Awakening from a Dream

Awakening from a Dream

Huang Yaya was still in the same dormitory. On the day she arrived at school, three people from her dormitory and Liu Fangyu came to the station to pick her up.

Although she had only slept for a year, she felt like she had already experienced a lot! She was also a little reserved when facing them.

When she arrived at the dormitory, her bed had been disturbed and cleaned.

Xu Meng jokingly said: "You will be our schoolmate from now on!"

Ning Yuanyuan added: "Call me senior sister quickly."

Shi Jiaojiao also took out the flowers hidden under her table and handed them to her, thanking her: "Yaya, thank you. If you hadn't pushed me, I might have died."

This was the first time Huang Yaya had received flowers! It was actually given to her by a girl. She hugged the flowers and said with a smile, "You're welcome!"

Xu Meng said proudly: "Yaya, if you have any questions in the future, you can come to me!"

"Even though I know you got the scholarship, there's no need to show off in front of us schoolmates so soon!" Ning Yuanyuan rolled her eyes.

"Don't be angry, you are just a little bit short!" Xu Meng said happily.

Hearing Xu Meng's boasting, Huang Yaya couldn't help but pat her butt and asked, "Are you still constipated, Xu Daxueba?"

"Yaya, you are so bad." Xu Meng's sore spot was touched, and her tone was a little angry.

After talking with her roommates for a while, she went to find her new counselor.

The new counselor was very gentle and even held a ten-minute class meeting for her, a freshman transfer student.

Huang Yaya stood awkwardly on the podium, like a chicken among a flock of cranes. The instructor pointed at her and introduced her, "This is Huang Yaya. She was originally from the class of 25, but she was in a car accident last year and didn't wake up until this year. Now she's in our class, so please take care of her."

The instructor finished speaking and nodded to her, suggesting that she introduce herself: "Hello everyone, I am Huang Yaya. I will be attending classes with you in the next few days. Please give me your guidance."

Applause erupted from the classroom. After the instructor left, some of the more cheerful students asked directly, "I think I saw your story on the news last year."

"I've seen it too, Senior. You're so unlucky. You even got hit while the traffic light was green at the zebra crossing."

Logically, she should be a senior student, but she failed a grade. What a rare title: "college repeater"!!!

School has been open for almost a month now, and Huang Yaya has to study some of the material on her own, using the teacher's courseware. So, she's been incredibly busy since she first arrived at the school!

She would go to the library when she didn't have classes, and she would also go to the library on weekends! Fortunately, she was a literature major, so many things only required rote memorization.

She got up a little late this week and found there were no seats in the library, so she had to go to the cafe at the school gate.

Liu Fangyu started bombarding me with text messages every day again:

Liu: What are you going to do today?

Huang: Review.

Liu: Let’s go to the library?

Huang: No, there’s no room in the library, so I went to the coffee shop outside the school.

Liu: Is it the one with senior?

Huang: Yes.

Liu: I have a membership card for this hotel. You can use my card.

Huang: No, thank you.

Liu: Then please save a seat for me. My experimental results will be out soon.

Huang: Okay.

As expected of the Chemistry Department, they are still doing experiments on Saturday morning!

Huang Yaya ordered two cups of latte, after all, it would take up two seats. It didn’t matter if Liu Fangyu didn’t like latte, she could have two cups by herself.

She quickly felt sleepy reading the convoluted sentences in the textbook and quickly took a few sips of her latte. But afterward, she felt even sleepier, and she even suspected she was allergic to coffee.

She lay down on her textbook and planned to take a nap.

Song Zhexi was drinking alone on the couch in the room. Suddenly he had a strong feeling and he quickly got up and walked to the bed.

He looked carefully at the sleeping person, his eyebrows, his nose. This was the person he had been thinking about day and night.

In fact, he had had this feeling many times in the past year, feeling that she was right next to him, but he couldn't find her every time.

