Snow Mountain Sub-base lost XXX

Snow Mountain Sub-base lost XXX

The restaurant was filled with a peaceful atmosphere.

Everyone was busy unpacking the crayfish in their hands.

Mu An, overflowing with fatherly love, wanted to help his daughter, but he couldn't even peel them as quickly as Wu Jianing herself. She disdainfully pushed him aside.

Perhaps having gained experience from battling crayfish all afternoon, Wu Jianing easily separated the crayfish's head and body with a twist of her hands. The juice inside the crayfish's head gushed out, releasing a fresh, fragrant, spicy aroma that made one's mouth water.

Shrimp shells are hard and deep-fried, so children's hands are delicate and they can easily get pricked by the sharp edges. But with delicious food in front of her, Wu Jianing didn't care about the little pain. Soon, a mountain of shrimp shells was piled up on the small plate in front of her.

Wu Huansheng and her daughter Wu Jianing are of the same ilk, sharing the same boldness and uninhibited nature; the way they pull off shrimp heads is quite like pulling off an enemy's head.

Mu Ansi was polite and proper, wearing gloves, and occasionally handed shrimp to the mother and daughter who didn't have time to peel them.

In contrast, Sangye and Rongcheng were much more "restrained." They each chose to remove the head and tail of the crayfish and then use chopsticks to push the whole piece of meat out from the tail. This requires fresh and firm crayfish; if the crayfish is slightly dead, the meat will break into pieces inside the shell, greatly reducing the taste.

The other person calmly folded the shrimp tail lengthwise along the shell, causing the shell on the back to split open and reveal the snow-white meat inside.

Lin Changli, on the other hand, was even more elegant. He was clean and smelled of shower gel. In front of him was a bowl of freshly cooked rice noodles. He didn't care at all about the group of gluttons around him who didn't care about their image. The housekeeping robot beside him was diligently peeling the only three sweet crayfish on the table for him. They were sweet and spicy, salted egg yolk, and lemon sour soup.

Lin Changli had already tasted one of each before they were even served. He raised an eyebrow with each bite, and his eyebrows rose higher and higher as he looked at Sang Ye with a questioning gaze: "Is this what you called sweet?"

Sangye touched his nose, not entirely without a straight face, and said, "If you don't add chili, you can't get rid of the fishy smell."

Lin Changli didn't say anything.

Sangye had already prepared the main course for the evening. The freshly made rice noodles were just right, mixed with crayfish broth and meat, along with a few blanched greens and a spoonful of sesame oil. It was steaming hot and nutritious.

Although Lin Changli showed a sweet tooth, he could actually accept eating spicy food, but he couldn't eat too much.

His lips and cheeks were flushed a faint red. The young man was handsome, his face as if powdered. Sangye glanced at him again and again, until Lin Changli cast a suspicious look at him.

Sang Ye withdrew his gaze with some regret; he wasn't even allowed to look at the male beauty.

Lin Changli had noticed her peeking gaze early on, but initially didn't take it seriously. However, she kept looking at him.

No one can be truly good-looking without realizing it, but it's hard to imagine someone peeking at you in an environment like the base just because you're good-looking.

The rice noodles, mixed with the spicy broth, are smooth yet chewy. The sour and spicy flavors are balanced, enhancing each other's characteristics, making the spicy even spicier and the sour even more sour.

He's not very good at handling spicy food, but it was so delicious that he could accept it.

In addition, the robot would occasionally pour a plate of shrimp into the bowl, and the combination of various flavors further diluted the spiciness.

Sangye shook his head. One of the great pleasures of eating crayfish is peeling them yourself. This person didn't put on airs when washing shrimp, but now he's putting on airs when eating crayfish.

Five adults and a little kid ate like crazy. They hadn't even had time to eat noodles yet, and they had already devoured nearly 50 or 60 pounds of lobster. The table was piled high with lobster shells.

And they all looked like they hadn't eaten enough.

Needless to say, the three sentinels have an "upper-level" appetite, and even when they could only drink nutrient solutions, they consumed more food than the average person.

Mu An and Sangye, having always developed into "combat-type" guides, also have an astonishing appetite.

Kuwano had the robot serve everyone a bowl of rice noodles, and each person scooped out the lobster broth they wanted to soak in.

After a hearty meal, there wasn't much left to share with the hospital.

Sangye simply packed some of it up for Wu Huansheng's family to take back as snacks.

The jarring ringing of the bell shattered the post-dinner tranquility, disrupting the moment of reflection. Kuwano's original plan also fell through.

Everyone present—except Lin Changli—saw a forced broadcast on their terminals. It was an urgent notification from the base's highest executive officer:

The indigenous people of the snow-capped mountains have rioted, the base has fallen, and Lieutenant General Keliu has led all the sentries stationed there to retreat urgently into the heart of the snow-capped mountains. There is currently no word from them! All military personnel except those stationed at the sub-base and the main base are hereby summoned to immediately proceed to the sub-base in the snow-capped mountains for support!
