Minur, I will never leave.

Minur, I will never leave.

They are currently located very close to Sydney Plains. The guides and sentinels are exposed to the same amount of radiation, but the guides are generally more resistant.

The sentries all returned to the landing point of the small warship, one after another, as they wanted to leave quickly before the radiation reached this area.

But Lieutenant General Klü put her combat helmet back on, pulling her mask down below her eyes. She was loading equipment from a small warship.

"Lieutenant General, are you going back?" Sangye helped Du Yuan onto the warship—if it weren't for Rong Cheng providing warmth, Du Yuan would have been frostbitten long ago—and turning to see Lieutenant General Ke Liu's actions, he couldn't help but ask.

Keliu didn't look up or answer her question; he just kept moving his hands.

“Going back won’t help,” Sangye couldn’t help but advise her. “The difference in mental level cannot be bridged by weapons.”

“I have shared life and death with the Executor for over seventy years, and it will be the same now,” Klui replied calmly, his tone firm. “I have escorted you here. You will go back and carry out her orders to destroy the snow mountain.”

Sangye almost blurted out that she was doing something pointless and foolish, but she swallowed the words back. When they went back to save Shifangwu one after another, they knew they were doing something foolish.

Knowing it's impossible, yet still insisting on doing it anyway.

But before Lieutenant General Keliu could prepare, a massive explosion, louder than anything else, swept in from another part of the mountaintop, accompanied by air currents. The unique radiation of the black crystal struck, and even though Du Yuan activated his mental barrier in time, it couldn't completely filter it out.

The sentries reacted quite strongly depending on their mental level.

"Snow Pear Plain!" Lieutenant General Ke Liu looked at the explosion site in astonishment.

They haven't even started their operation yet, so who could cause such a commotion?

Compared to the foot of the mountain, the mountaintop exposed them to direct, close-range radiation, and all three suffered considerable damage.

And this wasn't the first wave; after only a few seconds of pause, explosions rang out again—

"Go!" Keliu roared, ordering everyone to start the small warships and escape quickly.

She looked at the now silent mountaintop, leaped onto the small warship, but was grabbed by Sangye: "I'll go with you, Master... Du Yuan."

Keliu looked back with a disapproving and incomprehensible gaze, but before she could finish speaking, Sangye interrupted, "The Snow Mountain Tribe wants Du Yuan the most. As long as she's there, Brian will be more hesitant to act rashly. Du Yuan and I are both guides, so if the general is in trouble, we can rescue her in time."

Kuwano wouldn't admit that she was recalling the past. Moreover, from a pragmatic perspective, if helping Aso Ment could only bring benefits and no harm, changing the base's executive officer might not be a good thing for her.

Although Aso Ment was eccentric and unapproachable, she genuinely protected every sentinel under her command. Even Kuwano, who initially left a bad impression on her, was stopped by the crow's attack.

In the unique environment of Black Tower Star, if the executor deviates even slightly, this place will become a true hell.

Du Yuan had already changed into the warm combat suit that Rong Cheng had brought inside the warship, and she insisted that Rong Cheng stay.

She touched Rong Cheng's round face and said softly, "We can't send everyone out this time. We finally met, we can't put ourselves in danger together again."

Mountain top.

Aso Mente hid under the giant wings of the Gu Diao.

There was a huge, penetrating wound in her abdomen, from which blood was gushing out.

In the instant she was affected by the radiation, her mind went blank for a moment, and Brian pierced her with his blade.

Under normal circumstances, this kind of wound would heal completely in just a few minutes for an S-class patient, but that's not the case now.

Her blood flowed rapidly, and her mental energy was constantly being gathered and consumed in an attempt to repair the wound, but due to the effects of wave after wave of radiation, the results were minimal.

Even someone as strong as her turned pale from blood loss.

The pig-nosed snake on her sleeve was stained red with blood.

“Having survived so many dangerous wars, I never expected to suffer here.” Aso Ment stroked the Gu Diao’s warm feathers and looked into her golden eyes. “I’m sorry, old partner. I was too careless and arrogant, and I underestimated the Snow Mountain Tribe. I never imagined that such a person was hidden away.”

As an Imperial General, she was undeniably arrogant towards this planet, especially since it was just an "ordinary" mineral-producing planet.

Having been away from the battlefield for many years, she seemed to have lost her former sharpness.

