Chapter 50: Accidentally Found the Black Market

After dinner, the rest of the process was the same as when Su Ruoli and the others came.

After returning home, Su Ruoli lay on the bed in the space, thinking about what happened that day. She was so tired! Although she was a little tired, she was really happy. She finally had family.

The next day, Su Ruoli finished her work in the morning just like she did in the past.

Just before she started working, she met an old lady who introduced her to a boyfriend. Su Ruoli was helpless and amused. In the end, she refused in various ways and made demands again and again before the old lady left.

After lunch, Su Ruoli went to the city with a basket on her back. She wanted to buy some things and see if she could find a black market to process the vegetables in the space.

I originally wanted to bring Zhang Sitong with me, but the child still had stomach discomfort, so we didn’t go.

However, before leaving, Su Ruoli still made a bowl of brown sugar water for Zhang Sitong, of course the water was spiritual spring water.

Because it was not morning and her luck was probably not very good, she did not encounter any ox carts along the way and had to walk.

It was already past two in the afternoon when she arrived at the county town, and she was not in a hurry to go to the supply and marketing cooperative to buy things.

Instead, she started strolling around the county town. She had never been to the county town in all the time she had been here. She thought that maybe she could find the black market by strolling around.

She has a lot of vegetables, so it's more convenient to have someone take them all at once. It doesn't matter if she can't sell them this time, they won't go bad if she keeps them in the space anyway.

After turning around in the county town, she found someone sneaking towards a remote place.

Driven by curiosity, she followed quietly, and when no one was paying attention, she took out a headscarf from the space and wrapped herself tightly.

The weather was so hot that she almost died. She followed the man stealthily all the way. The more she followed, the more she felt that he was going to do something bad.

I followed the man and turned a few alleys. Then I saw him walk to the entrance of an alley where two young men were standing. He took out money from his pocket, handed it to the two men, and then went in.

Su Ruoli then realized that this must be the black market. She withdrew and found a place where no one was around, then slipped into the space, quickly put on some makeup, and put on a wig.

This wig was collected by her when she was on a mission in her previous life. She has all kinds of wigs.

After putting on makeup and looking in the mirror, she looked like a skinny little boy. Even someone who knew her well probably wouldn't recognize her.

After leaving the space, she carried the basket on her back and followed the man's example, going to the place where the two men were guarding.

Then I heard one of them say, "Selling things for five cents."

Su Ruoli took out five cents and handed it over. She lowered her voice and said in a deep voice, "Two brothers, I have a batch of vegetables here. I wonder if you would like to take them."

"Vegetables? What kind? There are plenty of vegetables in the countryside now. If they are not good, we don't want them."

Su Ruoli took down the backpack, uncovered the cloth, took out two cucumbers and handed them over, "Two big brothers, try them, all the vegetables are of this variety."

The two looked at the cucumber that Su Ruoli handed over. The cucumber was emerald green in color, and they could smell its unique fragrance from such a distance.

After taking it, one of them took a bite and his eyes lit up instantly. The cucumber had firm texture and refreshing taste, and was crisp, tender and juicy. The two of them finished the whole cucumber in three bites, two small ones.

After eating, both of them felt refreshed.

Su Ruoli saw how the two men ate and knew something was going to happen. She went over and asked, "Brothers, how does it taste?"

"Well, it's okay. How much do you have? If it's less, we can decide."

"Counting other vegetables, there are about 2,000 kilograms."

Then the taller man said, "Taozi, you stay here and I'll take her to find the boss." Then he said to Su Ruoli, "Come with me."

Then he took Su Ruoli into the alley, turned a few ways, and then said, "Wait for me to go and inform them."

Then Su Ruoli heard regular knocks on the door and thought to herself that these people were really cautious.

"Come in!" A voice that sounded a little old came from the door.

The young man pushed the door open and went in. He came out after a while and said to Su Ruoli, "Our boss invites you in."

Su Ruoli walked into the room calmly and saw a young-looking man sitting on the armchair facing the door, no more than thirty years old.

"Young man, do you have vegetables to sell?" Lin Chen looked at Su Ruoli.

Su Ruoli was also looking at the person opposite her. This person looked so young, but his voice sounded very old.

"Yes, about two thousand pounds. I don't know if you can eat it."

"Haha, that depends on the variety of your vegetables."

Su Ruoli took the backpack off and put it on the ground, then pushed it towards the man. "They are all of the same variety. You can try some."

Lin Chen picked up a tomato, smelled it, and found it tasted very fresh. He took a bite and was stunned. How could this be different from the tomatoes he usually ate? Lin Chen finished the tomato in just a few bites.

The tomato is juicy, crispy and delicious, with a unique sweet and sour taste and a subtle fruity aroma that leaves a lasting impression. When you take your first bite, the rich juice instantly fills your mouth, bringing a refreshing feeling.

Lin Chen waved his hand and said, "I'll take your vegetables. Do you have all the vegetables in the basket? Are they all of the same variety?"

"We have both! The weights are about the same. All varieties are like this."

"Okay, let's talk about the price first. Vegetables are probably 7 cents on the market right now, and 15 cents on the black market. Yours is a good variety, so I'll give you 30 cents per pound, regardless of the type. What do you think?"
