Chapter 4 Chapter 4 "You don't want to ask anymore?" During the day...
"You don't want to ask anymore?" Bai Tianming was not surprised by Mo Rusheng's answer, but he raised his eyebrows and smiled, "I have some questions to ask."
Mo Rusheng shuddered, wondering if he wanted to torture himself before killing him, but since he didn't do it now, he probably wasn't in a hurry to kill.
Therefore, Mo Rusheng blinked, tried to calm himself down, and asked, "What's the problem?"
Bai Tianming gestured to him. He looked at the mutant bird lying in the yard in a mess and asked curiously, "Did that bird mutate on its own?"
Mo Rusheng sighed, "Pretty much. I originally thought it was cursed or attacked, but there shouldn't be anyone behind me, so the bird mutated on its own."
He paused, then explained dutifully, "When I bought the bird, the seller told me it was a breed that would never mutate, so I bought it. But maybe the price was too cheap, so I bought something that was bound to mutate. It's not surprising, I'm sometimes unlucky."
Ever since he entered that room, he started to have bad luck, and he was particularly unlucky along the way, which made him wonder whether the owner of the thing had known his exact location for a long time.
The reason why he didn't appear immediately was just to tease him, scare him, torture him, and let him die on his own. If he was so unlucky from now on, he believed that he would die.
Even if no one came to kill him, he would die anyway, because it is very easy for people to get tired of such unlucky days.
Later he landed here and met Bai Tianming, who told him that his guess was true. He not only felt great panic, but also a sense of finality.
It felt like he was sentenced to death, but he didn't know when he would die. As he watched the rope fall around his neck, he actually felt relieved.
Although Bai Tianming had told him before that the mark on the thing had been erased, and he really wanted to believe it, but when he thought of the powerful aura he encountered in that room, he simply couldn't bring himself to believe that the mark left by the owner of such a powerful aura could be easily erased.
He also believed that Bai Tianming was very strong and might be able to compete with the owner of the mark, but fear was something that could not be controlled by his reason.
If he couldn't do it, he couldn't do it. If he was afraid, he was afraid. His reason told him that he could trust Bai Tianming, but his fear told him that he was almost scared to death.
"There's no one chasing you," Bai Tianming blinked and asked with even greater curiosity, "Why didn't you put the thing back before your bird mutated? If you had put it back, you wouldn't have to worry about being retaliated by the owner, right?"
Mo Rusheng smiled bitterly.
Didn't he think about it? Yes, he did.
The aura in that room was so strong that when he was caught off guard and just came into contact with it, he had to lie prone on the ground. He felt like he couldn't breathe and was about to die.
There was no thought of resistance at all.
But it was just a breath after all. After it initially intimidated him, it became much more restrained. I don’t know if it became weaker, but its impact on the room was much smaller.
He got up from the ground, with nothing in his mind. Subconsciously, he wanted to do something familiar to relieve his extremely nervous mood. For him, the most familiar thing was to pick up things.
He subconsciously took the thing away. After running out, he was already some distance away when he realized that he had taken the thing and almost collapsed.
But he had to admit that even if he took it subconsciously, the thing he took was the most unusual one, so he couldn't bear to part with it.
In addition, there was suddenly a gaze that seemed to be able to penetrate everything looking at him from behind. He didn't know whose gaze it was, nor did he know what the gaze was for, and he didn't know if it had anything to do with him, but he was afraid.
So he ran away in the blink of an eye, and took his bird with him, hoping that he could run faster. Then, the bird started to mutate for some reason and threw him off.
"You know everything that happened afterwards." Mo Rusheng spoke slowly, as if half of his body was buried in the soil.
It sounded like he was certain he would die soon and didn't want to struggle anymore because he was too tired and felt there was no room for struggle, so he gave up.
Bai Tianming nodded thoughtfully, feeling that what he said seemed to be true and there was nothing wrong. He pinched the heart in his hand, like a toy dumpling, and said, "Maybe you need to have a good rest. I'm going out first."
Bai Tianming said this, stood up, turned around, and was about to leave.
Nanpu followed behind him.
Mo Rusheng was stunned for a moment, his eyes wide open, a little surprised. He didn't expect Bai Tianming to leave so easily, without taking anything from him or getting angry at him.
Are you emotionally stable?
