There was a hint of trembling in Zhao Yunzhu's voice, but she still patiently comforted Miss Lin.
"Old man, what's going on?"
Prince An shouted towards the room. The situation in the room was now known only to Doctor Li.
"I'm afraid my memory will be restored!"
Doctor Li had already walked to the door of the room. He pushed it open and saw a group of people gathered at the door. He frowned.
He looked at Prince An and replied.
"Okay. Let's go in and take a look."
Prince An brought Zhao Yunzhu into the house.
Lin Yaoniang was about to follow when she was stopped by Aunt Hua, "Miss Lin, you should wait outside for a while. We can't help much if we go in, and we will just cause more trouble."
"But……"
Lin Yaoniang's heart flew into the house, and she looked inside from time to time.
"Ms. Lin."
Nanny Hua's tone was a little serious. Lin Yaoniang had never seen Nanny Hua speak to her like this before.
He avoided looking at her and finally gave up.
Zhao Yunzhu followed Prince An into the house.
I saw Du Ming'an curled up into a ball with a look of extreme pain on his face.
Zhao Yunzhu felt as if her heart was being tugged at by someone.
She was about to go forward to check, but her hand was held tightly. She turned around and met Qin Zongzhi's complicated eyes.
"Don't be afraid. This is something he has to face and bear on his own. We can't help him."
Zhao Yunzhu lowered her eyes, feeling a dull pain in her heart.
Prince An's words make sense. The only thing we can do now is to wait.
Doctor Li had no solution either.
At dawn.
Du Ming'an struggled in pain all night before falling into a deep sleep.
After a night of tossing and turning, everyone was sleepy.
Zhao Yunzhu's eyelids were twitching.
"Go back and get some sleep first, and tell someone to keep watch."
Prince An said with concern.
Zhao Yunzhu knew that she really couldn't hold on any longer, so she nodded and followed Prince An out of the room.
"Miss Du, how is Brother Du?"
When Lin Yaoniang saw the two of them coming out, she hurried forward and asked nervously.
"Miss Lin, my brother has been tossing and turning all night and has just gone to bed. You should go back and rest first. We can talk about everything after he wakes up, okay?" There was a hint of weakness in Zhao Yunzhu's voice.
"Linglong, please stay with Doctor Li and stay by your brother's side."
Zhao Yunzhu went back to rest after making all the arrangements.
Lin Yaoniang originally wanted to stay, but seeing that Zhao Yunzhu's eyes were dark, she felt embarrassed to cause her any more trouble.
So I went back and rested for a while.
The yard finally returned to silence.
Even though Zhao Yunzhu was worried about Du Mingan, she was so sleepy that she fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.
She slept until the afternoon. When she opened her eyes, she saw Prince An supporting his head with one hand, his eyes fixed on her, as if he was afraid that she would disappear if he was not careful.
"Awake? I'll have someone bring you some food."
Zhao Yunzhu shook her head and stretched her waist. "I'm not hungry yet. What about Master Du? How is he now?"
"He hasn't woken up yet. The old man said there's no rush."
"Um."
Zhao Yunzhu got up and went to Du Ming'an's house with Qin Zongzhi.
Seeing the young man on the bed with his eyes closed, Zhao Yunzhu's heartbeat inexplicably accelerated.
I don't know if he has recovered his memory.
Qin Zongzhi held Zhao Yunzhu's hand tightly.
Du Mingan lying on the bed suddenly opened his eyes, his expression changed from hesitation, confusion to surprise.
He stood up, his eyes filled with unconcealable joy, "Yunzhu, Yunzhu, I'm not dreaming, am I? Why are you here?"
Du Ming'an lifted the quilt, walked barefoot onto the ground, strode forward, and asked in surprise.
But seeing that Zhao Yunzhu's face was a little stiff, he looked around suspiciously, and then he noticed that Zhao Yunzhu's hand was held by Qin Zongzhi.
Suddenly, he became furious and pushed Qin Zongzhi forward, saying angrily, "Qin Zongzhi, what do you mean! I knew from the beginning that you had serious feelings for Yunzhu, and now you're bullying me while I'm away!"
Du Ming'an shouted outside, "Someone, kick the Ninth Prince out!"
After he finished speaking, he pulled Zhao Yunzhu behind him, "Yunzhu, don't be afraid. I'm back. I will protect you! You are my wife!"
But he found that Zhao Yunzhu did not move.
His eyes darkened and he looked at her suspiciously.
He glanced inside the house again—
Du Mingan seemed to remember something. He was clearly on the battlefield, but why was he here now?
He let go of Zhao Yunzhu's hand and fell into chaos and confusion.
He remembered that he led his men to ambush the enemy commander, but he eventually fell off his horse and slipped off a cliff.
What happened later?
"Brother Du——"
Lin Yaoniang heard the noise in the house, knew he had woken up, and rushed to check.
She trotted into the room, took Du Ming'an's arm, raised her head and smiled sweetly.
Du Ming'an looked at the girl in front of him, and his memories after losing his memory gradually emerged before his eyes.
When he recognized Lin Yaoniang, he recalled the scene when Zhao Yunzhu came to pick him up.
He was filled with grief. He raised his hand and let go of Lin Yaoniang's hand. The joy in his eyes was gone. Instead, he looked a little cold and distant. "I'm sorry, Miss Lin. I'm already married."
Lin Yaoniang looked at the face in front of her that was so familiar, but now it seemed so strange that it suffocated her.
She was trembling, looking at Du Mingan in disbelief, refusing to believe it all, "Brother Du, it's me, I'm Yao Niang!"
"Miss Lin, please go out first. I'll talk to you later, okay?"
Lin Yaoniang couldn't help but shed tears.
She raised her hand to wipe away the tears from her face, bit her lip and ran out.
