Pei Shijin also sensed the crisis and no longer appeared in front of Shi Wan with Jiang Heng. Shi Wan also went to work early and came back late, so he had no time to care about what Pei Shijin and his group did.

"That's right!" Everyone in the production room was talking at once, and Shi Wan felt embarrassed by the praise.
"No..." Shi Wan's cheeks flushed, he buried his head, his eyebrows curved, and he smiled with his lips pursed.
When Shiwan returned home in the evening, the Pei family gathered together to discuss what clothes Pei Shijin should wear on the days of his graduation banquet and engagement party. Pei Shijin sat in the middle, and all the Pei family members' eyes were focused on him.
No one noticed Shi Wan's return, and no one even asked him if he had received the acceptance letter. Shi Wan didn't want to get involved in the Pei family's world. He just wanted to wait for him to start school and marry Mr. Gu. When Wan came out of the shower, she subconsciously checked the message on her phone. As expected, it was from Gu Zhinian.
[Gu Zhinian: Have you received the admission letter? ]
【Shi Wan: Got it.】
[Gu Zhinian: Congratulations. Are you free the night after tomorrow?]
[Shi Wan: Yes.] Although Shi Wan didn't know why Gu Zhinian asked, he still answered truthfully. He didn't have anything to worry about anyway.

"Then... thank you." Shi Wan accepted the gift but didn't open it.
There was a hint of disappointment in Gu Zhinian's eyes, but Shi Wan didn't notice it because she lowered her head to drink juice.
"Put them all over here." Gu Zhinian said to the waiter who served the dishes.
The waiter was stunned for a moment, but still did as Gu Zhinian said. He placed two steaks in front of Gu Zhinian, who cut the steaks for Shi Wan before serving them to her. He also prepared chopsticks in case Shi Wan was not used to using the knife and fork. The restaurant manager was wiping the sweat from his forehead nervously. The indoor temperature was 26 degrees. He was wearing a neat suit and running back and forth, afraid of making any mistakes. He also reminded the waiter many times not to wear tinted glasses.
If they offend Gu Zhinian, they will all be in trouble.
"Old Gu Zhi is so handsome, rich, and considerate. What kind of idiots are the ones I've met?"
"That boy is so young, is he an adult?"
"He's an adult now. I just heard it was to celebrate his admission to university."

When he got a positive answer, Wan put down his fork and secretly watched Gu Zhinian eat. His every move was indescribably pleasing to the eye, so perfect that he didn't seem like a real person. Then he met Gu Zhinian's eyes.
Gu Zhinian's eyes were full of smiles. Shi Wan suddenly lowered her head to drink juice, and only her ears, which were red as if they could bleed, could be seen. The smile in Gu Zhinian's eyes became more obvious, and the tenderness in her eyes was about to overflow.
"Cough, cough, cough..." Shi Wan was choked by Gu Zhinian's burning gaze and coughed a few times.
"Are you feeling better?" Gu Zhinian asked worriedly as he sat next to Shi Wan.
"It's okay." Shi Wan shook his head and put some distance between him and Gu Zhinian. Gu Zhinian pursed his lips and his body stiffened for a moment, but he quickly returned to normal. He sat up calmly, took his own plate and never went back.
Shi Wan looked at Gu Zhinian's wide eyes, blinked them, opened his mouth but didn't know what to say, put his legs together, put his hands on his thighs, raised his head and chest, and looked straight ahead. Gu Zhinian almost couldn't help laughing out loud. How could this child be so cute?
