Chapter 32 Chapter 32 "The dog is missing." Nanpu...
"The dog is missing." Nanpu glanced at the dog that followed Bai Tianming obediently and answered.
Obviously, Nan Pu and Mo Rusheng came up to look for the dog.
Sada raised his eyebrows and whispered to Bai Tianming, "Do they care about this dog more than you?" But I'm different. I care about you the most. I don't care about the dog. Kick them all away and come back with me.
Bai Tianming glanced at him with a half-smile and replied, "They know I'll be fine here, so they're only worried about the dog. After all, if I'm safe and sound and don't see the dog when I return, they'll ask them about it, so of course they'll come looking for me."
Nan Pu stood by with an expression of deep agreement on his face and nodded.
Seeing that Bai Tianming wasn't fooled, Sada looked regretful. He glanced at Mo Rusheng, who had his head lowered, wanting to bury his face in the dirt, and asked Bai Tianming, "No matter what, he should still be punished. What do you think?"
Bai Tianming nodded. "You're right. No matter the reason, taking someone else's things without permission is wrong. What do you want to do with him?"
Mo Rusheng originally just wanted to play dead, but when he heard them talking about himself, he suddenly raised his head, widened his eyes, took a breath of cold air, and his face turned pale. The cold sweat on his forehead gathered into water beads and slid down the side of his face, as if someone had poured a basin of cold water on his head in the middle of winter. He shivered and seemed to be hesitant to speak.
Bai Tianming said to Mo Rusheng, "Don't be nervous. I won't kill you. After all, you only took a small amount of things. It's not a capital crime. The owner is here. If you can gain their forgiveness, it shouldn't be too much to ask for leniency, right?"
No one would think that if they took someone else's things and happened to be caught, and then gave the things to someone else, it means they never did it, right?
Impossible. Responsibility must be taken. Otherwise, things will continue like this. What can I do? After all, I won't die from the punishment, so what's there to be afraid of?
Mo Rusheng blinked, not knowing if the last sentence was a hint to him. He knelt down with a plop, prostrating himself before Sada, and tremblingly cried, "I was momentarily bewildered and took something so important. I wanted to return it, but I was too scared to go back. I know it's all my fault, but I'm too timid. There's nothing I can do. Whatever punishment you give me, please, spare my life. I know I was wrong, and I will change."
Sadah had seen all kinds of people, so Mo Rusheng wasn't surprised. He just couldn't understand why. He asked Bai Tianming, "What's the point of keeping him around? I don't see why."
"He's very interesting," Bai Tianming replied with a smile. "He makes my life less boring, so I'm keeping him here. Do you want to start the trial now?"
Sada felt choked and looked away, staring at Mo Rusheng who was lying in front of him without raising his head. Mo Rusheng felt a huge pressure coming down from the sky, and every bone in his body seemed to be crushed into pieces. He could not move.
He felt like a dead insect lying on the ground, but in fact his body was still stiff there, as if frozen in the ground, not moving at all.
It was only a short while, but to the uneasy Mo Rusheng, it felt like a very long time, as if it was from the creation of the world to the collapse of the sky and the earth.
Sadah looked away and said to Bai Tianming, "Since we have to go through the process, we can't do it here. I'll let the devil take him back to hell, and then return him to you after the process is completed. Okay?"
"That's fine," Bai Tianming nodded, "but I hope you can be more efficient and return him within one or three days, okay?"
"Okay," Sada nodded. "But what if he's sentenced to hard labor and can't come? That wouldn't be considered inefficiency on our part."
"Then let's set his hard labor location here." Bai Tianming said in an unquestionable tone: "I just happen to need help here, so it's perfect for him to work here to atone for his sins."
After all, Bai Tianming stayed here to play, not to work and work himself to death.
Sadah nodded thoughtfully.
Bai Tianming paused, then suddenly turned to look at him. "I don't remember which law in Hell stipulates that something like this requires hard labor. Are you testing me?"
Sadah quickly laughed and said, "Why would I test you? No! I was just saying that. I won't go there in person to tell you the details."
Bai Tianming stared at him for a moment, his face expressionless, and then he slowly withdrew his gaze: "Take it away."
Sada waved his hand, and two demons following behind them came up, one on the left and one on the right, picked up Mo Rusheng, who was lying on the ground like a puddle of water, and took him away.
Bai Tianming brought everyone to his yard and asked Nanpu to take Sada to the warehouse. Nanpu glanced at the purse in Sada's hand, nodded, turned around and led the way.
