"You admit that you did everything, but what was your motive for killing?"
"Because I can't stand that Xiao Se's father is a school board member. He always bullies me at school, leads the way in ostracizing me, and wants me to get out of the preparatory class. My goal is to frame him. Now that things have been exposed, I can't escape."
Lin Weiwei looked at the confession and signed it without thinking. A red stamp was left on her. She stood in line behind the serious criminals for a physical examination in her prison uniform. Because her motives were so perverse, the prison guards put an electronic ankle bracelet on her. Whenever she had the intention to escape or the motive to kill, it would trigger a 48-volt electric current.
The prison guards didn't treat the serial killer well. They kept hitting Lin Weiwei's tailbone with their batons, giving orders not to cut in line, making an example of her. What did these physical pains matter? She endured them all without saying a word, letting the doctor examine her with practiced skill and heavy blows.
She was carrying a basin filled with toiletries: a small tube of toothpaste, a half-cut piece of sulfur soap, a 100g bag of laundry detergent, a roll of toilet paper, and six sanitary napkins. Each person was given exactly what they needed, and no one was allowed to take more than the allotted amount. If anyone needed more than the allotted amount, they had to fend for themselves.
Each person in the cell has no name, only a number, and she just happened to be associated with the number 1, the 101st murderer. When the prison guard called her name, he looked her up and down, and spat.
"Hmm, there are orders from above..." A prison guard wearing a badge whispered a few words in the spitting man's ear, then nodded to Lin Weiwei and left.
Upon hearing her superior's specific instructions, she immediately changed her tune, took out a tissue to wipe the phlegm from her face, coughed awkwardly a few times, and said with her hands behind her back, "I couldn't help it just now. Let me tell you, anyone who comes in here is not to be trifled with or try to escape. Otherwise, they'll spend the rest of their lives in jail and all benefits will be revoked. There are rules everywhere, and no one is exempt!"
She was being held in a women's prison, where women awaited their deaths. Hearing the prison guards speak, she showed no fear, even letting out a disdainful snort.
Baldy vouched for her by citing her past history of saving people and her personal reputation, hoping to avoid the death penalty. However, the families of the deceased refused to accept this and insisted on carrying out the death penalty. The death toll was too high, and they couldn't find Lin Weiwei's accomplices for the time being. They felt that it was impossible for an ordinary person to kill so many people, and there must be accomplices. However, Lin Weiwei refused to talk about it, so they could only keep her here until she did.
"Now it's your free time, so get to know your surroundings. You! Your number is 101. As a perk of my earlier rudeness, I'll give you a private room as a perk. You all should learn from this; anyone as obedient as her who won't rebel will get perks."
"Damn it, that's not fair! Why don't you throw up at me? Ten people share a room, why is she given a private room?"
"That's right, they've all been reborn as animals, so what's the difference between high and low, noble and base?"
...
Amidst the murmurs, Lin Weiwei didn't even glance at any of them. How the prison guards assigned rooms was her business, and wanting a single room was her business too. The iron chains on her feet caught their attention.
Everyone else had ordinary chains, but hers was an electronic chain, the kind with the strongest volts. What kind of person could have such a configuration?
"If you don't want to die quietly, shut up before I do," Lin Weiwei said with a single glance, startling everyone into taking three steps back.
Very well, a warning is all that's needed to deal with these nagging people.
Everyone was assigned to their own rooms. Looking at Lin Weiwei following behind the prison guards, they were all very unhappy. She was arrogant, of medium build, and quite strong. Even a light twist of her arm would cause her to be sore and swollen for days, if not dislocated.
So, they secretly started electing a leader and forming a small group, all of whom disliked Lin Weiwei. During free time, they all went to the playground, but Lin Weiwei sat alone outside the three-point line, looking at the five-meter-high iron fence, where not even a bird could fly out.
"Hey, 101, bring me the basketball, quick!"
"Boss, she looks down on you, and you still want to take her in?"
Hearing the person next to her, the prison bully felt extremely humiliated. Every muscle in her body swayed as she walked, her fat head and big ears making her breathing rapid. She grabbed Lin Weiwei's head and squeezed it hard. This person's head was made of dough. In her eyes, Lin Weiwei was the easiest one to bully in the prison. Today, she would first establish her authority.
However, no matter how much she pinched Lin Weiwei's head, even though she was covered in sweat, she couldn't see any pain in the woman's expression. Instead, she just stared blankly at the sky outside the railing and didn't pay any attention to her.
Damn it! Is this woman's butt rooted to the spot? No matter how the prison bully tried to lift her up, her butt didn't budge an inch, and she remained completely still like a piece of wood.
"Go for it, boss! Let's call it 101. We're betting on you to win, and the stake is a sanitary napkin, how about one at a time?"
The most valuable item was probably this; it was a woman's life-saving treasure, so everyone was betting on it. Lin Weiwei then considered this. Gambling? Interesting.
“I’ll bet six pieces, on myself,” she said, resting her chin on her hand as she looked at the group of women, who were chattering noisily.
"Hahaha, that's hilarious! You think you can win? I'll bet six pieces too!"
"Me too"
"Six pieces"
...
Lin Weiwei smiled, not expecting that going to prison would be so interesting. She stretched and accidentally hit the prison bully's big belly, sending her bouncing back like a balloon.
What's going on?!
101 made a move? She just stretched.
The prison bully staggered to his feet, still defiant. As he ran over, the ground shook and dust billowed up.
Just as she was about to throw a punch at Lin Weiwei, she flashed past and was already in front of the gambling stall, counting the sanitary napkins in her hand.
"A monster!"
They all stepped back, keeping a meter's distance from Lin Weiwei. This woman was terrifying; it was like she was using a cheat code. How did she get there? Drifting, instantaneous teleportation?
"Who's causing trouble?" Hearing the noise, the prison guard ran over with his gun in hand to investigate. Why were these murderers so restless during the shift change?
Hands were pointed at Lin Weiwei, and they ran after the prison guards.
"101, I advise you to behave yourself and surrender!"
Lin Weiwei put down the sanitary napkin and raised her hands. "Nobody's causing trouble, I just stretched."
"She's lying! Look what she did to me, ugh... I feel like throwing up now."
"Yes, I did it. I was just stretching. Do you have a problem with that?"
She walked over slowly and unhurriedly, raising an eyebrow, seemingly unafraid of the gun in the prison guard's hand.
