Chapter 2

Chapter 2

After roughly guessing his identity, He Xile finally understood why those non-humans were so frightened when they saw him open his eyes, and ran faster than rabbits.

If he were to visit an exhibition in a museum, and was looking at a mummy with great interest, and the mummy suddenly came alive—

Wow, my scalp is tingling!

He Xile expressed deep sympathy for the plight of these non-human beings.

He found the exit of the museum and was moving slowly, wanting to leave first. Suddenly, a group of fully armed non-humans broke through the gate of the exhibition area and appeared in front of He Xile in an orderly manner.

Those in the front row took a defensive stance, while those in the back row took an attacking stance, all of them staring at He Xile with eager eyes.

At the same time, countless small instruments that looked like drones entered the scene.

The leader was a man with a stern face and a wolf tail behind him. He was standing behind a high-tech-looking shield emitting blue light. He made gestures and muttered something loudly to He Xile.

He Xile: “…”

He Xile was completely bewildered.

He didn't understand a word I said.

I couldn't understand that inhuman body language.

However, this huge scene made He Xile alert.

All right.

Now is the time to start having compassion for yourself.

As a collection that suddenly came to life, He Xile was very self-aware. It was difficult for him to convince himself that after these people captured him, they would treat him as an ordinary compatriot instead of taking him directly to the laboratory.

Just like the miracle of his waking up, he had clearly been sleeping for so long that he was indeed not restricted in walking, but he was very weak in all aspects of his body and was isolated and helpless. Apart from cooperating first and striving for the greatest benefits, He Xile really had no other choice.

He Xile's long eyelashes trembled slightly, and he slowly raised his hands to indicate that he was harmless.

The non-humans not far away looked at each other.

One of them was a woman who looked slender but had a tail behind her. She walked over on tiptoe.

She was very fast, but her eyes were always fixed on He Xile, her pupils slightly erected like a cat's. Finally, she stopped two meters away from He Xile and threw an instrument to him from a distance.

He Xile looked at the instrument, blinked, and didn't move.

The woman and the wolf-tailed man not far away became anxious upon seeing this. They gestured with their hands, asking He Xile to bring the instrument and showed them the instruments in their hands.

He Xile hesitated for two seconds, then finally bent down and picked up the instrument.

He took the opportunity to observe other non-humans and found that all non-humans who could see their arms were wearing this device.

He felt a little relieved.

The instrument was attached to my hand, causing a slight tingling sensation like a needle prick.

The next second, He Xile heard a somewhat harsh voice not far ahead saying, "He put it on." And then a soft female voice to the right said, "Thank God."

He Xile blinked.

This instrument is actually a language translator?

High-tech gadgets!

He Xile said tentatively: "Hello?"

There was a momentary commotion in the crowd as the voice rang out, but soon everyone quieted down and looked at He Xile. The man with the wolf tail had a serious expression, and the woman tilted her head, and their tails swung almost at the same time.

You can hear a pin drop throughout the museum.

This scene was exactly the same as the one before when He Xile woke up and the originally noisy museum suddenly became silent.

He Xile was a little reserved and didn't dare to speak again.

What's going on?

Why didn't these people respond when he greeted them? Could it be that they couldn't understand him? Or was this device simply ineffective, providing only one-way translation?

He Xile was at a loss, his fingers tangled together.

He pursed his lips, unsure how to make the non-humans across from him understand what he meant.

"Hello."

The man with the wolf tail suddenly stepped forward. "I'm the captain of the 1089th Imperial Guard. My last name is Xing. You can call me Captain Xing. May I ask if you are feeling unwell?"

He Xile felt it, shook his head and replied softly: "No."

...Come to think of it, when he finally lost consciousness in reality, he could still hear people crying, so he should have been dead. Since he signed a body donation agreement, he's probably working as a cadaver instructor at some medical school now. Who could have imagined that he'd traveled to this magical place and started a second life?

And as of now, there is indeed no sign of any discomfort in his body.

Except for the hands and feet being a little soft.

He Xile couldn't help but curl his eyes.

——No matter what, it feels good to be alive.

That's also strange.

After He Xile spoke for the second time, the scene became quiet again.

He Xile looked up, somewhat confused.

But he soon guessed that it was probably because the instrument was translating slowly and there was a delay.

He Xile waited obediently.

Sure enough, after a while, Captain Xing nodded and said, "Your situation is very special. Could you please go with us to the hospital for a full physical examination?"

He Xile nodded again: "Of course."

Faced with so many non-humans, He Xile had no other choice.

Captain Xing felt relieved by the humans' cooperation.

But even so, the surrounding defenses were not lowered.

He Xile walked slowly. Captain Xing, noticing this, subconsciously lifted his leg and walked towards the humans. Behind him, one of his subordinates couldn't help but whisper, "Captain."

They haven't really confirmed yet whether this human is dangerous.

It would be inappropriate for Captain Xing to go over there rashly.

