Chapter 69, "Jade Pavilion Spring" (End)
Qing'er instantly appeared in Yu Lou Chun's room, embracing Li Lianhua. Actually, she didn't need a flying vehicle; she could have teleported with Li Lianhua. The first two times, Li Lianhua had been unconscious when she carried him, but when he was awake, he was too shy to just hug her directly. This time, however, she had come to understand her feelings, so it didn't matter to her anymore.
Li Lianhua was stunned by her sudden hug.
"Ahem, let's get down to business. When they arrived, Yu Louchun was still surrounded by women on either side. Startled by the sudden appearance of the two people, he pushed them away, sat up straight, and after recognizing them, a look of amazement flashed in his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure. 'Who are you? Why are you suddenly in my room?' Although they were beautiful, he wasn't stupid. These two people who appeared out of nowhere were definitely not to be trifled with."
The girls nearby huddled together in fear. But deep down, they also felt a sense of anticipation, hoping that the two of them would kill Yulouchun.
Qing'er snorted coldly, "The people who came to kill you." After saying that, she prepared to make her move.
Li Lianhua, who had just come to his senses, quickly stopped her, saying, "Qing'er, don't get your hands dirty, I'll do it." He pulled the young master out and stepped forward.
Yu Louchun was startled. Young Master? This is Li Xiangyi? He had seen Li Xiangyi once before from afar. He felt that the man looked familiar at first, but he just couldn't remember. Actually, it wasn't his fault. Although Li Lianhua's appearance hadn't changed, his temperament and everything else were quite different from the previous Li Xiangyi, so it was normal that he didn't recognize him at first.
Yu Louchun's mind was now filled with only two thoughts: "It's all over." He took several steps back, looking at Li Lianhua with a terrified expression, and said, "Sect Leader Li... I know I was wrong, please let me go." As he spoke, he kept glancing towards the door.
Qing'er said meaningfully, "Are you stalling for time, hoping someone outside will come in to rescue you? With such a commotion, no one has come in. Haven't you noticed something's wrong?" She had cast a barrier around the room from the beginning. Although they weren't afraid, she didn't want the trouble. She scanned the area with her divine sense and found that many people were being controlled. So she wouldn't let anyone in. After dealing with Yu Louchun, she would clean up those who had done evil, and then detoxify and let the rest of the innocent ones leave.
Yu Louchun had a bad feeling and asked tremblingly, "What...what...do you mean?"
Qing'er didn't want to waste any more words on a dead man, so she fell silent. Li Lianhua's sword flashed, a cold light streaking across its blade, aimed directly at Yu Louchun's throat, and he instantly collapsed.
A girl came out from the side and rushed up to punch and kick the dead Yu Louchun. When the other girls saw that Qing'er and the others did not stop them, they also mustered up their courage and rushed up, hitting and crying at the same time.
Qing'er sighed inwardly. Well, at least she could vent her anger.
Li Lianhua turned and left. Qing'er knew what he was going to do, so she didn't follow him; with his skills, nothing would happen to him.
Less than half an hour later, Li Lianhua returned, still radiating a cold light and exuding a sharp aura. Clearly, she hadn't had time to conceal her sharpness.
As he approached Qing'er, his imposing aura instantly vanished. Looking at Qing'er, he said softly, "Those outside have all been dealt with." He had killed all the evildoers, except for a dozen or so who hadn't done anything particularly bad, and those girls were the only ones left.
Qing'er gave him an approving look. Li Lianhua's face instantly flushed with joy, like a child who had received candy. If she had a tail, it would probably wag so fast it would leave afterimages.
Qing'er's heart softened when she saw him like this.
Just then, the girls that Qing'er had asked to gather everyone arrived.
They all crowded around, their eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you both, heroes, for avenging us. If it weren't for you, we don't know when we would have escaped this misery," a young woman said, tears welling in her eyes. Qing'er smiled and comforted her, "It's all in the past now. You must live well from now on. There's a lot of money here; keep it and live a good life. This is enough for the rest of your days."
"Yes, we will." All the girls nodded, their eyes filled with gratitude as they looked at Qing'er and the others.
"We're leaving now, ladies, take care!" With that, Qing'er and Li Lianhua vanished in a flash.
