed like a dream.
Buddhism is like spiritual cultivation. Things that were previously incomprehensible and intangible gradually become clearer, and the magical powers and spells become more and more proficient in use.
This made Du Shi feel that he was close to becoming a Buddha, at least that was what he thought two years ago. He would soon be able to catch up with the immortals, or even surpass them, with the Lin character spell.
To "Lin" means to understand the location of heaven and earth, to comprehend the origin of all things, and the meaning of the three talents.
All the laws that appear between heaven and earth can be understood.
This is one of the reasons why Du Shi feels that he can surpass the immortals, because he can also learn all the methods through the Lin character formula, and can also comprehend more than 3,000 magical powers. Gathering the methods of all the strong people since ancient times, he can fight against the immortals.
Even just thinking about it made him feel a little excited.
But one night two years ago, his cultivation and understanding of Buddhism got stuck, as if an invisible prison had enveloped him, blinding his eyes and blocking his way forward, so that he could only look at the road further away.
The candlelight illuminates and the shadows form three Buddhas.
Du Shi slowly opened his eyes, and the same emotions as his own but with three extremely evil thoughts poured into his ears, as if to make him fall into the path of evil.
"Savior, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Countless saints in ancient times knelt before the heavens and the earth, but still could not obtain the fruition of great wisdom. I have a poison here, which is colorless and tasteless and blocks the secrets of heaven. One drop can kill a saint and seriously injure the Saint King."
The voice of Greedy Buddha carried endless temptation, as if the opportunity to attain enlightenment was right before one's eyes, and one could become a Buddha instantly by just nodding.
Du Shi was unmoved, instead he asked, "I have never learned poison, how can there be rootless water in the world? You are not me."
The three people in front of him said that they were themselves, and they knew all of their abilities, and also some things that they didn't. These methods were not made up, and they were almost all true after Du Shi learned a few to verify.
In this case, it is naturally not one's own inner demon, and it is even less likely to be oneself.
"I am naturally you, a ray of true spirit that you have integrated into the Zhou Tian."
"Who are you?"
"I am a Taoist priest, but I am not learning Buddhism, but magic."
"What demon?"
"The Great Saintless Law was born in the turbid air when the world was first created. It is called the Turbid World. It appears every three hundred years and devours all living things in the world. It eats dragons and phoenixes and drinks the spirits of heaven. The Great Saintless King of the Turbid World."
There is an endless amount of vicissitudes in the slow voice of Tan Buddha, which is the ancient Taoist rhyme from the ancient times.
He is a savior of the world, and also a great sage king in this troubled times.
Du Shi asked, "How does it compare to the immortals?"
This made Greedy Buddha silent for a while. He recalled that the last time the Immortal used all his strength was when he pacified the Demon Abyss. At that time, he already had the demeanor of a Saint King. Now he is probably only stronger.
Let's count him as the first Saint King to ascend the throne, weaker than the Great Saint King of the Turbid Ages during his peak period.
He replied: "In this turbid world, there is no Saint King who can surpass him. If you learn all of them and practice diligently for a hundred years, you will be able to compete with him."
Du Shi shook his head and said, "Not enough, now I have been an immortal for four thousand years."
Then he turned to look at the angry Buddha and asked, "What Dharma are you learning?"
The angry Buddha's voice was like a bronze bell, and he roared with endless anger: "The winning method of fighting is learned from the Fighting Saint King. He has a force of one million kilograms and can split the sky with one punch."
"How about with the Immortal?"
"Even better, the immortal's thunder method cannot break the fighting saint body."
Du Shi shook his head again. Immortals have more than just thunder magic.
He looked at the foolish Buddha again and asked, "What method are you learning?"
The obsession in the Buddha's eyes burned like fire, and he said, "The way of the inner demon is learned from the Mara Saint King. The immortal once said that he had many regrets in his life, so he must not be able to escape the way of the inner demon."
The three true spirits each have their own magical powers, and Du Shi has seen their abilities. If the three of them were combined, with the Great Saintless Law as their merit, the Fighting and Victory Law as their body, and the Heart Demon as their soul, then perhaps they could really compete with the immortals.
Du Shi often went to ask the immortal for advice, and was often tortured into confessing by him. So he had a vague idea of the immortal's strength, and after a slight comparison, he thought he had a chance of winning.
"Better than immortals, achieve true Buddhahood..."
This is an opportunity that many people in the immortal era could only dream of, to be able to compete with the immortals.
Over the years, Du Shi has been thinking that the Lin character formula has broadened his horizons and made him see too many temptations. The three people in front of him were caused by his greed, and it was also the first step for him to overstep his boundaries.
The three Buddhas of greed, anger and ignorance were connected with Dushi's mind, and they moved closer and said, "To save the world, you must also save yourself. You have worked hard for others all your life, why don't you do it for yourself today?"
The Buddha is a great saint who has achieved the perfection of self-awareness, awareness of others, and awareness and practice, and who truly knows and sees the nature of all dharmas and has attained the same enlightenment.
He has not yet attained Buddhahood, so he has greed, anger, and ignorance, so he is jealous and afraid of the abilities of immortals, so he is also greedy for the laws of heaven and earth. This is human nature, and even immortals cannot completely abandon this emotion.
Doing things for oneself is human nature.
"Amitabha, as a monk, I should strive for something. Strive with people, with the heavens, and with the immortals."
