She couldn't bear it during the first lap. It seemed that although her foundation was still there, it was almost gone.
At noon, the Ninth Prince's carriage stopped at the gate of the general's mansion on time.

"Okay." The Ninth Prince stood up and said goodbye to Mrs. Lu.
Jin Suting turned around and made a face towards Lu, which made her so angry that her teeth almost broke. Seeing that the prince was there, she couldn't lose her temper either, so she could only curse him inwardly for being rude.

In the carriage, Jin Suting dozed off with her chin propped up, her little head nodding like a chick pecking at rice.
The Ninth Prince suppressed his laughter and did not disturb her. Instead, he straightened her head when it was about to deviate from the support point of her neck, and then found a position that would make her feel comfortable to place her head.
The unfinished East and West Buildings were not far away. The General's Mansion was in the middle of West Street, and the East and West Buildings were at the intersection. It took about a quarter of an hour to get there by carriage.
Before getting off the car, Jin Suting still didn't wake up, and the Ninth Prince didn't call her. She just sat in the car with her eyes closed to rest.
Lai Fu, the servant outside, reminded the prince that they had arrived at the East and West Buildings, but the Ninth Prince said there was no rush and asked the horse to stop and rest for a while.
Lai Fu scratched his head. Shouldn't he take the horse to the stable to eat grass and drink water when letting it rest? He had raised horses for eight years, from the age of ten, and it had always been like this.
But he couldn't guess what the prince was thinking, so he had to keep quiet.
Two hours passed before Jin Ting woke up. She slept late last night and got up early this morning. She was not as energetic as a rooster.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw the Ninth Prince's smiling peach blossom eyes. Although they were enchanting eyes and his ruthless broken eyebrows, they always gave her a feeling of being bathed in spring breeze.
"Are you awake?"
The first thing Jin Suting did was to check if she was drooling. After making sure her face was clear, she opened the curtains and looked out at the golden streets. She asked in surprise, "How long have I slept?"
The Ninth Prince's smile widened. "Not long, two hours."
"Two hours isn't enough?!" Jin Suting was so anxious that she jumped up and down. It's already been four hours!
"I'm sorry, Your Highness, I've wasted your time again." Jin Suting felt more guilty because he had indulged her too much.
"No need to delay. You look very beautiful when you sleep." The Ninth Prince raised the corner of his mouth.
