Chapter 443 Fate

Second, the previous level was even more intense;

Third, as the surviving players become familiar with the game rules, they will stop at nothing to kill other players in the same game once they gain an advantage.

As the countdown reached its end, Li Changzhou clasped his left hand together, put away the "Rooted in the Ground" item, and disappeared from the bubble.

"General! General! Wake up!"

Li Changzhou opened his eyes and saw three soldiers in military uniforms, covered in blood, standing in front of him.

He sat with his back against a tree, a warhorse bowing its head to his hand, the wind blowing, the tree's shade swaying like the sea.

The clouds on the horizon outlined characters.

[Level: Battlefield of Fate]

[Completion Conditions: Faced with fate, will you run away? Resist? Or give up? Regardless of your choice, the player starts with 10 points of determination; falling below this point results in immediate elimination.]

"General! The enemy is here!"

The clouds returned to their leisurely shape. Li Changzhou withdrew his gaze and looked into the distance, where an army of several hundred men was galloping from the east.

Li Changzhou slowly stood up and patted the grass seeds off his buttocks.

He spat out the grass root in his mouth and asked, "What's going on?"

"General! We've been separated!" a young soldier stepped forward and said, "Now there are only the three of us and the general left. General, let's fight them!"

"Fight? With just the four of us?" The middle-aged soldier's face darkened. "General, let's run! As long as we're alive, we have nothing to fear—"

"Escape?!" the young soldier shouted. "We are the invincible Blood Warriors. Even if we are defeated, each of us is a man who can take on a hundred men. You want to escape?"

The young soldier clasped his hands and looked at Li Changzhou: "General, as long as you give the order, I will charge into the enemy lines alone right now!"

“They can only fight against a hundred men. These few hundred men are just a scout squad. If they discover us, it means that tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of troops are coming to surround us!” the middle-aged soldier said.

"At worst, I'll die!" the young soldier said, his neck held high.

Li Changzhou sized up the three men in front of him: a twenty-year-old youth who was determined to fight to the death, a forty-year-old man who advocated for escape, and a silent old soldier.

He smiled.

This arrangement is really interesting. Is it a manifestation of three ways of facing fate?

"What's your opinion?" Li Changzhou asked the veteran.

The old soldier smoked his pipe.

"Old Zhao!" the young soldier urged.

Old Zhao then seemed to snap out of his daze and replied, "I will do whatever the general says."

Li Changzhou patted the warhorse's head, and the warhorse snorted comfortably.

Li Changzhou mounted his horse and stood in front of the three men, saying, "In that case, follow me to fight the enemy."

"Yes!" The young soldier's expression brightened, and he turned and jumped onto his warhorse.

"General!" the middle-aged soldier said, clasping his hands in greeting. "Killing these few hundred men is easy, but breaking out of the encirclement is difficult. There is still a sliver of a chance to escape. Charge out before the encirclement is fully formed, General!"

"Mount up." Li Changzhou said without changing his expression.

The middle-aged soldier sighed, turned around, and mounted his horse.

Old Zhao stood there, looked up and asked the general, "General, have you really made up your mind?"

"What's wrong with this decision?" Li Changzhou asked in return.

"I will die."

What if I run away?

Old Zhao stubbed out his pipe and tucked it into his waistband: "I'll die too."

"Old Zhao!" the middle-aged soldier shouted.

Li Changzhou raised his hand in a casual gesture and laughed loudly, "Generals are bound to die on the battlefield! Let's go, the enemy is right there, where else can we, as soldiers, go?"

Old Zhao gets on his horse.

"drive!

The four charged towards a squad of several hundred men.

As the two armies clashed, Li Changzhou unsheathed his spear with fury, pounding it like a battering ram, knocking down more than a dozen men.

With a swift movement, he snatched the spear from the hand of an enemy general and casually tossed it away.

laugh!

Five soldiers were strung together and nailed to the ground.

He leaned forward, his body pressed against the horse's back, dodging several oncoming swords. He switched his spear from his right hand to his left, becoming one with the horse. With a twist of his waist and abdomen, he straightened up and swung the spear.

Hiss!

Blood splattered everywhere; he had slaughtered everyone around him, each one killed with a spear tip to the throat.

Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!

After killing this squad of several hundred people, another squad of several hundred people appeared.

After killing several hundred people, the squad shook off their blood-soaked hair and looked up to see a company of over a thousand men approaching.

The tides of fate surge in wave after wave.

Even if you know this is a test of your resolve, how can you guarantee that you won't waver?

Li Changzhou spurred his horse forward and charged into the enemy lines!

He casually pulled out a long spear stuck in the ground, threw it with all his might, and pierced through the thousand-man squadron.

After killing this squad of a thousand men... the bugle call grew louder as a massive army of tens of thousands pressed down from the horizon like a dark cloud.

"General!"

"The teenagers, middle-aged people, and the elderly shouted at the same time."

At the crossroads of fate, how should one choose?

Li Changzhou took out a powerful bow, nocked an arrow, and drew it.

collapse!

The battle flags of tens of thousands of soldiers snapped in response.

"Hahaha!" Li Changzhou laughed loudly, put away his powerful bow, and raised his spear diagonally. "Kill!"

Before it even reached him, the arrows came flying at him like water.

In one round, he was left alone; the boy, the middle-aged man, and the old man had all perished.

The enemy's hooves thundered!

Li Changzhou led his army alone.

"Disarm and you will not be killed!"

"Disarm and you will not be killed!"

"Disarm and you will not be killed!"

The battle roars of tens of thousands of people formed tangible sound waves that washed over Li Changzhou time and time again.

The cavalry at the forefront arrived, their eyes filled with malice. They displayed their battlefield spear skills perfectly, raising their spears to thrust at Li Changzhou.

Li Changzhou exerted all his strength in his arm, and with a fierce shake, he bent the cavalryman's spear while simultaneously piercing a hole in the man's forehead with the spear tip.
