Chapter 203 Medicinal Seeds

Su Ruoli didn't continue wandering around the street, but rode her bike home.

When she was almost home, she took out another durian from the space.

Anyway, she has a lot of space, and grandma and grandpa both like to eat.

Fang Yi and Jian Zhongyi were very happy to see Su Ruoli come back. "Nannan, you bought this stinky fruit again," said Fang Yi.

"Grandma, this is called durian. It smells bad, but it tastes delicious." Su Ruoli said.

"Yeah! Where did you buy it from?" Fang Yi asked.

"Grandma, you can't tell me. From now on, I can't tell you where I bought the things I bought." Su Ruoli said.

If she said that, grandma might think that she went to the black market.

"Nannan, did you go to the black market?" Fang Yi asked in a low voice.

As expected, she knew that since there were so many black markets in Beijing, they would not investigate and found a source for her things.

Su Ruoli looked around, pulled Fang Yi into the room, and nodded slightly.

"Oh, kid, how dare you go? You can't go there anymore, okay? We can't lose a piece of meat if we don't eat these things." Fang Yi said fearfully.

"Don't worry, grandma, I know!" Su Ruoli said.

"Don't go next time. Even if you have to go, you must protect yourself, okay?" Jian Zhongyi also reminded.

"Got it! Shall we start eating now?" Su Ruoli asked.

"Greedy cat, eat!"

When Jian Zhongyi heard about eating, he went to the kitchen to get a plate.

The whole family sat together and enjoyed the delicious durian.

Su Ruoli felt warm in her heart when she saw the satisfied expressions of her grandparents.

"But, my dear, it's better for us to avoid going to the black market. It's very dangerous and full of bad people there." Jian Zhongyi said.

"I understand, grandpa." Su Ruoli nodded obediently.

After eating the durian, Su Ruoli helped to clear the table. She was not planning to go back to Li'an Courtyard today.

After eating durian, Fang Yi pulled Su Ruoli to make clothes. She said that the weather was getting warmer day by day, so thin clothes should be prepared early.

Fang Yi not only prepared clothes for herself, she also prepared clothes for everyone in the cowshed. She always remembered the help of those people. If it weren't for their help, how could she prepare clothes for them here?

Just thinking of Liang Shuping made her feel uncomfortable. It was all because of those damn ungrateful people.

The two of them were busy in Su Ruoli's room. Fang Yi was responsible for cutting, and Su Ruoli was responsible for piecing all the cloth together.

The two of them were busy until Jian Zhongyi called them to have dinner, and then they stopped.

After dinner, Su Ruoli chatted with Fang Yi and Jian Zhongyi for a while and then went back to her room to rest.

Lying in bed, she couldn't help but think that although she felt nervous every time she took something out of the space and was afraid that the space would be exposed, when she thought about being able to bring some warmth and happiness to her family, it seemed that everything was worth it.

The next morning, she stretched, got up and washed.

When she walked out of the room, she saw Fang Yi busy making breakfast.

"Good morning, grandma!" Su Ruoli greeted with a smile.

"Good morning, Nannan. Come and have breakfast." Fang Yi responded with a smile.

Su Ruoli sat down and enjoyed a hearty breakfast. She also told Fang Yi and Jian Zhongyi that she was going out to go shopping with Zhang Sitong.

After dinner, Su Ruoli returned to her room, and entered the space in a flash. She picked a ginseng on the mountain in the space, and pulled it out under the control of her mind. The root was not damaged at all, and the ginseng was intact.

Su Ruoli got some dirt off the ginseng and took it in her hand to look at it. She didn't expect that the smallest ginseng she collected at that time looked at least two hundred years old.

This space is so awesome. I praise it every day and I’m not afraid of being proud of it.

Su Ruoli found a piece of cloth and casually wrapped the ginseng in it, put it in a cross-body bag, hung the bag around her neck and left the space.

Because I am going to Baicaozhen today, and we agreed yesterday to deliver the ginseng today and pick up the medicinal seeds at the same time. I don’t know if the shopkeeper Su has got the medicinal seeds.

Su Ruoli rode her bicycle to Baicaozhen, and the same medicine boy from yesterday greeted her warmly.

"Is Shopkeeper Su here?" Su Ruoli asked.

"Comrade, you came at an untimely time. Our boss just went out. But before he left, he told us that if you come, just wait for him in the inner room for a while. He will be back soon." The waiter said as he led Su Ruoli inside.

"Okay, then you go and do your work. I'll sit here for a while." Su Ruoli said when they arrived at the inner room, where they had talked yesterday.

The medicine boy turned and walked out. After a while, he came back with a glass of water in his hand. "Sit down and drink some water. I'm going to get busy."

Su Ruoli thanked him and watched the medicine boy leave. She sat quietly on the stool.

Just when Su Ruoli was about to finish her glass of water, Shopkeeper Su finally came back, followed by the young scholar.

Shopkeeper Su saw Su Ruoli and greeted her with a smile.

"These are medicinal herb seeds, but there are not many of them." Shopkeeper Su handed Su Ruoli a small bag.

Su Ruoli opened the bag and carefully examined the seeds inside, a satisfied smile on her face. "Thank you, Shopkeeper Su. I am very satisfied with these seeds."

"As long as you are satisfied." Shopkeeper Su said. There are really few medicinal herb seeds nowadays. This is all he could find, and this is what he had in stock before.

"What about ginseng?" The young scholar couldn't help himself any longer. Seeing Su Ruoli's gaze shift from the seeds, he immediately asked.

Su Ruoli took out a cloth roll from her messenger bag and placed it on the table, "Here."

The young scholar stared at the roll of cloth with burning eyes, pushed Shopkeeper Su and signaled him to open it.

Shopkeeper Su was not vague either. He rubbed his hands and carefully opened the cloth roll. Inside the cloth roll lay a white and plump ginseng, which was obviously wild ginseng.

Shopkeeper Su's hands were shaking with excitement. This ginseng looked to be two hundred years old. It had been a long time since he had seen ginseng of such complete quality.

"Don't stare at me. How about my ginseng?" Su Ruoli asked. In fact, seeing the excited look on Shopkeeper Su's face, Su Ruoli knew that her ginseng was definitely the best. But she still asked the question, which was also a test.

"Good, no! It's simply too good!" Shopkeeper Su said, looking at Su Ruoli, "Comrade, where did you get it?"

Su Ruoli didn't say anything, but just frowned and stared at Shopkeeper Su.

Shopkeeper Su also reacted, clenched his fist and put it to his mouth, coughing, "I'm just too excited, please forgive me!"

Su Ruoli finally relaxed her brows and said calmly, "Then, shopkeeper, please see how much my ginseng is worth?"

The young scholar also stared at Shopkeeper Su intently, his eyes seemed to say, "Can you be more efficient? Why are you dilly-dallying?"
