Chapter 31 Their First Kiss "Yan Ceyan, do you like me?"...

Yu Liang disappeared.

They disappeared without a trace.

The silly boy who was excitedly shouting "See you tomorrow!" yesterday, surprisingly didn't show up in the window frame or hallway today.

"Damn, why isn't that gay guy here today?"

"Damn, I'm not used to him not coming."

"Me too, I feel like something's missing today..."

"Uh... wait a minute, bro, you better be joking. Otherwise I'll start to suspect you're gay too..."

"Someone understand me? I brought rotten eggs with me today, just waiting to throw them on that bitch's head..."

"You'd better watch yourself. Brother Yan doesn't allow littering in the classroom. Are you out of your mind?"

"What are you afraid of? Brother Yan didn't come to school today, did he?"

"Hey, why didn't Brother Yan come to school again today?"

"Who knew... Yama, the King of Hell, has been skipping class for quite some time now. Yu Liang was just unlucky to run into him the other day."

"Speaking of which, Brother Yan looked really angry yesterday, his face was so dark... I didn't dare to breathe too much."

The classroom was filled with chatter, and Yan Quan, who was pretending to doze off at her desk, was so disturbed by the noise that her ears were ringing...

Yu Liang didn't come...isn't that a good thing? Yan Quan felt nothing. In fact, if Yu Liang never came again, it would save Yan Quan a lot of trouble.

As for Yan Ceyan… doesn’t he often not come? Yan Quan slightly raised her eyelids, her gaze slowly falling on the empty seat next to her.

The huge desk was wiped spotless, so clean it looked like it had just been moved from a factory. There wasn't a trace of human life about it.

It's like being deskmates with a ghost... Yan Quan sighed silently to the air.

The same old schedule, doing almost identical homework after class, eating the same piles of protein and carbohydrates...

If we ignore the only slightly unusual detail—the disappearance of both Yan Ceyan and Yu Liang—today can be considered a rather boring and unremarkable day.

So when Yan Quan's phone suddenly received a message from Yan Ceyan, Yan Quan's expression was quite surprised.

The WeChat chat window displayed a map location link, with the destination being an abandoned old teaching building.

The message that followed was brief and to the point.

Y: Come here.

...? Yan Quan raised an eyebrow in confusion, her finger hovering over the phone screen for a few seconds.

For a moment, she didn't know whether to be surprised that Yan Ceyan already had her WeChat account, or wondering why Yan Ceyan had waited until now to chat with her. The first message was a threatening text message that sounded like a kidnapper's threat to kill her.

Strange as it was, Yan Quan still packed his schoolbag neatly and, using the map, walked to the secluded, sparsely populated old school building.

Wow, you can hardly imagine. Nanzhong, which is known for its wealth, extravagance, and high society, actually has such a desolate place.

Despite being called an "abandoned school building," this old building is more like a two-story temporary rest house erected by a construction team. The huge cement floor is empty and covered with a thick layer of dust because it has not been cleaned for years.

As Yan Quan climbed the narrow steps, dust and debris swirled and billowed, making it difficult for him to breathe.

"Yan Ceyan," Yan Quan called softly as he walked uphill, covering his nose with his hand, "Where are you?"

"Creak—" Just as I stepped onto the second floor, the door of the first dormitory room near the corner of the stairs was pushed open a crack by the wind.

"Ugh...cough...woo woo..." A faint, indistinct sobbing sound drifted in through the crack in the door, and Yan Quan's ears twitched instantly.

Is that... the sound of someone begging for mercy?

"Tap tap..." Yan Quan quickened his pace instantly, grabbed the leftmost dormitory doorknob, and pushed it in forcefully.

What happened next... completely shattered Yan Quan's mind. At that moment, Yan Quan could hardly believe his eyes—

Yu Liang's hands were bound behind his back with thick hemp rope. A rope was suspended from the ceiling fan, pulling the three legs of the chair into the air, while the other leg was barely half-supported on the floor.

To maintain his balance, Yu Liang could only grip the floor tightly with his toes. He struggled and trembled violently.

To be fair, compared to being stabbed or shot, this isn't that much more physically harmful. The main point is that it would look very awkward for a normal person to maintain this posture.