“But besides me,” Aso Ment gave a bitter smile, “who else can come to the base? It’s better than letting Uja Ning lose her parents.”

The Gu Diao lowered its head, nuzzled her face, and told her it was okay.

After several shockwaves from the explosions, Brian let out a sharp hiss, a scraping sound as sharp as weapons cutting each other.

Brian inexplicably became enraged, his mental strength was constantly rising, and his attacks were becoming more and more fierce.

The other person present was also covered in injuries.

Minur Nine-Tailed Snow Fox had four tails severed, and blood kept splattering on the snowfield, blooming into crimson petals. But she did not give up at all. As if she was not affected by radiation, her tails quickly regenerated. The moment she was thrown off, she immediately summoned the snow waterfall and rushed forward again.

The brother and sister fought each other like enemies.

"Was it you!" Brian roared. "Was it you who blew up Sydney Plains?! How dare you!"

Sydney Plains is the source of his power. His spiritual body is made of black crystal, so he is not affected by radiation. He is the only human accepted by Sydney Plains.

However, this was only under the condition of peaceful coexistence. Over the years, he hid in the Snow Pear Plain, consuming black crystals time and time again, undergoing mutations one after another, and then returning to his original form with the help of a spiritual entity.

Relying on the fact that no one could get close to Sydney Plains, he acted recklessly, even believing that he had already established a connection with Sydney Plains.

“I’ve thought about it, but I can’t do it; but there are always people who can.” Minur’s exposed face was completely slashed, the wounds deep enough to expose bone, revealing Brian’s deepest malice towards her. “Isn’t it a good thing that the Snow Pear Plains have been destroyed? No more Snow Mountain tribesmen will yearn for this damned Black Crystal! No more people will die on the Black Crystal!”

"How are you still alright! Why!" Brian wanted nothing more than to slice her into pieces and scatter her like snowflakes.

Why isn't Minur exposed to radiation? Why doesn't she mutate?

Minur slowly straightened up, blood flowing from her cheeks, forming a pillar of blood before it even touched the ground: "You inherited your father's Black Crystal Spirit Body, so you possess his abilities and inherit the Snow Mountain Tribe. But I am also my father's child, and you can inherit everything from him." She said each word clearly, "Then, I, too, am, the same."

“Brian,” the nine-tailed snow fox rapidly regenerated its limbs, carrying the rage of its master, “No one lives for you, not the Snow Mountain Tribe, not me, not even Mother!”

Enraged, Brian showed no mercy and attacked Minur.

The person who destroyed Snowfield carried an unstoppable momentum, and the sound of the explosion in Snowfield grew closer and closer, as if it would affect everyone present in the next second.

There was no need to stay any longer. Aso Ment glanced at the brother and sister facing off, gritted his teeth, and stood up, wanting to leave the battlefield.

Brian, blinded by rage, was unwilling to let her have her way. But then, a sharp, stabbing pain suddenly shot through his mind, commanding him to stop. He had experienced this pain years ago.

Spiritual marker.

He angrily turned his head to look down at the sky, where a black-haired woman on a flying warship stared at him intently without moving.

Du Yuan planted a mental mark on him, but it was very superficial, and there was no blood relation to bind them. He was still a child then, but he isn't now.

Sangye, who was supporting Du Yuan, only heard Du Yuan groan, blood flowing from the corner of her mouth and tears of blood from her eyes, before she collapsed onto her.

She suffered a mental backlash.

But just this one moment is enough.

The Gu Diao, carrying Aso Mente, swept across the snowfield like a whirlwind, then leaped powerfully into the air—

A steel dagger was thrown at the Gu Diao. Just before it pierced her body, the Gu Diao let out a mournful cry and looked longingly at its master.

Aso Ment pulled her back from her mental image and confronted the deranged Brian.

The moment her mental power exploded, even the air seemed to freeze for a second. Like water or a fierce wind, she deflected the steel blade, a hum echoing through the sky. After falling from the air, she abruptly twisted her body, her Gu-eagle wings tearing through her combat suit, and like a ferocious female eagle, she snatched the steel blade.

The steel knife, responding to its master's call, writhed restlessly in her hand, tearing her glove and slashing her palm until it was a bloody mess, but Aso Ment did not let go.

She rushed towards Brian, defying the mental energy and radiation, and plunged the knife into his chest.

