"A fighting arena?" Li Changzhou touched his face and looked out the window in confusion.
White sand beach, breakwater, and trees in the distance that look flattened and lying horizontally – this is a seaside highway.
Li Changzhou's university, Mingda, is located in Mingcheng, an inland city. The nearest coastal city is Songcheng, which is an hour and a half away by high-speed train.
He may have slept for an hour and a half, but there is absolutely no way there could be a direct bus between the two cities.
“I understand,” Li Changzhou lowered his hands and folded them in front of his chest, “It’s another hallucination.”
“It’s not a hallucination,” Li Qianxia said.
"That was a dream, I'm still sleeping."
The younger sister reached out and pinched her brother's arm.
"Ouch!" Li Changzhou bent over in pain, hugging his arms to his chest.
"Brother, listen to me!" Li Qianxia said with a serious expression.
"If you—if you don't pinch me, I can listen to what you have to say." Li Changzhou was in so much pain that he couldn't speak.
"This is revenge for when you slapped my butt earlier." Li Qianxia's expression remained solemn. "Brother, the end of the world is coming."
"The end of the world? Are you going to say next that the world is ending, money is useless to keep, and I should treat you to lunch? And a bottle of juice too?"
"We'll talk about that later." The younger sister didn't directly reject the suggestion. "Do you know about mass extinctions?"
Li Changzhou gently rubbed his arm; the pain came on quickly and went away just as fast.
Just then, a ding-dong sound came from the bus's announcement system again.
(The 'ring' has arrived at the station. Please be careful when opening the door, and please take care when getting off.)
"Let's get off the bus first," the girl in the hat said.
Li Qianxia took a deep breath and nodded, saying "Mmm".
Seeing that his sister didn't seem to be joking, Li Changzhou realized something was wrong. In fact, from the first time he saw the humanoid black mist, he had already realized that something was going to happen sooner or later.
But what was wrong wasn't him, but the world itself.
When he got out of the car, Li Changzhou glanced at the driver's seat. There was no one there, and the instruments were on by themselves.
Once they had all gotten off, the bus immediately drove away, leaving them at the bus stop on the seaside highway.
There is no waiting platform, no benches, no commercial or public service advertisements, and not even a canopy. The platform only has a bus stop sign.
Quiet was Li Changzhou's first impression of his surroundings.
There was no one, no seagulls, no cicadas chirping; even the sea was as still as a sheet of glass, and the sun scorched everything with its fiery heat.
"What exactly happened?" he asked Li Qianxia somewhat uneasily.
"Look at the bus stop sign, and you'll understand," came the answer from the girl in the baseball cap.
Li Changzhou looked at her.
In that instant, he felt the universe shrink, and the center of the universe, which he didn't know was somewhere, was right here at this small bus stop, on the girl.
Her skin was as white as snow, her limbs were slender and delicate, and her neck was like a lily, pure white and elegant.
She had a slender waist, and her breasts, though not very large, were beautifully shaped, as tempting as a peach.
Her legs were straight and long, not very thin, but rather a bit thinner than plump.
What's most captivating are her eyes, sparkling and bright, open like a dream, utterly enchanting.
Unparalleled beauty, with a cool and alluring temperament.
Li Changzhou's expression quickly shifted from unease and tension to calmness and composure. He glanced at the two of them, then pondered as he walked toward the bus stop.
Behind her, she heard Li Qianxia whisper, "My brother is starting to show off."
younger sister!
Whose sister are you?!
"I can tell," the girl replied.
I want to die.
I want to jump into the sea.
Li Changzhou composed himself and glanced at the humanoid black mist that had been standing in front of the bus stop sign ever since he got off the bus.
It was unclear where the humanoid black mist's face was, or whether it had eyes, but in any case, it stepped aside and gave its place to Li Changzhou.
Without the black fog obscuring his view, Li Changzhou's gaze fell on the bus stop sign.

“It seems there’s no useful information this time.” Li Qianxia walked to his side.
"Don't get your hopes up. In this game where anyone can become an enemy, no one will tell anyone their powerful secrets." The girl in the baseball cap also walked over.
"I know that, but I still can't help thinking about it," Li Qianxia said regretfully.
"You two," Li Changzhou looked at them, "what exactly is going on?"
The center of the universe turned around and explained:
"Simply put, nature is preparing for the sixth mass extinction, and a portion of life is selected to prove its worth and gain the opportunity to survive."
"We've been chosen?" Li Changzhou asked instinctively.
"No, you weren't chosen. It was your sister who was selected," the girl in the baseball cap said calmly.
Li Changzhou looked at his sister, and then his sister gave this reason: "It's because you have kidney deficiency."
"I—" Li Changzhou hesitated, speechless and at a loss for words.
“Let’s continue. How do we play this game? It looks like you two aren’t first-timers. Also,” Li Changzhou turned his gaze to the girl in the baseball cap, “what’s your name?”
"Oh, you finally asked! You were being so casual, putting it at the very end of a bunch of questions," the younger sister teased.
"I can tell." The girl in the baseball cap nodded.
