Chapter Ninety-Three: Light

"Yes, yes!"

Leaving behind the polar bear woman and the squirrel, Li Changzhou and his group left the zoo.

“Your parents…” Bi began hesitantly.

"You really think I'm that kind?" Li Changzhou chuckled. "The event will end once the number of surviving players drops below 500. I must control casualties before I can get first place."

Only the player with the most points has the priority to purchase "Honey Pot World".

“Oh, I see,” Bi nodded repeatedly. “Your acting is pretty good. I was almost fooled by you.”

“You’ve been fooled,” Li Qianxia said quietly.

"Huh?! That didn't count, okay? I was just greedy, I wasn't tricked at all!"

Listening to the two arguing, Li Changzhou ate the blood droplets flowing from his wound. The wound healed quickly, but the lost blood was gone forever and could never be brought back. What came back was not the same blood as before.

They drove their Skoda away from the zoo and found a relatively spacious coffee shop where they rested temporarily.

Aferona commanded the gray fog to guard the surroundings. The swirling gray fog resembled the Dementors surrounding Hogwarts. Fortunately, the citizens of Prague were either fleeing or had already escaped (death could also be considered a form of escape).

Inside the restaurant.

Yang Qinglan sat at a table covered with a white tablecloth, studying a map of Prague;

Li Qianxia and Bi wore aprons and tried to make desserts, playfully bickering with each other.

Li Changzhou lay on the sofa, his head resting on his hands, his eyes closed, recalling the battle that morning, reflecting on his words and actions, and simulating how to fight Wang Donghua next.

At one point, he opened his eyes, turned his head, and looked at Yang Qinglan's stunning profile and her glossy black hair coiled behind her head.

"Didn't you expect someone with an intelligence of 7 to do something like this?" he said with a laugh.

"I didn't expect that." Yang Qinglan's gaze, which was scanning the map, paused for a moment.

What are your thoughts?

She had many thoughts about the White Bear Woman, but didn't know where to begin.

Finally, she said, "You are a person of light."

"Light? Does that mean good people?" Li Changzhou asked.

"No. A person of light, whose own life is sad and heavy, can still bless those who are happy and joyful, and hope that they will still be happy and joyful tomorrow."

"This isn't a good person yet, but, well, there's a difference between them; 'bright' would be a more fitting word. And which philosopher said that?"

Yang Qinglan raised her head, turned her face to the side, and smiled beautifully and gently: "I said it."

Li Changzhou also smiled.

He looked away, his smile vanished, and stared blankly at the ceiling of the coffee shop.

“This time I acted on my own,” he said. “Next time I do anything, if you think it’s wrong, you can stop me anytime.”

"I will stop you if you show mercy to someone in a dungeon; I will stop you if you kill people indiscriminately in the real world; but why should I stop you if you have ample reason to spare a mother's life during an event?"

For some reason, Li Qianxia and Bi suddenly started making a commotion. Bi was jumping and dancing excitedly, and Li Qianxia was also laughing happily.

Yang Qinglan flipped through the map in her hand and said, "I will consider everything you do."

“Don’t misunderstand,” she turned her head and said casually with a smile, “we are a team.”

“I told you I prefer the word ‘family’,” Li Changzhou replied with a slight complaint, but also with a smile.

The orange light from the "invisible lantern" on the table softly bathed them.
