Chapter Fifteen: Detention Center Resident (Part 2)

The next day, the school bell rang, and the students were lazily sleeping at their desks. This class was supposed to be taught by Teacher Luo Luo, but she had asked for leave and arranged for self-study instead. Everyone was listlessly lying on their desks looking at their phones. The school had just uploaded the promotional video to its official WeChat account, and the school was trending on social media early in the morning.

Everyone was excited and forwarding the post, praising Wanzi's superb acting skills and her beauty, and many went up to take photos with her.

Xiao Fei, leaning on his crutches and supported by a caregiver, limped in carrying a sack.

"Ma Fei, why aren't you resting in the hospital? What brought you here?"

Han Han immediately stood up and went over to ask her what was wrong, but she pretended not to hear him, brushed past him, and glared at Lin Weiwei with hostility in her eyes.

With a thud, the sack was thrown in front of her. He opened it right in front of her, and it was full of new banknotes. The students were so frightened that they didn't dare to make a sound. What had happened?

“Lin Weiwei, take your money and get out of Preparatory Class 7! Do you even know that the hardware store Xiao Se robbed last night is owned by the family? That's not theft! And…” He turned to his classmate, his eyes red-rimmed, and removed the bandage from his head. After several days of recuperation, the bump on his head had subsided, leaving only stitches. He choked back a few words, “Xiao Se robbed the store because of the clothes he ordered for our advertising performance, to help Liu Yidao confess to Li Tao, and to pay for my medical expenses!”

I didn't see the message last night because it was too late. This morning, after fully charging my phone and turning it on, I was surprised to find it was a message from Kuai Zui.

Brother, Xiao Se and I got into a robbery and ended up in the detention center. Lin Weiwei tipped us off! We probably won't be out anytime soon. You have to go and beg Uncle Xiao to speak up for us. Only if he says this is his son will we have a chance to get out.

Everyone knows that Xiao Se's father is a school board member, so he has very high expectations for Xiao Se. He beats him at the drop of a hat and won't give him any living expenses if he doesn't listen. He restricts his freedom for a long time. In the past, his monthly living expenses were at least 100,000, but recently he has been not handing in his homework, so his father has reduced it to 10,000. So whenever Xiao Se gives Xiao Fei money, he returns it without a trace. This money belongs to Uncle Xiao.

The father and son never got along, so Xiao's father rarely went home and often lived with his stepmother.

"Lin Weiwei, Xiao Se doesn't want to see your face again, so you should leave..."

You once saved me, and I will definitely repay that favor. I will help her find the person she is looking for, but Class 7 of the Preparatory Course will absolutely not allow such a person to exist.

Han Han stood with his hands on his hips, feeling a mix of worry and overwhelming joy at the sight. He clicked his tongue in disapproval, thinking, "I don't even need to find someone to deal with her; Xiao Fei can't tolerate her anymore."

"Children without parents are pitiful. Lin Weiwei, you have always lacked manners, so it's understandable that you would do something like this. Please write your own application to withdraw from school."

After hearing this, Xiao Fei pointed his index finger at the person in front of him and said, "Han Han, swallow your swear words. You can't talk about Lin Weiwei like that." All the classmates in the class had always liked her, but he was the only one who didn't like her at all. He always felt that this woman was desperately trying to get close to Xiao Se for ulterior motives. He had personally witnessed her confiscating and throwing away many of Xiao Se's love letters.

Lin Weiwei kicked the desk and chair in front of her, causing a row of desks and chairs in the classroom to collide and make a loud noise, startling them into backing away. Large amounts of cash floated in the air, but no one picked them up.

Yes, she truly had no parents and didn't even know what they looked like. Having grown up in a training camp from childhood, she had never experienced any family, which was one of her biggest bottom lines. In the blink of an eye, Lin Weiwei appeared before Han Han.

She grabbed Han Han by the neck, lifting him up so his feet were dangling off the ground, and the veins on the back of his hands were bulging. With just one more twist, his neck could break instantly, but seeing the school ID card on his chest and remembering Liu Yidao's words, "We're all classmates!" he hesitated to make a move.

Han Han was already choking and couldn't breathe. He started rolling his eyes and pounding her arm.

Maruko watched for a long time, and when she saw that Han Han had started foaming at the mouth, she shouted in fright, "Let go quickly, Weiwei! She's going to die if you don't let go!"

Rou Rou couldn't stand it anymore. Han Han's words were really too much this time. Saying someone is ill-mannered is like insulting their parents. You can insult someone, but you can't insult their parents. This big sister usually only hangs around Xiao Se and has never done anything to wrong her classmates. On the contrary, she is always willing to help others.

"Lin Weiwei, let go!" She threw a chicken leg at Lin Weiwei's head.

Other classmates rushed forward to stop her, but Xiao Fei pulled her arm back, still without any reaction. Don't scare people! Lin Weiwei, she strangled someone to death in the classroom! How can she be so strong?! The classmates started a tug-of-war, grabbing her arms and legs, but they couldn't budge her an inch.

With a gentle release of his fingers, Han Han collapsed to the ground, his eyes wide and expressionless, yet his gaze held a terrifying intensity, as if a thousand arrows were piercing his heart and he could devour someone. His neck was covered in five finger marks. Han Han tried to speak, but found his ligaments aching, especially when he swallowed.

"When I kill someone, you all know to stop me, and when he robs someone, I will stop him too. What's the difference?"

With a flick of his body, he shook off the dozens of arms that were firmly shackled to his body, and they all lay on the ground in pain.

"Ouch...it hurts!"

"Ouch, that hurts..."

"Get up, you're crushing me."

...

She never held back when she made a move, but this time, for some reason, she let go. She walked to her desk, picked up her backpack, and went out the door.

Xiao Fei watched her leave, her last words evoking mixed feelings, and picked up the photo of Anuo that she had taken from the ground.

In Preparatory Class 7, unity is key. You may not like Xiao Se, but we're all classmates. Before Han Han mentioned you were an orphan, I didn't know either. It turns out it's not that you're heartless, but that you were born different from us. What happened to make you like this?

He seemed out of place with everyone in the class from the moment he appeared, and just when everyone was starting to like him, he did something like this. Anuo, who are you to me anyway, that you're in such a hurry to find him?

Han Han was also picked up by Wanzi and Rou Rou, who gently patted her back. She was no longer sleepy during the class. The students picked up the money on the ground, put it in a sack, and handed it to Ma Fei...
