A five-pointed star was imprinted on her cheek.
"Uncle Huo, it's a star!"
Huo Dongfang echoed gently, "It's a star."
Huo Dongfang got up and took his luggage from the overhead rack. After the train arrived at the station, Huo Dongfang helped Ye Fanxing onto a bus and headed straight for the airport.
Upon arriving at the airport station, the two carried their luggage to the entrance hall.
"Star, wait for me here."
Huo Dongfang placed the luggage next to Ye Fanxing and then went to handle the relevant procedures.
Ye Fanxing sat obediently on the bench waiting for Huo Dongfang, her burning gaze following Huo Dongfang's figure.
After completing the necessary procedures, Huo Dongfang was about to go find Ye Fanxing when suddenly, a fashionable and modern woman blocked his way.
"Dongfang, I saw something that looked like you from afar, and I thought I was seeing things. But it really is you!"
Huo Dongfang raised his eyes and looked at Lu Xiangrong standing in front of him.
He politely but distantly distanced himself from Lu Xiangrong.
They were engaged back then.
If it weren't for his accident, the engagement would still be ongoing.
After his incident, the Lu family immediately distanced themselves from him.
Huo Dongfang could understand Lu Xiangrong's decision, but he couldn't be friends with her.
"Lu Xiangrong, it's been a long time."
Lu Xiangrong seemed completely oblivious to Huo Dongfang's emotions, and asked to herself, "Dongfang, are you still blaming me? Blaming me for being too heartless back then? I..."
Huo Dongfang interrupted Lu Xiangrong's reminiscing, saying in a deep voice, "Lu Xiangrong, you and I have nothing to do with each other..."
"Dongfang, it wasn't entirely my fault that we broke off the engagement back then..."
Just as Lu Xiangrong was about to say something, Ye Fanxing, carrying her luggage, quickly came up behind Lu Xiangrong and called out sweetly.
"Brother Dongfang!"
