"Little brother is just little brother!" Susu answered.
"So, what is little brother’s name?" Tantai Ming inquired further.
He seemed very interested in Lu Zhanyu.
Lu Zhanyu followed the voice and looked over, meeting Tantai Ming’s probing gaze.
"I am Susu’s neighbor. Do you have any issue with the questions you’re asking me?" Lu Zhanyu said politely and calmly, appearing much more mature than most children of his age.

"That’s unlikely, I don’t go out often." Lu Zhanyu replied.
Upon hearing this, Tantai Ming specifically glanced at Lu Zhanyu’s legs.
He was sitting in a wheelchair, evidently having mobility issues.
"I’m sorry, I didn’t mean anything by that," Tantai Ming said, full of apology.
"It’s fine."
"I really do think you look familiar, maybe we met in our past lives!" Tantai Ming said with a smile on his face.
"Teacher, what you just said sounds very much like something a man trying to hit on a girl in a TV show would say," Lu Zhanyu commented.
"Is that so? But you’re not a girl, and you’re still a child, so I have no reason to tell lies. I really do think you look familiar, and I mean that sincerely," Tantai Ming said, smiling.
"People can look alike, it’s probably just a resemblance," Lu Zhanyu explained.
"That’s also a possibility." Tantai Ming’s mouth curved into a smile as he looked down to continue watching the interaction between Susu and Lu Zhanyu.
Susu held Lu Zhanyu’s hand, "Big brother, today the teacher asked us to make a volcano that can erupt. Can you help me make it?"
"Sure," Lu Zhanyu agreed, his tone and expression indescribably doting.
Old Master Qin, feeling left out, said, "Little darling, Daddy can make an erupting volcano too. Why don’t you let Daddy help?"
Old Lady Qin gave Old Master Qin an elbow, "Old man, little darling likes to play with peers her age. Why are you trying to butt in?"
"What do you mean by butting in? The kindergarten teacher assigned this project so we could enjoy some pleasant parent-child time together! It’s time that belongs to us and our little darling!"
Old Master Qin protested, then turned to Tantai Ming for confirmation, "Tantai teacher, am I right or what?"
Tantai Ming replied with a smile, "Mr. Qin makes a good point, but it’s also nice for a child to have peers to play with."
He managed not to offend either side.
Old Lady Qin quickly said, "Old man, just stop interfering. If you really want to help, just watch from the side. If our little darling needs you, you can join in."
"Alright, alright, I will work over here and wait for our little darling’s summon at any time," Old Master Qin muttered, and though somewhat reluctant, he ultimately complied.
The Qin family continued their murmuring, and Tantai Ming, feeling it was inappropriate to stay longer, was escorted out by Qin Yuze.
Tantai Ming left the Qin residence and walked towards Hongfeng Kindergarten.
As the day grew late, the reddish glow of the sunset reflected on his face.
What was once a bright and vibrant face filled with vitality and energy, now seemed as dim as the twilight.
