Chapter 201 Playing with fire? Waiting for your brother / I can handle it.

Li Changzhou simply couldn't understand what the jellyfish was thinking.

He just wanted to see what it was, but the jellyfish attacked him—although he struck first, it was the jellyfish that first showed hostility.

"Maybe we have the same goal!"

The dappled sunlight filtering through the trees created tiny, floating spots of light that darted through the woods. Li Changzhou flashed past in the fleeting shadows.

"Burn it! Damn it!" Bi pulled the lollipop out of her mouth, making a "pop" sound.

She smacked her lips, savoring the rich sweetness in her mouth, and then put the lollipop back in.

"It's one thing for you to swear in front of me, but if you run into Miss Yang, you'd better watch your mouth."

Bi scoffed dismissively, "I'm afraid of her?! Let her come!"

Several specks of light blocked the way, and very thin whips extended from the specks of light, lashing towards Li Changzhou.

With a flash of emerald light, Li Changzhou rushed past. Behind him, the few specks of light flew forward a distance due to inertia, before suddenly disintegrating into even more specks of light that were almost invisible to the naked eye.

Li Changzhou scanned the area and found the carriage in the forest. The next moment, he had already climbed inside.

"Get up there!" he commanded like a captain.

The green tongue wrapped around the lollipop that had been popped twice, and the carriage burst out of the green shade, floating high in the air. The metal of the carriage reflected the dazzling sunlight, almost becoming a point of light.

Li Changzhou's eyes turned red as his gaze fell on an elm tree.

call!

The heatwave from the flames made the elm tree look like a lit candle.

The red eyes went out, and the flames spread out, like a pair of upright chips suddenly scattering, or like an upside-down bottle of mineral water whose cap was simply unscrewed.

The raging fire, with unstoppable force, conquered and ravaged the forest.

Rows of flames rolled and surged, like a greedy beast devouring everything flammable.

The jellyfish-like points of light crashed and shattered, evaporated, and disappeared one after another in the flames.

"It's so hot." Bi fanned herself, her delicate, doll-like mouth open.

Inside the carriage, the perceived temperature was at least 60 degrees Celsius.

Li Changzhou stretched out his right hand and squeezed it. The boiling heat wave stopped instantly. Instead of spreading, it turned into venomous snakes, darting through the forest and chasing the escaping light.

Fiery snakes hunted and chased each other in the forest.

All the points of light converged and condensed into a jellyfish, which was then washed away by the waterfall of fire and disappeared without a trace.

A white ID card fell out.

With a flick of her little finger, the identity card flew into her hand like an arrow.

Li Changzhou mustered his last bit of strength, waved his hand, and flames burst out of the forest. He then plopped down on a chair inside the carriage.

His entire body was emitting white mist, as if a machine were overloaded.

Manipulating this flame was nothing to him; what truly made him lose his footing was his vampire bloodline.

Even with the ring and the carriage providing shade from the scorching sun, the high temperature still left him exhausted.

Despite having a constitution classified as "off-limits," in the stuffy train carriage, he was even worse off than the average person.

The fact that he could persevere until he killed the jellyfish and threw the flames out of the forest shows that his willpower was as hard as iron and his moral character was comparable to that of a forest ranger.

"Are you alright?" Bi asked worriedly. Li Changzhou was almost completely enveloped in white mist, looking as if he might spontaneously combust at any moment, which was frightening to look at.

Li Changzhou waved his hand weakly.

"I'll find a shady spot, you just have to bear with it!"

If Li Changzhou were in a good mood, he would definitely complain, as if he were about to urinate in the carriage, but now he is too lazy to even think.

It shot out like a spaceship, heading towards Edison's research institute.

Flames surged from the forest with a whoosh, like a sudden flood.

"Watch out!" The old witcher's face contorted in a grimace, his eyes instantly turning bloodshot.

Flames surged like waves, their scorching heat licking everything in their path.

They ran, rolled, and roared, like an army that had been lying in ambush for a long time, stirring up heat waves, hurricanes, and tsunamis, flattening everything in their way!

Yang Qinglan's pure, snow-lotus-like face changed, her black pearl-like eyes turned into azure sapphires, and the carriage suddenly plummeted into the sky.

"ah!

"The little nun screamed."

Yang Qinglan rushed out of the carriage and, in the instant the flames licked at her, cut the ropes binding her to the horse.

"Jump up!" she yelled at the witchers.

But it was too late.

The flames roared and came on very fast, like a raging orange-red whirlwind.

coax!

A sound like a flood washing over everything, heat waves crashing across the ground, the Witcher roaring and turning into charred remains.

Yang Qinglan stared at the forest with a grim expression.

She didn't care about these newly acquainted witchers, but with one of them dead, the next mission would be even more difficult.

Her eyes suddenly lit up, and she stepped into the carriage.

After a moment, a smooth recitation and a hesitant, stumbling recitation echoed in the carriage.

Yang Qinglan stepped out of the car again, the Gospel book appearing in her fair, jade-like hands.

"The Lord says, 'When they lie in ambush, they shed their own blood; when they lie in wait, they bring about their own demise.'"

Time seemed to stand still, then slowly reversed, and the flames suddenly gathered and flew towards a point in the sky.

The dying witchers, one by one, seemed to rewind like scenes from a movie, turning from charred remains back to their original state.

"Lan!" Li Qianxia opened the carriage door and stepped out, almost forgetting to pay attention to how she addressed him.

Yin Simei also came out.

She jumped off the rising carriage, rolled a few times on the ground to dissipate the impact, and quickly ran to the stunned witchers lying on the ground to check their injuries.

"Where are the enemies?" Li Qianxia looked around.

“No.” Yang Qinglan gazed thoughtfully at the forest. “It’s the aftermath of the battle.”
