Chapter 23
What is the interior of the Grim Reaper's starship like? No race is not curious about it. Unfortunately, no matter how curious they are, they have no way of knowing. All they can see is the cold exterior of the Grim Reaper's starship and the intimidating muzzle of its cannons. Any attempt to get closer or overtake it will only result in annihilation.
In the hearts of the various races in the Star Beast Domain, the Intelligence Clan is an almost invincible force.
Many races have wondered what a powerful race it would be if one day managed to step inside an Intellectual Starship.
Unexpectedly, he became the one who fulfilled that grand vision, albeit in this way, leaving the third prince of the Canaanite tribe with a bitter taste in his mouth.
It wasn't that he wasn't angry, resentful, or didn't lament the injustice of the world, but what could he do even if he was unwilling? Even if he hid, could he really escape? Under the guns of the Ghibli, he finally calmly and voluntarily stepped forward.
On that journey, he thought about many things, even his entire life flashed through his mind along that short stretch. As a child, he was of low status, and even as a prince, he was bullied and suffered the bitterness that comes with weakness. Later, he worked hard to accumulate power, carefully and patiently endured, and with a stroke of luck, he finally managed to lay his own net within his race. Plus, his elder brother was stupid enough to let him do whatever he wanted without noticing anything.
He had long been accustomed to forbearance, and even at this moment, he did not reveal the slightest bit of his true intentions, waiting only for the final moment to win a complete victory.
He had been careful enough, thorough enough, and considered all possibilities, but why? Why did the Grim Reapers appear? And why did they directly demand him, instead of demanding his more prestigious elder brother?
On the surface, doesn't his older brother seem to have more value to demand?
At that moment, he truly felt disheartened and also came to believe in the existence of fate in the world, and that some people might just be born with good fortune.
Just like his elder brother, who was born into a noble position and had everything, and was the rightful heir of the Canaanite tribe, a covetous person like him, no matter how much he schemed and plotted, no matter how much victory seemed to be in his hands, could suddenly have an unexpected and unreasonable event, such as the appearance of the Zhi people, which would completely end everything.
After he leaves this time, he will probably never come back alive. And no matter how much power he wields, how can he be of any use if he is no longer alive?
Ultimately, the next king of the Canaanite tribe should still be his elder brother, since the other princes have not developed the power he has and are simply not enough to contend with his elder brother.
Thinking about all this, Gae really felt that his life had been a joke.
Although he appeared to be sitting upright but was actually in a daze when the Ghidorah took him away, once he was actually brought into the starship, Ga'e subconsciously snapped back to his senses and began to observe his surroundings. Years of cunning and deception had made him never let his guard down under any circumstances.
Moreover, he was genuinely curious about the interior of the Intelligence Clan's starship, since not everyone had the opportunity to see it. Considering that he might not live much longer, he couldn't help but look more closely. After all, being able to see what the interior of the Intelligence Clan's starship, the most mysterious place in the hearts of all races, was like before he died was a small gain, even though he didn't want to make this deal that cost him his life.
Upon seeing this, Gae couldn't help but gape and widen his eyes, unable to maintain his composure any longer.
In fact, the various races had previously speculated about what the interior of the Intelligence Clan's starship would look like. They assumed that the inside would be silver-white, just like the outside, and the rest would be similar to the belly of a Star Beast.
Forgive them, the only creatures they've ever seen capable of roaming the stars are star beasts, so this is their only analogy.
However, when Gae actually saw the Chilean starship, he realized that things were different. Everything was different from what they had guessed, except that it was indeed silver-white.
The Star Beast's belly is a magical space that allows them to stay inside and travel through the starry sky to other planets using the Star Beast.
However, the interior of the Star Beast's storage compartment is often messy and crowded. It's filled with its people, goods for transport and trade, food and water along the way, and all sorts of other things. Plus, the Star Beast sometimes moves around, so being inside isn't a very pleasant experience.
Even when royalty and nobles of various races travel, they can luxuriously enjoy a star beast all to themselves. The entire cabin is empty of goods, containing only a few servants and various daily necessities. It's just that the space is a bit more spacious and the person can lie down a bit more comfortably.