At the same time, the heart in Bai Tianming's hand suddenly made a thumping sound, and Mo Rusheng felt that the whole room was filled with blood in an instant.
The bubbling blood, like magma, rushed towards him and soaked him in it, as if he was a piece of ginger in a jar.
He was out of breath and opened his mouth to call for help, but no sound came out. The blood kept pouring into his mouth and into his throat, squeezing down his throat without hesitation and filling his stomach.
He couldn't control his dry heaves and vomited a lot of blood, but he couldn't tell whether it was his own blood or the blood he had just swallowed.
He just felt nauseous and dizzy, and his blood was hitting the walls of the room like waves. He heard waves after waves of sound, echoing in the room, and they drilled into his ears like insects, struggling frantically inside, and finally died.
He smelled a foul odor coming from his skin, as if the insects inside him had died and started to rot, and his body began to rot with it.
He lay on the ground, feeling that he was going to die this time. He closed his eyes, his body twitching, like a fish on a chopping board, bleeding, lots and lots of sticky blood.
Bai Tianming noticed that he looked abnormal. He had already walked to the door, but turned back and looked at him for a while. When he found that he couldn't wake up on his own, he slapped him.
He bumped into something next to him with a bang, then froze for a moment and opened his eyes. In fact, his eyes were open before, but what he saw was different from what Bai Tianming saw. So, when he opened his eyes now, he felt that the world was completely different from before.
He gasped and subconsciously covered his mouth and nose, thinking that he would be choked to death by the blood in the room, but the next second he realized that he had already come out of that dangerous room.
He put his hand down, stood up tentatively, touched his clothes, and found no blood. He blinked, sat up with the help of the table and stool next to him, and looked towards the window.
The window was not closed, so he could see the sky and the earth outside at once. He widened his eyes and finally realized that he had survived the disaster. He took a deep breath.
The normal world, how fragrant it is!
He is still alive!
He is so happy!
Mo Rusheng realized later that his legs and feet were going weak. After taking two breaths, he could not stand anymore. He sat down with the help of the table. His body was still trembling slightly and his heart was beating wildly, but after a while, he felt much better.
"Thank you." He said sincerely to Bai Tianming who was standing next to him.
Bai Tianming smiled and said, "You're welcome. What happened to you just now?"
Mo Rusheng thought about it, his face turning green unconsciously, as if he was about to retch, but he tried very hard to hold it back, so he kept a stern face, looking very unhappy, and spoke in a cold voice, because he was afraid that if he spoke loudly, he would really vomit: "I saw another world."
He briefly described what he had just felt.
Bai Tianming blinked, thinking, and nodded, saying, "No wonder you look so painful."
Mo Rusheng smiled miserably, looking like he had a very miserable life.
"I'm leaving first." Bai Tianming put the heart in his pocket and nodded to Mo Rusheng.
"Goodbye." Mo Rusheng hesitated to speak and looked at him with a pale face.
Bai Tianming waved his hand and left his room with the heart and Nan Pu. They returned to their own room. Nan Pu followed Bai Tianming. Bai Tianming took out the heart and played with it. He looked at Nan Pu and asked, "Is there anything else you want?"
Nan Pu looked at the heart in his hand, thought for a moment and said, "This thing isn't very safe. Should we find something to store it in?"
"We really should find something to put it in," Bai Tianming nodded, "otherwise, I don't know where to put it. If we don't put it in something, it might jump away on its own after one night."
Nan Pu's eyes twitched, feeling that what Bai Tianming said was not the same as what he said, but he nodded and said, "Then I'll go find something to put this thing away."
"Okay." Bai Tianming nodded, and then instructed him: "Find a transparent box, I want to see it too."
"What if you see it at night and get scared accidentally?" Nanpu frowned slightly, looking a little confused and worried, and asked in a calm tone.
"It's okay," Bai Tianming said with a smile as he poured the heart from his left hand to his right hand, looking very happy. "Just find a piece of cloth to cover it up."
If you can't find suitable cloth, you can cover it with clothes. Clothes can always cover the heart anyway.
Nan Pu saw that he couldn't persuade her, so he sighed and said obediently, "I'll go find the box now."
After saying that, he turned around and left. After a while, he really brought a transparent square box and handed it to Bai Tianming. Bai Tianming put the heart in it, and it fit perfectly.
But, that heart was beating inside.