Captain Xing shook his head.

His sixth sense told him that this seemingly small human would not pose any threat to him.

This sixth sense came out of nowhere, but Captain Xing had relied on it to dodge countless enemy attacks while manipulating his mecha against space pirates. He trusted his sixth sense very much.

The distance is getting closer.

He Xile looked at the man who was as big as a mountain, his face turned pale, and he took a step back in fear.

Captain Xing stopped immediately upon seeing this.

"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you."

Captain Xing said this, tentatively moving slowly to a distance that would give the other person a sense of security.

He looked at the human and his heart beat faster, but not because he was afraid that the human would hurt him.

In fact, in his heart, he felt that this human was incredibly soft, as if he could be torn in half with just one claw.

Stretching out an arm, Captain Xing said seriously, "You can help me walk."

He Xile was delighted.

It turned out that he came to help because he saw that he had difficulty walking.

He Xile looked up and observed this non-human being closely.

The distance was not obvious before, but when the non-human walked in front of He Xile, He Xile realized that the non-human was so tall, more than four meters!

However, when the opponent just stood with his teammates, his height advantage was not obvious.

The man looked very muscular, yet his waist was very narrow, a typical inverted triangle. His body proportions were peculiar, top-heavy and bottom-light, with well-developed upper body muscles and a relatively underdeveloped lower body. Therefore, even though He Xile was only about 1.78 meters tall, he could still reach the man's waist. Furthermore, a long, furry wolf tail extended from his tailbone.

He held a spear in one hand, looking mighty and domineering.

The visible disparity in strength between the two sides made He Xile feel frightened.

But he believed what Captain Xing said.

——If they wanted to hurt He Xile, there was no need to be so tactful.

He Xile whispered, "Thank you."

It was indeed not very convenient for him to walk now. Because of his height, he put his hand on Captain Xing's wrist, and He Xile used the force to walk, which really made it much easier.

And behind him, which he didn't see, Captain Xing's wolf tail began to swing wildly.

——Oh my God!

He was now so close to a national treasure, the only human in the entire universe! From his height, he could clearly see a single hair whorl in the human's soft black hair.

He can brag about this for the rest of his life!!!

Furthermore, contrary to the cold, unremarkable records previously unearthed, this human seemed to have no aggressive tendencies. His voice was so pleasant! His hands were so soft! The pressure on his wrist felt so light. He was also so small! He seemed only a third of his size. He looked so adorable!

Black hair and beautiful crystal clear eyes.

There was no strange smell on the body, and there was even a strange light fragrance——

Ahhhh.

Is this what human beings are like!

For a moment, the captain was overwhelmed by the thoughts in his mind.

The big tail behind him was swinging more and more vigorously.

He Xile, who was walking beside Captain Xing, asked: "?"

Why do I feel a gust of wind behind me?

&

Everyone walked out of the museum together.

Outside the museum is a particularly large open space where several small spacecraft are parked neatly.

He Xile was led by everyone towards the spaceship. While marveling at the technological level of this world, he saw from the gaps between the long legs swinging around him that there were many non-humans in the distance outside the cordon, looking towards this side.

Maybe a reporter?

After all, this is a big event that the collection has opened its eyes. Which TV station would not report it if they knew about it?

Sitting on the small spaceship, He Xile looked around curiously.

Captain Xing: "Is this your first time riding this kind of spaceship?"

He Xile smiled shyly: "Yeah."

There is no such thing on earth.

Upon seeing this, Captain Xing introduced some well-known content from the side: "This is the small spacecraft Yura, which is only provided for military use. It can be converted into combat mode when necessary. Look..." He raised the instrument on his wrist, and a small screen immediately appeared on the instrument, showing the appearance of this small spacecraft after its transformed form in 3D.

Although He Xile didn't quite understand these complicated contents, he was in the stage of absorbing world knowledge and was quite interested in them.

Arrived at the hospital quickly.

It was He Xile's first time riding a spaceship. When he arrived at the destination, he stood up and felt a little dizzy, as if he had arrived at the hospital but his soul was not there yet.

As soon as he was helped off the spacecraft, he was immediately pulled away by a group of people and placed in an oval instrument.

With his hands and feet fixed, He Xile was unable to move.

Soon, the instrument began to rumble.

"Vital signs checked - normal. Unidentified object detected in the brain, confirmed to be a tumor - removed. Physical strength checked - E-level, force checked - F-level."

The instrument is still broadcasting everything it detects.

Everyone in the hospital was shocked.

"Huh? E-level physical strength, F-level force? Wouldn't that mean I can knock him down with just one punch? And he's so skinny!"

"Oh, why don't you give it a try?"

"...Just kidding, just kidding. If I were to take action, wouldn't I be immediately arrested by the guards? But this is different from what's recorded in the previous documents."

"Are humans so weak?"

"Oh my god, the thought that such a helpless and precious human being actually belongs to Your Majesty, and Your Majesty... I dare not think any further."
