Huo Dongfang and Ye Fanxing never expected that Lu Xiangrong would be so ill.

"Lu Xiangrong." Ye Fanxing looked at Lu Xiangrong with a dark expression. "The way you're talking makes it sound like you're pregnant with Huo Dongfang's child! When you were having promiscuous sex outside, didn't you ever think about the possibility of someone getting pregnant? You don't respect yourself, and you want to shift the blame onto Huo Dongfang? Lu Xiangrong clenched her fists, her eyes bloodshot as she glared at Ye Fanxing.
"It's all your fault. If it weren't for you, Huo Dongfang would never have refused me."
Huo Dongfang's deep gaze fell on Lu Xiangrong's resentful face, and he said with a slight parting of his thin lips, "Lu Xiangrong, from the moment you abandoned me back then, I severed all ties with you and had nothing to do with you anymore."
Lu Xiangrong burst into laughter at Huo Dongfang's words.
"Huo Dongfang, if it weren't for you, would I have ended up in this state today?"
Ye Fanxing was speechless with anger at Lu Xiangrong's utterly absurd remarks.
It was clearly Lu Xiangrong who gave up on Huo Dongfang, so why does she now think she's the victim?
“Lu Xiangrong, every path you take in life is your own choice. You can blame heaven, earth, or your parents, but you can’t blame Huo Dongfang, because from the day you went abroad to study, you had nothing to do with Huo Dongfang.”
Lu Xiangrong roared angrily, "Shut up! Ye Fanxing! I'm talking to Huo Dongfang, what right do you have to interrupt?!"
"Because I am Huo Dongfang's fiancée."
Ye Fanxing's pretty face was as cold as frost.
"And you are the third party who is entangled with my fiancé."
Lu Xiangrong stepped forward and slapped Ye Fanxing hard across the face.
Huo Dongfang grabbed Lu Xiangrong's wrist and yanked it away violently.
Lu Xiangrong lost her balance and fell over.
Seeing this, Lu's mother reached out and hugged Lu Xiangrong.
"Enough! Stop fooling around!"
Lu's mother hugged Lu Xiangrong tightly with both hands. She looked at Huo Dongfang and Ye Fanxing with slight embarrassment and sincerely apologized, "Huo Dongfang, I have failed to raise my daughter well and have caused you trouble."
“Aunt Lu.” Huo Dongfang’s eyes were cold and his tone was horrified. “Please keep your daughter in check and stop bothering us. If it happens again, I will not be polite.”
Lu's mother said in a hoarse voice, "I promise she won't bother you anymore."
Huo Dongfang put his arm around Ye Fanxing's shoulder and silently walked towards the end of the corridor.
"Star, don't try to reason with this madman, you won't get anywhere with him."
Ye Fanxing nodded obediently.
"I know."
Lu Xiangrong and her mother stood still, staring intently at the backs of Huo Dongfang and Ye Fanxing.
Lu Xiangrong trembled all over, unsure whether she felt hatred or regret.
When Lu's mother saw her daughter like this, she softened.