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

Brian, in pain, jerked her away.

"Admiral!" Kliu piloted his small warship in pursuit of Aso Ment's body as it rolled down the snow-capped mountains.

"Sang Ye," Du Yuan whispered in her ear, "release your spiritual form."

Kuwano maintained his balance amidst the jolts. "What?"

"Release your spiritual form and stop her." Du Yuan grabbed her ear. "Trust yourself! Your grotto can be used for more than just growing vegetables."

Sangye never guarded against her master. Du Yuan's spiritual power spread into her mental landscape, and the phoenix tree seemed to be summoned. A huge forest appeared before Sangye's eyes.

One by one, lush sycamore trees rose from the snow, their branches intertwined with the roots of Du Ruo flowers, forming a fine network that continued to grow and reproduce.

Brian was relentlessly pursuing them from behind, the small warship already battered and bruised.

“Jump.” Sangye heard her own voice. She was resolute and brave, full of confidence in herself. “Jump. We will definitely survive. I can protect you.”

Keliu turned his head and stared at her for a few seconds before releasing the steering wheel and opening the hatch.

Below, the hillsides are lush and green, covered with sycamore trees, their vines intertwined, layer upon layer, dense and abundant.

What caught the four of them was a large net, a net woven from countless sycamore tree branches.

Branches, leaves, vines, and flowers quickly entangled and enveloped the four of them, making them bounce and dodge through the forest like a plant ball.

Brian's view was blocked by layers of greenery. The spiritual power emanating from the guide was resilient; he could cut off one patch, but another would quickly grow back.

Under normal circumstances, S+ level individuals will not be entangled by the spiritual entities of B-level guides.

But as the bombing of Sydney Plains came to an end, his source of spiritual power disappeared.

Behind him, an aura hotter than snow mountain lava spread.

Someone is coming.

Brian turned around, his body, now a weapon, collided and screech, unable to revert to human form.

Standing in front of him was a man who was rather young.

Her black hair fell over her shoulders, with a single strand of golden-red hair standing out conspicuously. She looked down at him with a cold expression, as if he were trash.

Brian knew him, but had never dared to confront him.

He had witnessed how this man could burn down an entire snow-covered forest with the flick of his finger, and how he had bestowed upon his people, who had been completely transformed into aliens, a kind of divine favor.

After he left, the snow on the eternally unchanging snow-capped mountain stopped falling for many days.

The vast gap in their strength made Brian never dare to provoke him, or even appear before him.

But Brian knew that Minur had once saved his people from him, and even had his braid burned off.

On the day Minur bravely rushed out, he hid in the cave, afraid to make a sound.

That day, the man cast a disdainful glance into the cave and let Minur go.

It turns out that he was the one who blew up Sydney Plain.

The phoenix's cry was clear and high-pitched as it joyfully traversed the sycamore grove, gently brushing against the branches and leaves, making a rustling sound.

"Do you really want to live in your current state?" Lin Changli looked at the "mountain of cold weapons" in front of him with some amusement.

His flames climbed onto the weapon, dissolving and melting what was either the weapon or a limb.

Brian, under the pressure of mental force, was unable to make any sound or move.

Amidst the excruciating pain of being burned by the flames, Brian had all his growths burned away; however, he could no longer be considered human at all.

His entire body was covered in a layer of black crystals. His head and arms were crushed and deformed. When Aso Ment stabbed him in the chest, the black crystals shattered, revealing his heart inside.

The heart has transformed into a complete black crystal.

He can't go back to being the same person.

In his hazy state, he saw a familiar face running towards him, its nine tails still stained with blood, and it tripped and fell but didn't stop.

"Big brother! Big brother!"

She even calls him "Big Brother".

His face was scratched.

A sharp pain swept through his body; the backlash from the radiation had finally occurred.

Brian coughed up blood mixed with fragments of his internal organs in agony.

The person finally stumbled to his side. Just moments ago they were fighting to the death, but now they were even shedding tears.

Minuel grabbed Brian's twisted and deformed hand, even knowing Brian's ultimate fate, but...

As children, they held hands like this, watching their mother leave the warship.

Minur seemed to have said something at that time, but he couldn't quite remember it in his intense pain.

Minur raised his dagger and plunged it into his heart, relieving him of his pain.

He remembered.

Minur said, "Brother, this is my home, and I will never leave."
