Chapter 339 Star Destroyers: The Foundation of Cooperation

Stepping out of the teleportation vortex, one is greeted by a vast blue sea and sky, with a three-masted ship slowly sailing beneath one's feet.

Li Changzhou and his three companions landed on the deck, where a group of people surrounded them. They had shaved heads and wore kimonos, indicating that it was a Japanese ship.

"It's getting easier and easier to be a bandit, with such scum coming to our doorstep." A samurai chuckled as he stepped forward.

Glug glug, its head rolled a long way off the deck.

"Pfft!" Blood gushed out of the samurai's neck like a fountain.

"Baka yarou!" The katana was drawn, its cold light flashing.

Puff! Puff! Puff! Puff!

The deck quickly turned red. Li Changzhou sheathed his Emerald Bee Sword, slightly out of breath, and sat on the deck, holding onto the mast.

Yang Qinglan helped him up, and after he sat down, she took out the pills and carefully fed them to him.

“You guys—” Li Qianxia took two steps forward.

Before she could speak, a sharp arrow pierced through the crowd, trailing a trail of light, and shot towards her brow.

roar!

A dozen or so mad dogs with two heads leaped out of the crowd, jumped off the mast, and popped out of the deck, swarming towards the four men.

"call!"

A fierce wind blew, and the two-headed dogs were blown away one by one. Those on the deck could still scratch the ground with their claws, plowing claw marks on the deck to stabilize themselves. Those that were in the air simply disappeared into the horizon.

"Ah! Help!" The Japanese clung to the cargo containers and ropes, being blown by the wind as if they were hanging on a cliff, parallel to the deck.

Like a sharp arrow carrying a glint of light, it struggled against the wind for a moment, like a fish swimming upstream, before finally losing its strength and being blown away without a trace.

Li Qianxia finished spitting out in one breath, without her face turning red or her breath coming in short gasps.

“You,” she continued, amidst the sounds of people falling and the two-headed dog landing, “pretend nothing happened, pretend you didn’t see anything, go wherever you wanted to go, go there now, do you hear me?”

“I heard it, I heard it!” someone who understood the Song language quickly replied.

Li Qianxia looked over: "Han Chinese?"

"Yes, yes, I am Han Chinese!" The man brushed his wind-blown hair aside, revealing his facial features.

laugh!

The man's eyes were burned through from front to back, and everyone watched in horror as Li Qianxia's burning eyes gradually died down.

"Traitorous dog," Li Qianxia cursed, turning to look at the crowd. "Who else is Han Chinese?"

Her brother was seriously injured and she couldn't help him at all. When she saw that this guy was actually helping the Japanese to plunder the Song people, she was so angry that she was consumed by rage.

The ship was completely silent. You could tell at a glance whether someone was Han Chinese or not; those who hadn't shaved their heads were basically Han Chinese.

Li Qianxia glared at these people, but did not kill them.

"Set sail!" she instructed, turning to walk towards Li Changzhou, then suddenly turning back, "Mop the floor first!"

The bodies were thrown into the sea to feed the fish, and the blood on the deck was washed clean. The Japanese even listened to a little tune, all to achieve the "nonsense" requirement that Li Qianxia had given them.

"How is my brother?" Li Qianxia asked Yang Qinglan.

"Fortunately, although Guanyin's power is troublesome, it should be dispelled in about one night," Yang Qinglan replied.

The Heavenly Fiend of Yaochi transformed into a palm-sized bluebird, circling above Li Changzhou's head and scattering specks of light that continuously dissolved the aura of disaster.

As long as there is this bluebird, even if there is only one breath left, it can continue to live for another ten or twenty years, provided that Yaochi is willing to expend her magic power.

“Man proposes, God disposes,” she sighed as she maintained the Bluebird. “Your brother’s method was excellent, with emotional manipulation and encouragement, it should have been foolproof, but I never expected that the Tiger-Taming Arhat would know him.”

Although it's unclear what use their trust in Guanyin is, the fact that Guanyin needs these people proves they must be useful.

Failure now may become an obstacle in the future.

"Man proposes, God disposes. We have done our best, and there's nothing we can do if we fail," Yang Qinglan said.

Yaochi nodded.

"I never expected an Earth Immortal to be so strong," Li Qianxia said, still a little frightened. "Even my brother couldn't withstand a single palm strike from him."

The two shared the same feeling.

When they fought the Arhat, although he was strong, they believed they were confident of victory in a one-on-one fight. However, Guanyin Bodhisattva intervened and with one palm strike, the four of them were reduced to stray dogs.

Even Li Changzhou, the strongest among them, couldn't withstand a single palm strike from the opponent.

“Guanyin Bodhisattva cannot represent Earth Immortals,” Yang Qinglan pondered for a moment. “She is one of the four great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism and one of the most likely to become a Buddha. Her strength is also among the top of Earth Immortals.”

“This also proves one thing,” Yaochi said, “that we have quite a few helpers, and they are quite strong.”

"Should we go find those people next?" Li Qianxia asked.

"Um."

As evening approached, the large ship cleaved through the waves, its wake resembling a white apron.

The setting sun in the west is like melting gold, making the entire sea seem to be covered with a layer.

Yaochi and Yang Qinglan sat cross-legged, recovering their magical powers. Beneath them were clusters of rosy light, as beautiful as an oil painting.

Li Qianxia sat atop the tall mast, dressed in a red dress, her legs dangling, on guard duty.

She looked down at Li Changzhou, who was meditating with his eyes closed. The sea breeze was blowing his long, ancient-style hair, and half of his face was dyed red by the setting sun, making him look as handsome as a god.

She noticed that her complexion was better than during the day.

Suddenly, the sky darkened.

Li Qianxia raised her head.

Yang Qinglan and Yaochi opened their eyes at the same time.

The three-masted ship beneath them was already a behemoth in the Song Dynasty, but before them—it was as if a soybean had rolled next to a watermelon. Such an exaggeratedly large ship was so close to the three-masted ship.

For the ancient people on the three-masted ship, it was as if they had seen a god.
