Chapter 324 Li Qianxia's Hospitality

The space shuttle landed smoothly on the lunar surface. The airfield was cleaned up, and apart from lunar dust, there were no craters or rocks.

Outside the porthole, staff in spacesuits were guiding the aircraft to slowly adjust its angle so that the aircraft's exit could be directly connected to the entrance to the lunar city, eliminating the need for a transitional airlock.

"That person flew up!"

"Duh, it's gravity!"

"I want to go out and play! I really want to go out and play!"

"I heard there's another race the next day! Let's see who drives the fastest then!"

It wasn't just the group of Japanese high school students who started shouting; many first-time visitors to the moon also pressed their faces against the portholes, their expressions excited and thrilled.

Soon, an announcement came over the loudspeaker that the space shuttle had successfully docked with the lunar city, and everyone began to disembark one by one.

"Many videos online say there's a rural-style narrator holding a megaphone, but I can't see any?" Zhou Ying asked, peeking around from her seat before it was her turn.

“We were on the space shuttle in Japan,” Zheng Qing reminded her.

"Oh right, I forgot about that." Zhou Ying nodded repeatedly, her eyes fixed on the exit, wondering how long it would take before it was her turn.

Although there was no narration via megaphone, the spacecraft's broadcasts continuously provided information about the moon.

"...Lunar rocks look very similar to Earth rocks, but they are actually quite different. Compared to Earth rocks, the Moon is very lacking in volatile elements that can form rocks, such as potassium."

"...indicates that there was once a liquid magma ocean on the lunar surface that was at least several hundred kilometers deep."

Finally, it was Zheng Qing and Zhou Ying's turn to be broadcast over, even though no one was listening to it.

After getting off the plane, there was a long glass tube, and outside the tube was the living moon!

The nearby dust and distant hills reflect the sunlight, sometimes so brightly that it's almost blinding.

But in the dark, or in the shadows, the darkness is denser than on Earth. According to a little-known fact mentioned on the radio, this is because without air, there is no scattering of light.

The passageway was lined with people taking photos, many of them elderly, because an advertisement, whether true or false, claimed that the moon's gravity was very beneficial to arthritis sufferers.

Whether it's true or not, I don't know. After all, the advertisement says that getting married on the moon is true love (so, does that mean it's not true love on Earth? Has there never been true love on Earth?).

The Japanese school teacher repeatedly urged his students to hurry up and not cause trouble for the tourists, but the high school students continued to take pictures.

"Teacher, I'm going to take a picture, cheese!"

"No, we can't—"

"Time to film!"

"—cheese!"

Zheng Qing walked past the teachers who had joined the students. Zhou Ying took selfies as she walked. After all, she was a working adult. If she acted like a disobedient student and lingered in the same place, she would not only be unlovable, but would also be reprimanded by Zheng Qing, who was her superior.

Once you receive a low evaluation, you're considered careless, making it difficult to get promoted and access more resources.

"Look at Earth!"

A sudden uproar erupted in the passageway.

Zhou Ying immediately recalled a scene from a movie where the protagonist landed on the moon, and then the Earth exploded.

She turned around immediately, and after looking, she hurriedly pulled Zheng Qing beside her, saying, "Sister Qing, Sister Qing!"

On the day the Moon City opened, Zheng Qing received an invitation from Li Qianxia. She had been there once before, and with a life-or-death matter on her mind, she wasn't really interested. But after Zhou Ying pulled her along, she turned around and took a look.

The Earth, resembling a blue glass bead, did not explode, but was shrouded in colorful, gauze-like substances, as if a cosmic jellyfish had wrapped the Earth in its skirt.

The light rippled, like a giant jellyfish dancing in sync with the rhythm of the ocean.

There are immortals gathering vital energy.

Li Changzhou is not here, Li Qianxia is on the moon, is it Yang Qinglan, or Yaochi? Or is it both of them?

Zheng Qing glanced at Earth with a mixture of awe and envy before looking away.

"Let's go."

"Sister Qing, is that Qi Hui? Is the Earth going to explode?"

With the strength of the third level of the visualization method, one is not qualified to know information about immortals, but Zhou Ying is different. The logistics team believes that she has great potential and intends to cultivate her, so they let her follow Zheng Qing, which is why she knows some inside information about immortals.

Upon entering the lunar city, one is greeted by a large lake, spanned by a bridge connecting the Earth and the Moon. Across the lake lies 'Moon City'—what Earthlings call it, which has gradually become its official name.

"Pfft!" A giant beast sprayed water into the sky, and a magnificent rainbow appeared on the lake.

Zhou Ying was busy taking photos, but she managed to ask, "Sister Qing, where's Li Qianxia?"

"She has guests today and is with them, so let us go directly over there."

"Okay, I've read the guide. We'll ride the Sand Beast, shasha—"

Before Zhou Ying could finish speaking, Zheng Qing rented a small flying car, which was the most free of the various modes of transportation.

"Flying cars, that's fine too, it'll be more free. Let's go check out the lake later."

boom!

The flying car plunged directly into the high-rise buildings and dense jungle of Moon City.

Zhou Ying looked at the sand beasts walking on the Earth Moon Bridge, the crescent-shaped boats and sea beasts on the lake, and was so jealous she almost cried.

When the flying car stopped at the landing platform on the 25th floor of a building, Zhou Ying, who had been crying and making a fuss the whole way, looked at her phone and saw that all the photos inside were just muddy blocks of color.

"Are you here for tourism?" Zheng Qing asked.

"When we came, it was Sister Qing who said to treat this as a vacation!" Zhou Ying said matter-of-factly.

"...You actually took it seriously."

The two parked their flying car and went inside the building. The 25th floor was an arcade where all sorts of immersive games could be played.
