Chapter 24 Cabbage

Chapter 24 Cabbage

"So why is she going to see him again?" Qing'er's lips twitched slightly after hearing this. It turned out that after Qing'er left in anger that day, Huang'er regretted saying those words and was sullen for two days. Then she went out for a walk and soon encountered Jinzha passing by. Everyone in the Heavenly Court knew that among the princesses, the Third Princess had a bit of a temper. It was obvious that the Third Princess was in a bad mood that day, so Jinzha decided to go around her and turned back.

But Huang'er still saw him. She was already in a bad mood, and when she saw Jinzha see her and try to turn around and leave without saying hello, her temper flared up instantly. "Stop!" Jinzha pretended not to hear and continued walking. "Jinzha, you stop right there!" Hearing his name called, she felt embarrassed to pretend not to hear anymore, so she turned around, cupped her hands, and said, "Greetings, Third Princess."

Huang'er stormed up to him angrily. "Why didn't you stop when I called you so many times?"

Jinzha asked expressionlessly, "Is there something you need, Third Princess?"

"You..." Huang'er became even angrier when she saw his deadpan face.

"If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now." With that, he turned and walked away.

"You damned Jinzha, come back here!" Huang'er jumped up and down in anger as she watched him walk away.

Lan'er sighed, "I don't know what Third Sister is thinking? Ever since that day, she's been at odds with Jinzha, constantly causing him trouble." As she spoke, she suddenly slapped her forehead, her eyes shining, "Fifth Sister, I understand! Could it be that Third Sister has taken a liking to Jinzha?"

Qing'er was taken aback at first, then gave her an appreciative look. "That's possible. Third Sister is always so energetic and decisive, why would she hold a grudge against Jinzha?"

Over here, Huang'er once again cornered Jinzha. "Jinzha, you must play chess with this princess today." Jinzha frowned slightly, about to refuse, when Huang'er put her hands on her hips, glared at him and said, "You dare not obey?" Jinzha had no choice but to agree.

During the chess game, Huang'er deliberately cheated, taking back moves one after another, and moving her pieces around. Jinzha remained expressionless, but a barely perceptible smile flickered in his eyes. When the game ended, Huang'er won and proudly tilted her head back. Jinzha, watching her, unconsciously smiled. Huang'er was dazzled by his smile, stunned. Coming to her senses, she quickly ran away, saying, "I have something to do, I'm leaving now." Their relationship had undergone some changes over the past few days through these interactions.

In the Fairy Pavilion, Lan'er and Qing'er were chatting about their third sister when they suddenly thought of their eldest sister, Hong'er. After Lan'er figured out what happened to her third sister, it was as if she had suddenly realized something, and she immediately thought of her eldest sister and the God of Food. "Fifth sister, you said that eldest sister often goes to the God of Food's place. Could it be that she is also..." She looked at Qing'er with bright eyes.

"What happened between eldest sister and the God of Cookery?" Before Qing'er could answer, Huang'er returned. As soon as she came back, she heard Lan'er talking about what happened between eldest sister and the God of Cookery.

When Huang'er came in and found Qing'er there, she suddenly felt a little lost, remembering the unpleasant incident from before.

"Third Sister" Qing'er and the others greeted them.

Huang'er spoke somewhat awkwardly, "Fifth Sister is back?" Then she said hesitantly, "I'm sorry."

Qing'er found it somewhat amusing, knowing that she was apologizing for what had happened before. It was the first time she had ever seen her third sister so hesitant.

She smiled and took Huang'er's hand: "It's okay, I'm not angry anymore. It's just that Lan'er is wondering if eldest sister has fallen for the God of Cookery." Qing'er didn't want to dwell on this, so she changed the subject.

Upon hearing this, Huang'er's eyes lit up, and her previous embarrassment instantly vanished: "That's quite possible. Every time my eldest sister comes back from the God of Cookery, she's in a particularly good mood."

Lan'er said excitedly, "Right, right? I told you I was right." Huang'er became interested and took Qing'er and Lan'er's arms, "We have to help our eldest sister so that she and the God of Food can become a couple." Lan'er nodded in agreement, "Okay, let's think about how to help."

"You guys should stop making wild guesses. You might end up making things worse. Just let things take their course." Qing'er didn't want to help outsiders steal her own cabbage.
