Chapter 108 Outdoor Activities

The third day of the second month, 6:15 AM.

"Achen, have a good sleep. I have to go." Hua Qingcheng hugged the man beside her, then got up from the bed and put on her clothes.

"Okay, Xiao Xiaochen and I will wait for you to come back." Han Yichen was satisfied, with his lips slightly curled up, looking at Hua Qingcheng lovingly.

Hua Qingcheng tucked the quilt in for Han Yichen on the bed, gently kissed him on the forehead, then turned and left Bingquanxuan.

Hua Qingcheng, who had been intimate with Han Yichen for more than an hour, only had time to wash up and had no time to have breakfast. She rode her Xiangyun horse directly to the Imperial College.

Xiangyun Horse was worthy of being called a Pegasus. In less than a quarter of an hour, it brought Hua Qingcheng to the gate of the Imperial College.

After handing the horse to the gatekeeper of the Imperial College, Hua Qingcheng went straight to the Class D classroom in Mingde Building. However, she was told by her classmates that they would go to outdoor activities today and would not be in the classroom.

“Dangdangdang~”

At noon, the bell for the first class in the morning rang on time, and Bai Yuheng, dressed in white, walked into the classroom.

"Hello, teacher!" The students in Class D stood up from their seats and shouted in unison.

"Yeah." Bai Yuheng glanced around the entire Class D classroom, his gaze lingered briefly on Hua Qingcheng, who was sitting at the end of the fifth group, but he quickly looked away.

"Reading ten thousand books is not as good as traveling ten thousand miles. 'Turn a deaf ear to the world outside and focus solely on the sages' isn't necessarily a good idea. You still need to exercise your muscles and brains occasionally. This morning, I will take you to the back hills of the Imperial College to collect folk songs. In the afternoon, your archery teacher will take you on a hunting competition."

As Bai Yuheng finished speaking, the entire Class D classroom erupted in cheers.

"Quiet! Quiet!" Bai Yuheng raised his hand to stop the group of naughty monkeys whose noises were about to blow the roof off.

In the entire Imperial College, the students in Class D have the worst academic performance and reputation. This group of playboys will rebel if they are not watched for a while.

After the classroom quieted down, Bai Yuheng said, "Bring your painting tools, we're off."

After saying this, he turned and walked out of the classroom. The students in Class D quickly packed their things and followed him out.

Everyone followed Bai Yuheng to the back hills of the Imperial College, where the scenery was picturesque. Bai Yuheng allowed the students to disperse freely and find their favorite scenery to paint.

Hua Qingcheng chose a spot beside a stream, where clear water gurgled and flowers of various colors bloomed. She took out her paintbrush and paper and began to carefully depict the beautiful scene before her.

The other students each found their favorite spots, some painting landscapes, some flowers and plants, and some animals. For a moment, the entire back mountain was filled with laughter and joy.

Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye it was already noon. Bai Yuheng checked the students' work and gave affirmation and encouragement to everyone's performance.

Afterwards, he led the students back to the Imperial College, ending this pleasant field trip.

When the students went to have lunch, Bai Yuheng also returned to Anxiang Pavilion. When he was about to take a bath, there was suddenly a "whoosh" sound, and then a dart shot in from the window.

Bai Yuheng dodged the dart with a nimble side move. With a clang, the dart hit the shelf beside him.

Bai Yuheng raised her bare hand, pulled out the dart, and looked out the window thoughtfully. This dart clearly belonged to Leng Qingqiu, the cavalry general of Lengyue Kingdom.

Bai Yuheng's eyes turned cold, he put the dart into his sleeve, stood up and walked out the door.

A moment later, Bai Yuheng arrived at the woods behind the Imperial College, and sure enough, there was a black figure waiting for him in front.

"Your humble servant greets the Sixth Prince!"

Hearing the footsteps, Leng Qingqiu slowly turned around and removed the veil from her face, revealing a heroic face. She politely bowed to Bai Yuheng, but her seemingly pious gesture and words didn't actually convey much respect.

Bai Yuheng glanced at Leng Qingqiu leisurely and said coldly, "I wonder why General Leng brought me here?"

"Sixth Prince, let's be frank. You and I are both spies of the Lengyue Nation. We share the same goal and should be helping each other. Why would you stab me in the back like this?"

Leng Qingqiu looked straight at Bai Yuheng, seeing that this little boy from the past had grown to be so tall and handsome. A flash of surprise flashed in her eyes, but she quickly suppressed it.

"Heh..." Bai Yuheng sneered, "It's not even dark yet, and General Leng is already delirious? I don't know what you mean by that. Although you and I are indeed from Lengyue Country, we don't interfere with each other. If there is nothing important, it's best not to meet."

After saying this, Bai Yuheng was about to turn around and leave, but Leng Qingqiu behind him called him.

"Sixth Prince, do you dare to say that the masked man in black at the Imperial College training ground yesterday was not you?" Leng Qingqiu said as he slapped Bai Yuheng.

Bai Yuheng swiftly moved sideways, avoiding the fierce palm wind. His bright black eyes were tinged with anger. "General Leng, what do you mean by this?"

Leng Qingqiu narrowed his eyes dangerously and said coldly, "Humph, whether it's true or not, we'll know after a try. Yesterday afternoon, the man in black was hit in the back by a dart thrown by this general. Sixth Prince, do you dare to take off your clothes and let this humble official examine you?"

"General Leng, do you understand what you're talking about?" Bai Yuheng said with disdain, as if he had heard something amusing. "Even though I'm the Sixth Prince, as a subject, you're actually making such a request. Don't you think it's presumptuous? Also, there's a difference between you and me. How could I allow a woman other than my future wife to see my body?"