This is a measure that is far more humiliating than harmful, and is commonly used in the federal army to discipline deserters.

"..." Yan Ceyan stood next to Yu Liang, twirling a gleaming Swiss Army knife between his fingers. Sensing someone enter, he looked up quietly at Yan Quan: "You've come."

"You...you?!" Yan Quan stared at Yan Ceyan in astonishment. "What do you intend to do to Yu Liang?"

“Tsk…” Upon hearing this, the scar under Yan Ceyan’s eye twitched very slightly. “The only person I saw when I arrived was him…”

"Are you that worried about him?"

The next second, Yan Ceyan angrily grabbed the chair Yu Liang was sitting in and rocked it a few times, causing Yu Liang's body to tilt and sway precariously.

"Ah...no, no!" Yu Liang cried out in terror.

"Yan Ceyan, are you out of your mind? How dare you bully him like this—" Yan Quan shouted angrily, but the next second the sound was stuck in her throat.

Because Yan Quan watched as Yan Ceyan's face instantly turned cold, his eyes filled with a churning, explosive gloom: "...I bullied him?"

“I warned him beforehand not to touch my things.”

"Which hand?" Yan Ceyan suddenly turned his head, the sharp tip of the knife in his hand pointing directly at Yu Liang's face: "Which hand did you use to hand me the milk yesterday?"

"How much do you want for medical expenses? One million? Two million?"

Alpha's voice was deep and menacing, each word chilling and terrifying: "I'll chop off your hand."

These words carried weight and silence. Yu Liang turned deathly pale, and the surrounding atmosphere instantly fell silent—Yan Quan finally understood in that instant...

Why are the arrogant young masters of Class A so afraid of Yan Ceyan? Why do the students in the class not dare to utter a sound every time Yan Ceyan enters the classroom? Why does he call himself a "rare lucky one"?

Once he sheds his usual taciturn facade, Yan Ceyan is nothing more than a mad dog, acting on impulse and ruthlessly killing.

"Could it be..."

The cause and effect, the subtle clues, finally began to connect in his mind. Yan Quan stared blankly at the tall Alpha in front of him, and slowly opened his lips to speak:

"Yan Ceyan, do you like me?"

Yan Quan was speechless when he uttered those words: "You're fucking...jealous right now?"

The voice trailed off, and the room fell silent once more.

Even Yu Liang, who had been struggling, froze for a moment, then looked at Yan Ceyan with a strange smile: "Ah... and you're talking about me, aren't you a pervert too?"

"An Alpha who falls for another Alpha, a gay deadbeat..."

"..." Provoked, Yan Ceyan suddenly plunged the military knife in his hand into the wooden chair: "Shut up."

Yu Liang immediately fell silent, trembling with fear.

Blood was slowly trickling from the palm of his hand, which was holding the military knife. The bright red liquid flowed down the taut muscles of his arm, leaving several long streaks, but Yan Ceyan remained motionless, his body stiff.

"I f***ing…" Finally, Yan Ceyan raised his head in a daze, looking at Yan Quan. His voice trembled slightly at the end, as if in disbelief. "I like…you?"

"Yan Ceyan, actually, it's really pointless for you to treat Yu Liang as a rival in love."

Yan Quan walked step by step toward Yan Ceyan, and bent down to untie the ropes binding Yu Liang's back.

“I have absolutely no feelings for Yu Liang. Taking his milk—” Yan Quan paused, “was also out of pity for him…”

Even though Yu Liang had been tortured and disheveled just now, he had gritted his teeth and persevered. But now, hearing Yan Quan's words, he was almost in tears.

"Yan Quan, are you... are you telling the truth?"

“Yes.” Yan Quan stared coldly at Yu Liang: “The reason I’ve always accepted that you’re like a clown, showing up at the window every day, is because I find you amusing.”

"I'm tired of you now, you're not fun anymore..."

"Ha... Yan Quan, so that's what you were thinking?"

After being untied, Yu Liang stumbled to his feet, his face suddenly contorting into a horrifying, grotesque expression. "I pursued you so earnestly, I thought you'd at least be a little bit moved."

"So you've been watching the whole thing and laughing all along?" Yu Liang's face showed a mixture of tears and laughter. "You were just playing with me..."

"Yes," Yan Quan said coldly, "I'm just playing with you."

