Chapter 166 Little Lotus Seed Travels Through the Original Drama (The End)
Qing'er said softly, "Alright, we should go now."
Li Lianhua gently put Xiao Lianzi down, his eyes filled with reluctance. Xiao Lianzi raised his head and smiled at him, "Take care, Father." Li Lianhua smiled and nodded.
Qing'er and Li Xiangyi nodded to Li Lianhua and Di Feisheng, and then disappeared from the spot in an instant.
Li Lianhua gazed in the direction they had left, a hint of melancholy in his eyes. Di Feisheng, watching him silently for a moment, said, "Let's go, they're all gone." It's a pity they couldn't fight, but it's alright, there's still Li Xiangyi.
Li Lianhua came to her senses and sighed softly.
He and Di Feisheng walked back side by side, neither of them speaking a word the whole way, only the rustling of the wind through the leaves.
As they walked, Di Feisheng suddenly asked, "Do you think... they will show up?" He looked somewhat uneasy after saying that.
Upon hearing this, Li Lianhua immediately stopped and looked at Di Feisheng, then raised an eyebrow meaningfully.
When Li Lianhua stopped, Di Feisheng also stopped. Seeing that Li Lianhua was only staring at him without saying a word, he frowned and said, "What are you looking at? Speak if you have something to say."
Li Lianhua chuckled lightly, "Alliance Leader Di, I never expected you to have such anticipation. What, are you hoping that girl will appear?"
Di Feisheng seemed to have his secret exposed, his ears turning slightly red. He turned his head away and stubbornly said, "Who was expecting that? I was just asking casually." He was simply curious about what kind of person had made him change so much.
Li Lianhua didn't expose him and continued walking forward, saying as she went, "He might suddenly appear one day. When that happens, Alliance Leader Di, don't get too excited and scare him."
Di Feisheng snorted coldly, "What could I possibly be excited about?" Though he said this, he secretly felt a little expectant. The two bickered as they walked towards the Lotus Pavilion.
Three years passed in a flash. During these three years, Li Lianhua spent the rest of his time traveling and cultivating with the fox spirit in his Lotus Pavilion, intervening in injustices whenever he encountered them. Di Feisheng would occasionally come to meet with Li Lianhua, and incidentally, they would have a fight. (Li Lianhua: What do you mean, incidentally? He's clearly here to fight.)
One day, Li Lianhua came across a hot spring in a mountain and decided to soak in it. He had just taken off his clothes and soaked in the water for a while when suddenly a blue shadow fell rapidly from the sky and then crashed into the water with a bang.
What was that? Because it was going too fast, Li Lianhua didn't see what it was at all. Then he stared warily at the water not far ahead.
However, he soon lowered his guard and then froze. A woman in a light blue dress emerged from the water, her eyes filled with confusion. She muttered, "That damned Heavenly Dao! It just dumped me here without a word, without even a warning. No manners at all!" After muttering, she began to observe her surroundings. Seeing Li Lianhua beside her, her eyes lit up. "You're Li Lianhua, right?" Before Li Lianhua could answer, she asked with some doubt, "Didn't Heavenly Dao say you were having a terrible time and needed my help? But you don't look like you're having a terrible time." Her face was rosy and she was even enjoying a soak in the hot spring—how could she look like she was having a terrible time?
Li Lianhua snapped out of his daze, taking a slightly uneasy step back. He avoided Qing'er's gaze, but still managed to say, "Miss, I am indeed Li Lianhua." He paused, a hint of a smile flashing in his eyes, before speaking softly, "My life has truly been miserable. I only have my master's wife left, who was betrayed and poisoned by someone I considered a brother's friend. My childhood friend, my senior brother, is also a bad person; he wanted to kill me and even caused the death of my master who raised me. So, I've suffered terribly." His face paled as he finished speaking, looking utterly pitiful. (Li Lianhua: I really have suffered terribly.)
Qing'er looked at him with sympathy and said, "That's terrible, but don't worry, I'll protect you from now on."
Hearing Qing'er's words, Li Lianhua was secretly delighted, but on the surface she pretended to be pitiful and said, "Then thank you very much, Miss." Qing'er patted her chest, looking very proud.
From then on, Qing'er stayed by Li Lianhua's side. Only after being tricked and taken away did she belatedly realize that she had been tricked from the beginning, but she was willing to do so.
