Chapter 2 Cultivation

Chapter 2 Cultivation

Qing'er rummaged through her memories again and finally remembered why everyone had stopped cultivating. Knowing the reason, she felt speechless.

Others don't know why they don't cultivate, but the sisters don't cultivate because it's too boring and too hard. They don't want to suffer, so they don't cultivate. Anyway, they are princesses of the Heavenly Court, and no one does anything to them, so they can just eat, drink, and have fun every day.

I guess the gods in Heaven think the same way. Anyway, nothing major has happened, and frankly, things are just too peaceful.

Qing'er clicked her tongue helplessly, thinking to herself that this wouldn't do. With her current skills, she wouldn't be able to handle anything, like the Yin Shi King later on.

Thinking of this, she sat up straight and stood up, which surprised Greenie, who was watering the flowers next to her. Greenie said, "Fifth Sister, what are you doing? Why are you so startled?"

"What's wrong?" The other sisters looked over as well. Qing'er cleared her throat and said seriously, "Sisters, we can't keep doing this, just eating, drinking, and having fun every day. If something happens, our abilities won't be enough."

The sisters looked at each other in bewilderment. Greenie was the first to react, frowning as she said, "Fifth Sister, cultivation is so arduous, why make things harder for yourself?"

"Yes, Fifth Sister, why do you always do things on a whim?" Huang'er muttered.

"Fifth Sister, why don't you cultivate with Second Sister? Second Sister likes cultivating." Lan'er looked at Qing'er and said with difficulty, she didn't want to cultivate at all. Zi'er, who was next to her, also nodded.

"I think Fifth Sister's suggestion is great. There's nothing wrong with cultivation." Cheng'er didn't care. She cultivated for a while every day anyway. Of course, it's not that she liked cultivation, it's just that it was too boring. So she cultivated a little, which was better than her other sisters.

"No, no, I think we're doing just fine right now. What's wrong with eating, drinking, and having fun every day? Why suffer like that?"

Qing'er became anxious: "Sisters, if we really get to a critical moment, without strong magic power, we won't even be able to protect ourselves."

"Where would there be any danger in Heaven?"

“Yes, yes!” The other sisters also began to whisper among themselves.

Seeing her sisters like this, Qing'er knew it was pointless to reason with them; they were used to this kind of life. Fine, she'd go to the library to see if there were any cultivation techniques, and then she could start practicing.

"Fifth Sister (Fifth Sister), where are you going?" Seeing her walk out, the others stopped discussing and asked.

Qing'er waved her hand without saying anything. The sisters looked at each other, then dispersed to do their own thing.

Qing'er arrived at the library, where books were piled high like mountains. She searched through them for a suitable cultivation technique, reading one after another until her eyes were almost tired. Finally, she found a seemingly profound and mysterious manual, its surface shimmering with a faint light. As soon as Qing'er opened it, a flash of light appeared, and the words on the manual began to arrange and combine on their own, forming a cultivation mantra. Qing'er was overjoyed and quickly returned to the Fairy Pavilion to cultivate in seclusion. She closed the door, hung a sign indicating she was cultivating, sat cross-legged, and began to cultivate according to the mantra.

The cultivation process was far more difficult than she had imagined; each circulation of spiritual energy felt like climbing a steep mountain. But thinking of the danger brought by the Yin Erosion King, Qing'er gritted her teeth and persevered. Time passed slowly, and Qing'er gradually grasped some of the tricks. Spiritual energy was clearly present within her body. Just as she was immersed in the joy of cultivation, time flew by.
