Chapter 13 Salted Fish Time

Jiang Yunting watched Hua Qingcheng's every move. Seeing a bright smile gradually bloom on this woman's face, he suddenly felt warm in his heart.

After playing a few racing games, they came to the shooting game area. Jiang Yunting patiently explained the rules of the game to Hua Qingcheng. His big hands covered Hua Qingcheng's hands, gripping the handle tightly, and led her to enjoy the fun of shooting.

Next, they went to the dance machine. Jiang Yunting gently took Hua Qingcheng's hand and led her to the center of the stage. He patiently explained the rules of the dance machine to Hua Qingcheng and taught her some basic moves and steps. Hua Qingcheng looked at Jiang Yunting excitedly and nodded gently, indicating that she was willing to give it a try.

Jiang Yunting smiled and encouraged her: "It's okay, just relax and follow the rhythm of the music."

The music began, and Jiang Yunting took Hua Qingcheng's hand, leading her in a graceful dance. Despite wearing heavy military boots, Jiang Yunting's movements remained graceful and agile. Hua Qingcheng cautiously followed Jiang Yunting's steps, trying to imitate his movements. However, her unfamiliarity with this dance style made her steps a little clumsy.

Jiang Yunting didn't get angry or impatient because of Hua Qingcheng's mistakes. Instead, he always responded to her with a smile and encouraging eyes. Whenever Hua Qingcheng missed the beat or accidentally stepped on his foot, he would gently comfort her, "Don't worry, take your time."

During the basketball shooting game, Hua Qingcheng stood in front of the basketball machine curiously, observing this novel gadget carefully. Then, she picked up a basketball and prepared to throw it into the basket.

Jiang Yunting couldn't help laughing as he watched Hua Qingcheng's awkward shooting form. He walked behind her, gently patted her shoulder, and said, "Come, let me teach you how to shoot."

Hua Qingcheng turned her head and looked at Jiang Yunting, her eyes gleaming with excitement. Jiang Yunting held her hand, adjusted her shooting posture, and then instructed her on how to exert force. Hua Qingcheng listened carefully to Jiang Yunting's explanation and gradually mastered the key points of shooting.

Hua Qingcheng threw the basketball hard, and it arced in the air and landed accurately in the basket. She cheered in surprise and turned to hug Jiang Yunting. Jiang Yunting was also happy for Hua Qingcheng. He gently stroked the woman's hair and said with a smile, "Well done! Keep it up."

Over the next few rounds, Hua Qingcheng became increasingly skilled, her accuracy increasing. With each successful shot, she jumped for joy, while Jiang Yunting cheered and applauded. Their joyful laughter echoed throughout the shooting area.

Finally, the two came to the claw machine. Jiang Yunting pointed at the cute dolls in the glass box and asked Hua Qingcheng, "Which one do you like?"

Hua Qingcheng's eyes lit up and she said excitedly, "I like them all!"

Jiang Yunting smiled, put in a coin, and began to operate the machine to pick up the doll inside. However, after trying several times, he failed.

Hua Qingcheng sighed in disappointment. Jiang Yunting comforted her, "Don't be discouraged, let's try again."

Jiang Yunting inserted the coin again, this time operating the machine with even greater concentration. Finally, the claws caught a pink teddy bear and slowly rose to the exit. Hua Qingcheng excitedly shouted, "I got it! I got it!"

Jiang Yunting smiled and handed the teddy bear to Hua Qingcheng, saying, "This is for you."

Hua Qingcheng took the little bear, hugged it tightly in her arms, and said happily: "Thank you!"

Jiang Yunting touched Hua Qingcheng's head lovingly and said, "You're welcome. As long as you like it."

In the game hall, Hua Qingcheng and Jiang Yunting spent a pleasant afternoon together, and their interaction was full of warmth and fun.

Seeing that Hua Qingcheng wanted to continue shopping, Jiang Yunting originally planned to take the things in his hands to the customer service center to deposit them, and then take her to the amusement area to play, but Hua Qingcheng was worried that her gold jewelry would be lost, so she insisted on carrying them herself.

Seeing this, Jiang Yunting had no choice but to let her go. So, after leaving the shopping mall and arriving at the square, the two of them played bumper cars, trampolines, rock climbing, roller coasters, pirate ships, etc., and every time Jiang Yunting was very considerate and held things so that Hua Qingcheng could have fun.

Time quickly passed and the sun was setting. Jiang Yunting brought Hua Qingcheng to a high-end Western restaurant, where they enjoyed a delicious candlelight dinner together.

When seeing Jiang Yunting's elegant dining manners, Hua Qingcheng couldn't help but recall how she wolfed down her food at the steak buffet at noon. She couldn't help but feel a little shy, and she also truly felt the gap between herself and the man in front of her.

This sense of disparity made Hua Qingcheng feel a little lost. After all, they came from different worlds, with completely different backgrounds and habits. She couldn't help but think that if she had been born into a wealthy family, she might have been able to better integrate into his life and not feel as inferior as she did now.

Seeing the woman sitting across from him, she had an indescribable expression on her face, like a palette of colors, ever-changing and changing. First, she frowned slightly, then her lips curled up, then her brows furrowed again, and finally, the weather turned from sunny to cloudy, even a little gloomy. Jiang Yunting couldn't help but ask in confusion, "What's wrong? Why are you suddenly unhappy?"

When Hua Qingcheng heard this, she stared straight at Jiang Yunting, a complex emotion flickering in her eyes. Her voice was low and long, as if carrying an inexplicable sadness and helplessness.

"Brother Jiang, don't you despise me for not knowing how to do anything? Look, I can't cook, I can't wash clothes, I can't clean, and I can't make money. I'm just a useless person."

Jiang Yunting was stunned at first when he heard Hua Qingcheng's words. Thinking about how this woman used to know everything but now knows nothing, he couldn't help but feel distressed. However, Jiang Yunting quickly suppressed his inner sadness and revealed a gentle smile.

He raised his hand and gently tapped Hua Qingcheng's forehead, his tone filled with doting and comfort. "Silly girl, you don't need to know these things. You just need to stay healthy and happy and enjoy life to the fullest. Besides, didn't you say you wanted to be with a rich young man? Don't worry, I will work hard and make a lot of money to fulfill your wish."

However, Hua Qingcheng did not know at this time that the man sitting opposite her was actually the prince of the Yida Group, which possessed huge wealth.

The Jiang family's industries cover many fields including oil, construction, real estate, finance, medical care, electronics, education, tourism, radio, film and television, supermarkets, catering, and ecological agriculture. They are truly wealthy and aristocratic families.

If Hua Qingcheng knew all this, she might be surprised and excited, but at this moment, she just stared at Jiang Yunting silently, with an indescribable feeling of emotion and warmth in her heart.