However, the space inside the Intelligence Clan's starship was completely different from that inside the Star Beast's body. There were wide corridors, fresh air, and a smooth, silvery-white floor that was easy to walk on. You couldn't see the luminous stones, but the entire space was filled with light, and everything was clearly visible.
As Gae followed the Zhizu people deeper into the area, he saw a spacious hall and a place that resembled a lounge. More importantly, Gae found that he had walked very smoothly without feeling any swaying, as if he were still on the planet.
Gae couldn't help but take a deep breath. They had always thought that they, like the Aztecs, roamed the stars, but was this what life was like for the Aztecs on their starships?
This shock and sense of disorientation made Gae briefly forget the fear of death.
When Gae came to his senses again, he had been led to a place by the Zhizu. Then, the place in front of him, which he had thought was a silver wall, suddenly opened, and he was pushed inside by the Zhizu. The silver wall then closed again.
All the intelligent beings had left, leaving him alone in this solitary space. He subconsciously groped at the silver wall and found a tiny, almost invisible crack, but he didn't know how to open it. In the end, he explored the space on his own.
This seemed to be a room, but everything was silver and overly simple. In the very center of the room, he saw a square object that looked like a bed. He tentatively touched it and found it to be very soft.
He also found a small adjoining room next to this room, but there were many things inside that he couldn't understand. Out of caution, he didn't touch anything and returned to the large room where he had started.
No one from the Intelligence Clan came over, and he didn't know what they wanted to do, but it seemed they weren't planning to kill him for the time being. Gae sat there blankly for a while, then tentatively lay down on what appeared to be a bed in the middle of the room.
As soon as he lay down, he couldn't help but open his eyes slightly. The unique feeling of gently sinking into the bed and then being supported made him not want to get up. It was simply the most comfortable bed he had ever slept in.
Then, he couldn't help but fall into contemplation of life again. So, when the intelligent beings travel through the universe, they not only have a flat surface to walk on and omnipresent light, but they can also have private rooms and lie on comfortable beds...
At this moment, because he was thinking about these questions, the third prince of the Canaanites, Ga'a, once again forgot his fear of death.
Whether it was because he was thinking too deeply or because the soft bed was too comfortable, Gae unknowingly fell asleep. When he woke up, he didn't know how much time had passed until he felt hungry.
Gae touched his hungry stomach and gave a bitter smile, but he didn't shout or scream because he still wanted to live. He didn't want to anger the intelligent race. He knew that he had no right to make any demands here, even if his final fate was to starve to death.
He couldn't help but start to wonder again, perhaps, at this very moment, his elder brother was holding a grand banquet in his palace.
However, it's something to celebrate, because without him, his elder brother can smoothly inherit the throne and reach the pinnacle of his life.
Even after his foolish elder brother ascended the throne, he was unaware that he once had an enemy capable of taking everything from him, who was inexplicably eliminated without his knowledge. He couldn't help but smile ironically.
At that moment, the silver wall opened again, and two members of the Intelligence Clan walked in.
Ga'ai's pupils contracted slightly, and he stood up nervously, carefully observing the other party, already wondering if they were about to make their move.
However, despite Gae's vigilance, the two intelligent beings did not lay a hand on him. One of them extended a hand, holding several pale yellow tubular objects. His cold, dark red eyes stared at him emotionlessly as he spoke in the common language of the Star Beast Domain: "Food."
Then, the AI did something, and a silver plane slowly extended from the originally silver wall, on which the AI placed several tubular objects.
Gae stared blankly at the desktop-like tablet that had appeared out of nowhere.
However, the two intelligent beings ignored Gae's dazed state. The other intelligent being went to the small room next door, looked around, and found no signs of use. He then commanded Gae, "Come here, I'll teach you how to use it."
A while later, the two intelligent beings left, while Gae stood blankly at the entrance of the small room, looking at the things he had never understood before but had just learned to use. He couldn't help but step forward and gently press a spot, and then clean water flowed down like a bursting water flower.
So, when the Grim Reapers travel through space, their starships not only have private rooms, comfortable beds, and clean water, but they can even take showers?!