Every day he hoped that she would appear before him like today. Song Zhexi gently touched her forehead with his hand. It was her warmth that made his heart suddenly leap with joy. When he was about to wake her up, she disappeared.

The touch just now was so real that Song Zhexi angrily hammered the edge of the bed with his hand.

"Student Huang, wake up." When Huang Yaya opened her eyes, she saw Liu Fangyu holding two cups of cappuccino. He had a bag on his back and there was a sour smell on his body, like vinegar but not quite.

He placed a cup of cappuccino in front of Huang Yaya and said with a smile, "It's your turn."

Huang Yaya pointed to the cup of latte next to her and said with a smile: "It's yours."

Liu Fangyu sat down, took out his organic chemistry textbook and began to study. Huang Yaya was very curious about what they would learn in the chemistry department of the university, so she asked, "Can you show me your textbook?"

When she opened the textbook and was told it was a heavenly book, she believed it. Organic chemistry was simply a collection of obscure characters and various graphics.

"You are so amazing. I think these people are so overwhelmed." Huang Yaya praised sincerely.

"Because I went to Dali for high school, the chemistry I learned in college was just based on the high school chemistry with some more fancy modifications," Liu Fangyu explained.

Huang Yaya didn't understand at all. This wasn't even embellishment; this was a complete rebuilding of the foundation. She had learned some chemistry in junior high school, but when she saw this book, she only knew a benzene ring.

"Let's study." Huang Yaya said.

"Let's have lunch together." Liu Fangyu looked at her profile and invited.

Should she refuse or accept? She thought about it, nodded, and agreed: "Okay."

"I was prepared to be rejected by you. I didn't expect you to agree and win the prize." Liu Fangyu glanced at his watch, praying that it was almost noon.

Time always passes slowly when studying, but with someone next to her, she felt embarrassed to keep looking at her phone, so she could only force herself to break down the words she couldn't understand, one by one, and read them according to the subject, predicate, and object.

Around twelve o'clock, Liu Fangyu put his books into his schoolbag, stood up and said happily, "Let's go, let's go eat."

"Yeah." Huang Yaya also packed her things.

She thought Liu Fangyu was going to the cafeteria, but he went directly to a Korean restaurant near the school. This Korean restaurant should be newly opened, after all, she had not seen this restaurant a year ago.

The waiter handed them a menu. Liu Fangyu pointed to the spicy stewed pork ribs on the menu and recommended: "I heard Shi Jiaojiao say that you like spicy food. I've tried this spicy pork ribs before, and they're pretty good."

"Then let's go with this one." Huang Yaya also thought this was very good.

The waiter served her a plate of kimchi, a must-have in Korean cuisine. Huang Yaya took a bite and felt it was too sour.

The things in her dream still lingered in her mind, so clear and so real.

If all that was true, she must have a big wound on her back and there must be a child in her belly.

But her stomach was still flat, and her back was also very smooth. Perhaps it was because she had read too many novels that her mind had unrealistic fantasies.

The spicy stewed pork ribs arrived, a bright red broth with some cabbage and some ribs. The waiter also brought a bowl of instant noodles and said, "You can add them directly to the pot after you finish the ribs."

They also ordered a bibimbap and noodles with soybean paste.

During the meal, Liu Fangyu kept picking up spare ribs for her. His eyes curved into a crescent shape and he asked, "Do you still like it?"

"Well, it's pretty good." Huang Yaya replied.

After a while, the waiter came over with a small cake and said with a smile, "We have a promotion today. We will give a small cake to every couple who comes to eat here."

Huang Yaya was about to explain when Liu Fangyu smiled and said to the waiter, "Thank you."

After a while, he said a little embarrassedly: "They made a mistake. How could you be willing to be my girlfriend when you are so cute?"

Huang Yaya's face was thicker than usual. After a moment's pause, she replied, "You are so handsome, how could you be my boyfriend?"
