The battle reached a stalemate.
The tension and fear hadn't subsided; they had merely shifted from wildness to composure, like a wisp of smoke swirling in the heart, making it impossible to find peace.
"Brother, I'm so thirsty," Li Qianxia said.
“The urine that was just urinated is sterile.” Li Changzhou kept a close eye on the sniper’s direction to prevent him from sneaking around to another location.
"I heard that 90% of blood is water," the younger sister said weakly.
Li Changzhou raised his voice and shouted at the sniper, "Little cutie, you can't stay there forever! Someone will come looking for you when they hear gunfire, hurry up and leave!"
"Bang!"
“This guy is dead.” Li Changzhou pulled back and adjusted to a comfortable lying position. “I have many good qualities, but I don’t have the virtue of repaying evil with kindness.”
“It’s dangerous for us to stay in the same place all the time. I have an idea,” Yang Qinglan said thoughtfully.
"What's the solution?" The brother and sister looked at her.

Suddenly, all three swallowed hard, not because of the flag, but because of a series of explosions that came from not far away.
The rumbling sound was like giants running through the forest.
Flames and smoke erupted suddenly, surging towards this side like a tide from the gaps between the trees.
"Lie down!" Li Changzhou shouted.
The three men fell face down in the trench, and for a moment, sand, stones, mud, and branches flew around them like rain, hitting their backs.
As soon as the rumbling subsided, the three of them looked up and saw a person wearing a homemade, crude ghillie suit, carrying a sniper rifle, jump into the trench.
The man jumped into the trench, crouched to reduce the impact, and then, still crouching, raised his gun to aim at the three men.
Yang Qinglan's clear eyes instantly turned blue and were also fixed on this person.
Gravity shift.
The ghillie suit suddenly lurched to the left, then he flailing his arms and legs, instinctively dropping his gun and grabbing the ground as if he had lost his footing and fallen off a cliff.
"Baby, I love you!" Regardless of whether the other person was male or female, Li Changzhou raised his hand, splashing mud into their eyes, and then got up and kicked them in the crotch.
"Ugh!" The ghillie suit emitted a painful howl from the man.
