Chapter Twenty-Four: Adolescence is Acting Up

"Hmm, I have high hopes for you. It would be even better if you could teach that idiot Xiao Se." After two classes, Lao Lei stood at the classroom door with his textbook and negotiated with Lin Weiwei.

The school doctor said it was fortunate that she brought him in time, and luckily there was medicine available, which saved Lao Lei's life. Coincidentally, because of this action, Lao Lei, on the contrary, like the other teachers, thought very highly of Lin Weiwei.

Is it that popular?

Several classmates were watching the video, while Xiao Se stared at the computer screen. Even after slowing it down twenty times, he still couldn't see her series of movements.

Ma Fei pushed aside the person using the mobile computer. Hacking was his specialty. He went up and performed a series of operations as fierce as a tiger. When the speed was slowed down a hundred times, her running figure was clearly seen in front of everyone.

They became even more suspicious of Lin Weiwei's identity. "Xiao, I think we need to investigate her background thoroughly." Is she a devil or some unknown species? The chip behind her ear must be related to this.

"Yes, I understand. If necessary, I'd like to fight her to the death and see who prevails."

It's been a long time since we've had a rival like this. Mangxing University only has one leader, and her ambition is constantly growing. Now she's even won over the principal and teachers. Even a teacher as difficult as Lao Lei admires her. He's always been a local bully; as long as he's there, no other school will dare to cause trouble.

...

Ma Fei's face was full of black lines. You're probably the one who'll suffer.

Rou Rou came over carrying a box of snacks, her eyes red and swollen from crying. Xiao Se was last, and she was second to last. Now that everyone was about to part ways, let's share the snacks.

"Zhen Duomei, why are you crying?"

Ma Fei couldn't stand the girl crying all the time and rubbing against him. It was just math, but it made everyone anxious.

Advanced mathematics includes sequences, limits, calculus, spatial analytic geometry and linear algebra, series, and ordinary differential equations. The total score for each subject is 100 points, and 60 points is enough to pass.

"Han Han isn't here, and she's the one who helps me cheat every year. It seems I'm really not suited for college. My dad said if I can't pass the exam, I should just go back home, farm, and marry a country bumpkin." Rou Rou's heart was hanging in mid-air. If she went back to the countryside, she would never be able to eat so many snacks again. She would have to go to town to buy something, and if she was slow, everything would be snatched up. She couldn't live that kind of life.

Han Han...

Where exactly are you?

People only realize the importance of someone when they lose them. Xiao Se was thinking about her all the time. He said he was the leader of Class 7 in the preparatory course, but he didn't care about anything. She helped him with his review materials. Since Lin Weiwei appeared, he hadn't touched his homework, and the two of them gradually drifted apart.

"What's there for Rou Rou to cry about? It's not like she's not coming back. We can just cheat together." Wanzi, with her hair in two ponytails, opened the book. It was brand new, like it had just been published. The cover wasn't wrinkled at all, and every page was faded and there wasn't a single note on it.

Everyone's eyes were fixed on Lin Weiwei as she walked into the classroom. Their eyes seemed to see hope in her. If it were Lin Weiwei, she would definitely pass in a second.

They all looked pitifully at Xiao Se. He tried to run away but was pulled back into a chair, staring at him with ill intent. These people were full of wicked schemes; they clearly didn't know what they were planning. But given Lin Weiwei's personality, would she really help him cheat?

Lin Weiwei returned to Xiao Se's large sofa to pack her things. Her textbooks hadn't arrived yet, and she also needed a new desk. The original one had been dismantled by Han Han and his friends, and no one knew where it was. For the next few days, she had to share a desk with Xiao Se.

She tucked her bangs behind her ears and met those sparkling eyes. Huh? Was there something dirty on her face? She touched her skin; it was still smooth and delicate. School was over, and it was time for tutoring. She still needed to use the Xiao family's influence to find spies, build weapons, and fly back to the planet. So, she slung her backpack over her shoulder, grabbed Xiao Se's collar, and headed for the gate. The academy's largest library was accessible with a student ID.

library

Inside, tens of thousands of books were piled up. Pushing open the glass door, one's eyes were greeted by a staircase made of books of different sizes, leading straight to the roof. The three-story building, viewed from above, resembled a pillar reaching to the sky. The bookshelves inside were arranged in rows, categorized by type. Lin Weiwei, as if shopping in a supermarket, pushed her cart to the humanities section and picked up more than twenty books, including all the history books about Earth and geography.

When he sat at his desk facing Xiao Se, he only took out a book and a test paper with two hundred questions. "Finish this, hurry up!" His voice was very soft, but it was stern.

Is this a girl? She looks so fierce. She's holding a pen and looking at the questions on it; they're too difficult! There are so many questions that the teacher hasn't even covered yet. Is she deliberately trying to make things difficult for her?

"Hey, Lin Weiwei, I've never seen you smile before. Can you smile for me?"

laugh?

"That's easy," he mechanically flashed his seven teeth, then realized, "this guy's flirting with me!" He grabbed a book from beside him and smashed it over the head. Not giving up, he followed up with a side kick under the table, sending the guy sprawling to the ground. utterly pathetic. How did he become the bully of Mangxing University?

Xiao Se stood up in pain, and as she tried to retaliate, she noticed that more students from the library had gathered around. They watched her flip through the books like a scanner in less than ten minutes, turning a page every second, her eyes glued to the pages. Everyone was whispering among themselves.

"Is this Lin Weiwei, the top student? Even her reading style is different from others."

"It's her, I've seen her trending on social media."

"So indifferent, not a single expression on your face."

"Why are you blocking the way? Hurry up if you want to borrow books!" The vice principal was also blocked by the crowd. When he went closer, he saw that it was Lin Weiwei studying. Moreover, her way of reading was different from others. She would read ten lines at a time, or rather, a thousand lines.

He glanced at Xiao Se, who was dumbfounded. How did these two end up teaming up? To make them study properly, he quickly sent the onlookers away.

Seeing that she didn't speak, Xiao Se returned to his seat and began studying the exercises. There were two hundred questions in total. He simply left the ones he didn't know blank and barely managed to calculate the ones he did know. He would occasionally look up at her.

She looked quite cute when she was serious. The sunlight reflected off her face, her eyelashes blinked slightly, and sitting quietly beside me, I could only hear her pretty nose breathing. Her thin lips were moist and glossy, and she must have applied lipstick or something. I felt my throat was dry and my heart was pounding. And whenever she gently raised her hand to tuck her bangs behind her ear, I felt my little brother was failing me.

Damn it! Is this some kind of teenage angst, letting my mind wander like this? She's Lin Weiwei, a cold, ruthless, strange, and mysterious woman. I slapped myself a few times to stay awake and focus on my problem.