Sada hesitated beside Bai Tianming for a while and asked, "Aren't you coming with me?"
Bai Tianming was a little confused: "Are you still worried about getting lost?"
The yard is only this big!
Sadah was a little amused and said, "I'm not worried about that. After all, it's your money. If one or two are missing, and I don't check it now, what will you do if you come to me later? I won't be able to get it out!"
Bai Tianming shook his head, completely indifferent, and sat on the stool, saying as if to a Pokémon in a Poké Ball, "Buying and selling flowers is fun. Counting the money carefully isn't fun, and finding out there's not enough money isn't fun at all. I wouldn't count it when I have nothing to do. I believe you are the one, so go ahead."
Sada sighed silently: "Okay, if anything happens next time, don't look for me."
"I know, I know. Go ahead!" Bai Tianming waved at him.
He turned and left, put the money into the warehouse, and came back soon. When he appeared next to Bai Tianming, the demons around him were already touching things here and there, like curious cats entering the city, and they were almost polishing the things until they were shiny.
Sada couldn't bear to look at the demons.
To say it is embarrassing, it is not that serious. To say it is not embarrassing, it does not seem that way. But if you insist on holding your head high and saying that there is no problem at all, that would be extremely embarrassing.
"You must be tired watching them every day." Bai Tianming supported his chin with one hand, tilted his head to look at the demons, and smiled at Sada who was walking over.
"There's nothing to be tired of." Sada looked at the stool and hesitated for a moment before sitting down next to him. "After all, I don't usually care about it. You know what hell is like. You can do whatever you want."
Having said that, Sada stopped talking, thinking that if he continued, all he would be talking about would be things that were not worth being happy about and unpleasant words, so it would be better not to say anything. He frowned, unable to find a new topic for a while.
"Do you really want to stay here?" Bai Tianming poured him a glass of water, gently pushed it in front of him, looked at him, and asked tentatively.
"Yes," Sada took the glass of water but didn't drink it right away. He turned the glass around and put it back, thinking, "We're not in a hurry to go back to hell."
"Did you come here directly, or did you take some flying boat?" Bai Tianming asked again.
"I have transportation," Sada smiled, "but the things are now on the human land, I can also take them back."
He thought about it and decided to put the things away. Otherwise, it would be inappropriate to leave them in the crowd.
"That group of people were very aggressive when they broke in," Bai Tianming thought for a moment and then hesitated to ask, "They seemed to be looking for trouble with the demons. Are you here for real?"
The smile on Sada's face froze for a moment. "I was in such a hurry when I came here that I planned to find the things first and then complete the process."
"You should be free now, right?" Bai Tianming sat up straight and looked at him. "Let's start making up now! I don't want this place to end up being a place that houses a bunch of criminals and scumbags."
Sada sighed, took out his communicator, and the veins on his forehead jumped twice. "I know, I know. I'll start now. What's so difficult about this? It'll only take a few moments."
Bai Tianming sighed and said in a worried tone, "If you can't wait even for a short while, what will happen in the future?"
Sadah began to feel a headache: "Don't say anything, it will be fine soon."
Bai Tianming stopped talking.
After a while, Sada's communicator lit up, and Sada turned on the screen to show him: "I have already arranged everything. Now I am here in a serious manner. Are you satisfied?"
Bai Tianming smiled and said gently, "After all, this isn't hell. You can't act as arrogantly as you would in hell. I know you're strong and can go wherever you want, but you'd better be careful outside."
Sada put the communication area into his pocket and frowned, looking away. "You're the only one like this. Sometimes it's really strange, why someone like you would be a demon in Hell. We're not alike at all. Why aren't you an angel in Heaven? They love to whine the most. It's so annoying!"
Bai Tianming lowered his eyes and remained silent.
When Sada didn't hear any reply after he finished speaking, he turned around and was startled. He thought Bai Tianming was angry and sad, so he quickly said, "I just said it casually, don't take it to heart."
"I don't take it seriously." Bai Tianming smiled at him.
Sada looked at him doubtfully: "Really?"
Bai Tianming nodded: "Yes."
Sardar was completely unconvinced and stood up and said to him, "Then change back to your true form and fight me, and I will believe you!"
What Sada thought was that if he secretly let Bai Tianming beat him up, maybe Bai Tianming would feel better.
Bai Tianming could see what he meant, and she was at a loss whether to laugh or cry. She tried to decline politely, "That would be too much trouble."
"Then you are angry!" Sadah said with great certainty.
