As he placed the newly prepared petri dish into the instrument, A-Gu took off his gloves, glasses, and mask, his voice revealing exhaustion. "Let's see if we can succeed this time."
He has failed at this crucial step many times. There is no problem with the logic; he just doesn't know where he went wrong to cause the failure.
Hua Ansu offered him the recliner and massaged his temples. "How's it going? Is the pressure okay?"
It was the same technique that A-Gu had used on her before.
A-Yi-Gu raised his lips slightly, "Very professional."
Hua An smiled and said, "I have a strong learning ability, right?"
"Yes, my Asu is great."
Before long, A-Yi-Gu fell asleep. Hua An-Su covered him with a small blanket and got up quietly.
She hadn't been here for two days, and the place had changed drastically. What surprised her most was the green plant in the petri dish. Ah-i-gu had actually managed to grow it using this deteriorated soil!
Even though there was only one plant.
However, when she touched her chin, she was actually half-mad!
That's impossible, isn't it?
She had witnessed firsthand the extreme requirements of the growth environment for the half-step epilepsy. It had become increasingly fragile over the years, so how could it have been cultivated before those highly resistant crops?
She looked at the other petri dishes and saw that the seeds were still black. Sure enough, the impact on plants was greater than on animals, which had been discovered long ago.
The crops died overnight.
Some animals struggled for several days and died, while others developed violent tendencies.
The person is completely weak but not in mortal danger.
Hua Ansu knew that the three gradients were just the first stage of the reaction brought about by the "new substance," and that crops and some animals had not been able to withstand it.
The subsequent stages of the disease are by no means simpler than the previous two.
By the way, this new substance that caused the genetic mutation was named Alkali I by Hua An Su and A Yi Gu.
Hua Ansu had a real headache when it came to genetics. On their home planet, these were the jobs of pharmacists, who had always been interested in them and had developed a very mature theoretical understanding of them.
After circling around, Hua Ansu stopped and waited for A Yigu to wake up. Perhaps because he was worried about something, A Yigu woke up after only an hour and hugged the person nestled in his arms tightly. "You stayed in the snow mountain for two days."
"Yes, I've found the source. Lots of Alkali Ion No. 1 stock solution."
She couldn't help but laugh, "You don't know, all of this happened because of a greedy little thief."
"Greedy?"
A-Gu flicked her nose, "Are you talking about yourself?"
Hua Ansu glared at him, "The key point is 'petty thief'!"
A-Gu smiled and kissed her cheek. "Is it an ear mouse?"
"Wow, how come your brain works so fast? Can't you guess?" Hua Ansu felt frustrated.
A-Gu smiled, "Next time I'll guess a few more times before I get it right."
Hua Ansu was so angry that he punched his chest.
A-yi didn't dodge. She used very little strength, which gave him the opportunity to hold her hands and kiss her, while his other hand steadied her waist.
Having tasted the benefits, A-Yi-Gu was in a much better mood. He asked Hua An-Su, "Can I learn about the 'miracle drug'?"
Words she hadn't heard in a long time, words that occasionally echoed in her dreams... suddenly struck Hua Ansu's ears, and she froze, looking unusually bewildered.
Hua An Su, you stole the miracle drug!
It wasn't her, she didn't do that!
A-Gu was a little flustered by her reaction, "A-Su, A-Su, what's wrong?"
Hua Ansu's eyes gradually cleared, and her consciousness returned...
