Chapter 16
When the enormous steel nest came into view, and grew ever more majestic and menacing as the aircraft approached, Chen Xi's breath caught in his throat.
Even though she had seen the design drawings before, the feeling was completely different when the real thing appeared in front of her. Chenxi stared at the building, not wanting to blink.
The aircraft stopped in front of the building. The area had already been protected by a shield, creating a comfortable environment suitable for human habitation. Jin Yi opened the aircraft and let Chen Xi run down, chuckling, "Go see your new home, baby."
Meanwhile, Chen Xi's eyes were already sparkling. She kept touching this and looking at that. Knowing that this was a gift prepared for her, she unknowingly walked into the steel nest, its entrance resembling the ferocious maw of a beast.
This building, which Chen Xi initially took a liking to at first sight and which was later modified by the machine race's technicians, not only matched Chen Xi's aesthetic in appearance, but was also full of surprises inside. There was an icy pool and iron bridge that seemed to be from a fantasy world, and a terrifying passage that seemed to be a monster's lair. However, opening those doors that blended perfectly with the environment would reveal comfortable bedrooms or cool game rooms. It was a perfect combination of atmosphere and comfort.
After taking a good look around, Chen Xi wanted to run out to find Jin Yi to share his excitement. However, when he got to the lobby, he didn't see Jin Yi. Instead, he saw a figure that everyone couldn't take their eyes off.
That figure seemed not to belong to the mortal realm. He stood there quietly, enough to take everyone's breath away. He had an exquisitely beautiful face, golden eyes that were indifferent and unwavering, and long golden hair that cascaded down from his head to his ankles, swaying slightly behind him. He was like a god from mythology, and he also exuded a godlike aura of condescension and indifference. The moment anyone saw him, before they could even be amazed, they would feel an urge to worship and revere him, and dare not offend him in any way.
Chen Xi stared blankly at the figure that seemed to be from a myth or legend. It took him a long time to come back to his senses. He looked away somewhat uneasily and subconsciously tried to find a familiar figure around him.

Chen Xi was still somewhat dazed. He subconsciously let the other person lead him, but even in this situation, his brain was still trying to think and make sense of the situation. He asked, "Are you the original body?"
The stunningly beautiful, almost divine figure said, "That's right."
Chen Xi remembered that Jin Yi had said that he was a wisp of consciousness separated from the main brain, while the main body was stationed in the base. So, the one in front of her was also Jin Yi.
However, before Chenxi could fully comprehend this fact, she had already pushed open the door to a bedroom, led him into the bedroom, and then reached out and put her hand on his collar as if she knew exactly what to do. "Are you tired? Go take a shower and rest for a while."
The completely unfamiliar face and voice made Chen Xi instinctively flinch back when the other person started undressing him.
This gesture of refusal startled both the godlike figure and Chen Xi for a moment.
After regaining her senses, Chenxi looked at the other person's golden eyes with a slightly embarrassed and apologetic expression, and explained in a low voice, "I'm just... not used to it."
In fact, Chen Xi knew that the other party should be Jin Yi, but for a moment, this completely unfamiliar image still made him feel like he was facing a stranger. And this stranger wanted to take off his clothes as soon as he arrived, which made it really hard for him to control his subconscious reaction to dodge.
The figure looked at Chen Xi with slightly dark eyes for a moment, then smiled and said, "It's alright. Are you not used to it? You should get used to it."
As he finished speaking, Chen Xi heard another sound coming from the bedroom door. Then a warm body pressed against him from behind. Chen Xi turned his head and immediately smiled with surprise, shouting, "Jin Yi!"
The figure who opened the bedroom door and walked in was none other than Jin Yi, with black hair, golden eyes, and a handsome face. Seeing the familiar figure, Chen Xi immediately felt relieved.
Jin Yi lowered her head and gave Chen Xi a gentle and reassuring smile. Then she raised her hand and wrapped it around his waist, her fingers deftly unbuttoning his shirt.
Wait, something seems off?!
The next moment, Chen Xi finally understood what was wrong, because another figure approached him, and two slender, jade-like hands were placed on him as well. He was sandwiched in the middle like a sandwich, with nowhere to hide. Then, his clothes were quickly stripped off by the four hands working together.
Chenxi blushed with shame.
When he was carried into the bathroom and placed in the bathtub, he couldn't help himself and grabbed Jin Yi's hand, biting it, and said hatefully, "Bad Jin Yi, you just know how to bully me."
As they watched Chen Xi throw a tantrum, the same smile appeared in the golden eyes of both figures.
