Hearing this, Jin Suting swallowed the words she was about to say and said again: "Okay, next time."
Ah Lan nodded slightly and stood up. Yu Chenghao jumped to Ah Lan's side and winked playfully: "See you next time, Xiao Susu!"
Alan seemed to glance at him, just for a moment, then turned and left.
Yu Seung-ho hurried after him and whispered something into A-lan's ear. A-lan turned around and said to Helan Yinsheng, "The plaque has been hung, why don't you leave, Your Majesty?"
Helan Yinsheng said: "I'll be right there."
Why does it seem like the prince and Master Yu both listen to Alan?
Jin Suting felt that Yu Chenghao was Alan's little follower. It was not like what Yu Chenghao said before, that Alan was just a simple waiter.
His temperament and appearance clearly showed that he was a son of a noble family. However, Alan himself said that he was just a little palace maid.
"Miss, what are you thinking about?" Qin Er waved her hand in front of the dazed Jin Ting. "Everyone has gone far away, what are you still looking at?"
Jin Suting said: "Nothing, let's go back and finish work early today!"
Tan Er smiled and said, "Great! What would you like to eat today, Miss?"
Jin Suting shrugged and said, "What can we buy with our silver?"
Cao'er turned around and took the cash box, placing it between the two of them, looking at the few lonely copper coins lying quietly in the box. They both sighed at the same time. Qin'er said, "Miss, why don't I go to the kitchen in the mansion to see if there's anything else? They can't always be watching, right?" Jin Suting pursed her lips and said, "Is there no other way?"
Qin Er looked at it worriedly, shook the box, and said, "The total is less than ten cents. How can there be any other way..."
Jin Suting tilted her head and thought for a moment, then said, "Actually, we have a better way." Tan Er looked up and asked, "What is it?"
Jin Suting: "Do you remember? There's a river east of the city with really big fish in it!"
Tan Er yelled loudly: "Miss, you have to go to the river to catch fish!!"
Jin Suting grabbed Tan'er, covered her mouth with one hand, and whispered, "Shh! Keep your voice down! If someone hears and tells the Queen Mother, I'll be called into the palace again!"
Qin'er had her mouth covered, opened her eyes wide, and nodded silently.
Jin Suting finally let go and whispered, "Go back and tell Xiao Hei and Cao Cao first!"
Tan Er continued to nod: "Okay!"
——
General's Mansion.
Jin Suting and Qin Er shared some of the seasonings and took them home. The grill was too large, so they usually didn't move it around. As for the leftover ingredients, they definitely didn't leave them for the next day. They had some leftover beef and mutton, so they brought that back with them. There was very little left, not enough for four people, at most two portions.
So in the end they decided to go fishing in the river east of the city.
When the four of them set out, they met Lu Mingxian at the door. Jin Suting recognized him but didn't want to say hello. It was already late.
The sun is about to set, and it will be difficult to catch fish if you go too late.
Moreover, they had never met face to face, yet Lu Mingxian greeted her, walked straight over, and bowed to Jin Suting: "Miss Jin, my humble name is Lu Mingxian, and I am a former student of the old general."
Jin Suting was stunned for a moment. She didn't expect him to greet her. Out of politeness, she replied, "Yeah."
Lu Mingxian was a little embarrassed. He smiled, but Jin Suting was getting impatient. She was in a hurry to go fishing, so she asked, "Master Lu, is there anything else?"
Lu Mingxian thought for a moment before speaking: "I'm looking for Miss Jin Er, your sister."
When she heard it was Jin Xiwen, her face became even more tense. She said, "The door is over there. Please go in by yourself."
Lu Mingxian smiled again and said, "Of course I know that, but I just can't find her."
