The doctor said gently, "The anesthesia hasn't worn off yet, so he won't wake up for a while. If you have anything to do, you can go ahead and do it. We'll take care of things for Elder Lian, so you don't need to worry."
Huo Dongfang looked at Ye Fanxing, "Xingxing, shall we go to the airport now?"
Because of the aggressive questioning Ye Fanxing had received earlier, she still asked with slight unease now that she could leave, "Can we really leave now?"
"Yes, don't worry." The doctor said firmly and calmly, "You are Teacher Lianqiao's student, I will protect you."
Ye Fanxing smiled shyly and said, "It's already a blessing that I didn't embarrass my master."
Since the old man had safely passed the critical period, Ye Fanxing and Huo Dongfang did not stay in the hospital any longer. Instead, they hurriedly returned to the Huo family home and, amidst the blessings of the Huo family members, carried their large and small bags of luggage to the airport.
Fortunately, Ye Fanxing was lucky. When she and Huo Dongfang arrived at the airport, there was just half an hour left before the last flight boarded.
Ye Fanxing and Huo Dongfang checked in their luggage and boarded the plane back to Licheng.
I boarded the plane.
Ye Fanxing felt a bit drowsy in his seatbelt.
Huo Dongfang asked the flight attendant for a light blanket, draped it over Ye Fanxing, and then sat down to read a book.
The flight from Beijing to Licheng is quite long; Ye Fanxing woke up before they even arrived in Licheng.
Looking out the cabin window, it was pitch black outside.
The cabin lights were pale and lacked warmth.
Ye Fanxing was momentarily disoriented, unsure whether she was on a plane to Europe for a performance or on a plane to Licheng.
"Star."
Seeing that Ye Fanxing's gaze was unfocused, Huo Dongfang called out softly.
Ye Fanxing slowly turned her head and looked blankly at Huo Dongfang. Only then did the light in her eyes gradually warm up.
How long did I sleep?
Huo Dongfang glanced at his watch and said, "A little over an hour."
Ye Fanxing stretched out her hands and gently stroked and kneaded her face, her thoughts gradually returning to normal.
"I wonder how Elder Lian is doing?"
Huo Dongfang reassured him, "Elder Lian enjoys the best resources in the country, he'll be fine. If you're worried, I'll call home and ask after we get off the plane."

Ye Fanxing couldn't fall asleep.
She drank some water, turned on her reading light, and began reading medical books.
When she saw the words "Forsythia" in the medical book, a possibility suddenly came to her mind.
Her master, Lian Qiao, seems to share the same surname as Elder Lian.
Such a thought flashed through Ye Fanxing's mind. Since Ye Fanxing knew that Lian Qiao's name was just a random name, she didn't take it to heart and just lowered her head to read the book carefully.
When the plane landed safely at Licheng Airport, Ye Fanxing and Huo Dongfang carried all their luggage out of the airport.
Huo Dongfang borrowed a public phone at the airport to make a call to the Huo family and inquire about Elder Lian's situation.
Over the phone, Huo's mother told Ye Fanxing and Huo Dongfang that Elder Lian had woken up, but needed to rest in the hospital for a while.
Ye Fanxing was overjoyed to learn that Elder Lian had woken up.
She looked at Huo Dongfang with delight, and said lightly and easily, "Old Lian is awake! He's awake!"
Huo Dongfang hung up the phone and affectionately stroked Ye Fanxing's hair.
"You don't have to worry anymore?"
Huo Dongfang could tell that Ye Fanxing had been somewhat restless.
"Yes, I'm not worried anymore."
Ye Fanxing's expression was both playful and sly.

Upon seeing that the visitors were Ye Fanxing and Huo Dongfang, they asked in surprise, "Why are you back?"
Ye Fanxing put down her luggage, ran quickly to Lian Qiao's side, and hugged her tightly.
"Master, we're back to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with you!"
Huo Dongfang took out osmanthus wine, mooncakes, and crabs from his luggage.
"Xingxing, you guys chat, I'm going to steam some crabs."
Huo Dongfang turned and went into the kitchen.
He made a point of giving Ye Fanxing and Lian Qiao time to chat.
Ye Fanxing wasn't idle either; she placed the roast duck she bought from the capital on the stone table in the courtyard.
Then all the food for moon-viewing was laid out one by one.
“Master, we originally planned to come back and have dinner with you, but when we went to buy roast duck, we encountered one of Huo Dongfang’s elders who fainted. His condition was very urgent, so I gave him acupuncture!”
Ye Fanxing moved closer to Lian Qiao and took her hand in his.
"Master, you don't know how scared I was when I had acupuncture!"
“I feel very safe and not afraid at all when you're around.”
“Because after the incident, you always covered for me, but today I’m genuinely scared.”
“If I don’t intervene, he might suffer a cerebral hemorrhage, or even worse.”

Lian Qiao never thought Ye Fanxing would come back. Over the years, she had long been used to spending all the holidays alone.
