Hua Qingcheng stayed in the space villa for a long time, but when she reappeared and returned to the private room of the restaurant, only a quarter of an hour had passed in the outside world.
However, the person who walked out of the space with Hua Qingcheng was not Wu Chen, but Mu Lige.
Just as Han Yichen had said before, after some makeup, Mu Lige's appearance was very similar to Wu Chen. Furthermore, to more realistically imitate Wu Chen, Mu Lige even wore a scarf to cover her soft, shiny black hair.
From now on, Mu Lige will return to Zhaoyang Kingdom as the Third Prince of Zhaoyang—Su Mulichen. This is for two reasons: first, it will spare the pregnant Wuchen the hardships of a long journey; second, Mu Lige has already recovered from his confinement. His exceptional martial arts skills will undoubtedly make him a formidable force.
"Awoo~Awoo~" (Daddy looks good in any costume or clothes!) Xiaobai couldn't help but exclaimed.
"Aoao~Aoao~" (I think so too.) Hongfu also echoed.
Hua Qingcheng glanced at Mu Lige's belly, which was stuffed with a pillow, raised the corners of her lips slightly, and said jokingly, "Please come in, Su Mu Cejun!"
"Yes, Your Highness!" Mu Lige and Hua Qingcheng smiled at each other tacitly, and their eyes were filled with endless tenderness.
After Hua Qingcheng, Mu Lige, and Erhu left the private room, Shan Zuo, Xia He, and Qiu Shang followed closely behind. Then, escorted by a group of royal guards, they embarked on their journey to Zhaoyang State again.
After a whole afternoon of bumpy carriage ride, night gradually fell. At 12:00 PM that evening, Hua Qingcheng and her group finally arrived at the border between Yongning and Daxing Provinces. During this time, Mu Lige, still in the carriage, returned to the interstellar villa twice to nurse her child.
"Your Highness, it is getting late as the night deepens. I think we might as well stop here for one night and continue our journey tomorrow morning after it is bright. What do you think, Your Highness?" The captain of the guards respectfully saluted Hua Qingcheng with his fists.
Hua Qingcheng was reclining in the carriage, resting her eyes. Upon hearing the captain's words, she slowly opened them, then raised her hand and gently lifted a corner of the curtain. Seeing the inky black sky outside, she nodded. "Thank you, Captain Qiu. We'll do as you say. Please arrange the relevant matters as soon as possible."
"Yes, Your Highness." Captain Qiu quickly arranged for everyone to stay in an inn after receiving the order.
Hua Qingcheng asked Dan Zuo to have the waiter prepare a large table of dishes and send them to the room. Then she and Mu Lige went back to the space villa and had dinner with Situ Ye, Han Yichen, Yu Xiaotian, Si Chengfeng, Wu Chen and Zuo An.
After dinner, they drank tea, chatted, and relaxed for a while with everyone. After taking a bath, Hua Qingcheng, Mu Lige, Long Long, and Feng Feng moved into the master bedroom.
Situ Ye and the others slept in the guest room or the study. It was summer, and Zuo An even laid out a mattress on the floor in the living room. Even so, Zuo An still found it incredibly comfortable; even the emperor's quarters couldn't compare to this. After all, where else could you find air conditioning except here?
After resting for a few hours, Hua Qingcheng and Mu Lige thought it was about time, so they left the space villa.
In the early morning of April 26th, Hua Qingcheng, who didn't want Mu Lige to work hard cooking, once again ordered someone to send a large table of food to the room, and packed it one by one to send to Situ Ye and others in the space villa.
"Oh my God! Boss, those two nobles in Room No. 3 are such big eaters! They ordered meals for ten people last night and the same this morning." After the waiter delivered the meal, he returned to the first floor and whispered to the boss.
The shopkeeper's shrewd eyes darted around, and he slapped the waiter on the head in annoyance, scolding him, "You idiot! Those people are dignitaries from the capital, why do you care how much they order? Anyway, the money they've paid in advance is enough for a month's room and food. Of course, the more they eat, the better, so they can pay less back later."
"Oh..." The waiter suddenly realized and scratched his head embarrassedly.
At four o'clock in the morning, the sun gradually rose higher, its rays casting a shadow over the earth, illuminating the road ahead. Hua Qingcheng and Mu Lige once again boarded the spacious and magnificent carriage. In front of them were four guards on tall horses, leading the way. At their sides were Shan Zuo, Xiangyun Ma, and the two tigers, Xiaobai and Hongfu. Behind them followed a large team, marching majestically towards the Kingdom of Zhaoyang.
In the carriage, Mu Lige gently drew aside the curtains and gazed into the distance. His gaze passed over mountains and rivers, settling on a distant place. He whispered to Hua Qingcheng beside him, "Qingqing, Daxing Province is just ahead. After passing Daxing Province, we'll enter the territory of Zhaoyang Kingdom..."
Mu Lige's voice was as gentle as a spring breeze, warm and soft. Yet, Hua Qingcheng could sense a subtle hint of anticipation in his words. She knew that for Mu Lige, this wasn't just a simple trip; it was a journey back home.
Seven years have passed, and now Mu Lige is finally about to set foot back on the land where he once lived for over a decade. There are his memories, his old friends, and the hatred hidden deep in his heart. Every step forward brings him closer to the enemy who has etched his deepest memory.
Hua Qingcheng held Mu Lige's hand tightly, the warmth of her palm conveying her endless love to this man. Hua Qingcheng said nothing, because she knew that at this moment, any words would be pale and powerless. She simply used her actions to tell Mu Lige that no matter how many difficulties and obstacles the road ahead would bring, she would always be by his side and face everything with him.