"I...I don't believe it..." Yu Liang hesitated, just like he had been by the window yesterday: "You...you must be lying to me."

"What good would it do me to lie to you?" Yan Quan grabbed the knife nailed to the chair and pointed it at Yu Liang: "Get lost."

I don't want to see you again.

The self-deceiving expression was finally torn apart, and Yu Liang's face suddenly became twisted and gloomy.

He slumped forward, his body limp, and walked towards the door. Before disappearing down the hallway, he gave Yan Quan one last, intense look: his eyes filled with hatred: "You damned, cold-blooded scum—"

"I'll let you know what it feels like to be played too."

"Clang—" The very next second after Yu Liang's figure disappeared, the metal knife in Yan Quan's hand fell heavily onto the hard cement floor due to loss of strength, making a loud and heavy thud.

His right hand trembled uncontrollably, and Yan Quan could only try his best to press it down with his other left hand.

"Alright." Yan Quan took a deep breath and tried to calmly look into Yan Ceyan's dark and deep eyes. "I have made everything very clear."

"Now you can let Yu Liang go, right?"

"..." Yan Ceyan did not reply. His tall figure, casting a heavy shadow, took a step closer to Yan Quan.

"You..." Yan Quan was about to open his mouth when his words were cut off—the Alpha's warm breath, like a storm sweeping across the land, forcefully and domineeringly stole all of Yan Quan's breath. "Ugh..."

Yan Ceyan was very strong. He held down Yan Quan's resisting hands with one hand and pressed down hard on the back of Yan Quan's head with the other.

"Ugh, sob sob..." The more Yan Quan struggled, the more eager Yan Ceyan seemed to want to verify something. He dug his fingers deeper and deeper into Yan Quan's long hair and bit her lower lip fiercely with his canine teeth.

To be honest, this should be considered Yan Quan and Yan Ceyan's first kiss.

But Yan Quan generally doesn't admit that it was their first kiss.

Because no couple's first kiss in the world is as fierce as a mad dog's bite.

Yan Quan dared to guarantee that Yan Ceyan at that time had no idea what normal human interaction was. He was just instinctively, savagely, like a primitive animal, trying to forcibly possess the mate he desired.

"Hoo, ha... Yan Ceyan..."

The kiss lasted a long time. Several times, Yan Quan managed to break free slightly, only to be pulled back by Yan Ceyan and bitten again.

Yan Quan went from being shocked, resisting, and struggling at the beginning, to eventually being bitten until his body was limp and he had no temper left.

“Yan, Ceyan, um, you…tm…um…”

Yan Quan felt like an eternity had passed before Yan Ceyan finally reluctantly let him go.

With a slight loosening of his grip, Yan Quan was finally able to speak in a complete sentence: "Yan Ceyan, are you fucking crazy—"

Yan Ceyan turned and pressed Yan Quan's back against his chest, breathing heavily against Yan Quan's ear: "Mmm."

...? Yan Quan: "I'm calling you sick."

"Hmm." Yan Ceyan seemed unsatisfied, grabbing Yan Quan's hair and tilting his head to place a wet, hot kiss on Yan Quan's forehead: "Just think of me as sick."

I like you now.

"I've fallen for an Alpha."

And so, Yan Quan began dating Yan Ceyan, even though Yan Quan never agreed to it...

But it didn't matter, because Yan Ceyan didn't care whether Yan Quan agreed or not. After all, Yan Ceyan's greatest skill was—coercion.

From this perspective, this abnormal relationship, while seemingly unequal on the surface, is actually a battle of equals.

Yan Ceyan seemed to have gained the upper hand by virtue of his innate physiological advantages as an Alpha, but he lost his most important asset first – sincerity.

Therefore, a complete defeat in the future was foreseeable.

*Recollection of the dividing line, the end*

Author's Note: Um... I know there might be controversy about the character of Yan Ceyan (a truly paranoid, dark, and insane person). But, this is exactly how I envisioned him (it's just my personal preference).

If any of you readers find this passage upsetting or unacceptable, I apologize; it just means we might not be quite aligned in our understanding.

Thank you for reading this chapter. If fate allows, let's meet again for the next book! (The next book will be a positive, healthy, and sweet story, I promise!)
