Chapter 33 An Accidental Success

On the morning of July 26, in the laboratory of the Chengbei Military Region in Beijing.

Jiang Yunting was wearing a white lab coat, with a serious look on his handsome face. He was concentrating on discussing the research and development details of the new missile defense system with the scientific researchers around him.

His eyes sparkled with passion and persistence for science, as if he had devoted all his energy to this great cause.

At this moment, a crisp cell phone ring broke the quiet atmosphere in the laboratory.

Jiang Yunting frowned slightly, looking at the three words "Butler Liu" flashing on the screen, and a sense of foreboding surged in his heart. He knew that if it was not important, Butler Liu would definitely not easily interrupt his work.

So, Jiang Yunting quickly put down the documents in his hand, signaled to his comrades to wait for a moment, and then quickly walked out of the laboratory and found a quiet corner to answer the phone.

"Hello?" Jiang Yunting's voice was deep and powerful, revealing a sense of majesty.

The voice of Butler Liu came slowly from the other end of the phone: "Master, the chairman and his wife are here."

As the steward of the Jiang family, Liu Qin has been loyal to Jiang Shang and Lin Wanru for many years, but he dare not neglect the eldest master Jiang Yunting in the slightest.

After all, it was he who tipped off Jiang Shang and Lin Wanru two days ago, telling them that Jiang Yunting had brought back a girl, which was why the two of them had come back so specially. If Hua Qingcheng was being harassed, Liu Qin was worried that he would be unable to bear the responsibility.

Therefore, after thinking it over again and again, Liu Qin still called Jiang Yunting.

Jiang Yunting felt a little worried when he thought about Hua Qingcheng, who had lost her intelligence and sometimes acted like a child, and now had to face the questioning of her future in-laws. So he hurriedly said goodbye to the researchers, took off his lab coat, and hurriedly left the military laboratory.

"Did my parents give her any trouble?" Jiang Yunting talked to Butler Liu as he walked, asking about Hua Qingcheng's situation.

Jiang Yunting felt a little relieved after hearing Butler Liu say that Hua Qingcheng had not been subjected to any difficulties. Then, he quickly jumped into his Mercedes-Benz Unimog SUV and drove out of the army.

On the way, Jiang Yunting's thoughts drifted to Lin Wanru's attempt to bring him and the eldest daughter of the Feng family together. Thinking of this, he became extremely irritated, and unconsciously stepped on the accelerator even deeper, speeding up a bit.

An hour later, Jiang Yunting parked the car steadily in front of the Jiang family villa halfway up Qingyun Mountain.

After getting out of the car, Jiang Yunting's eyes fell on the black Rolls-Royce Phantom in the yard, and his face darkened slightly. Then, he quickened his pace, walked into the yard, and ran towards the living room on the first floor of the villa.

However, to his surprise, the chaotic scene he had imagined did not occur. The entire living room was empty and extremely quiet, as if you could hear a pin drop.

Jiang Yunting's eyebrows knitted slightly, a hint of confusion flashing in his eyes. He turned to look at the housekeeper Liu Qin who had hurried over and asked, "Where is Miss Hua? Shouldn't she be here? Why is she nowhere to be seen?"

Facing Jiang Yunting's questioning, Liu Qin seemed a little nervous, but still answered truthfully: "In reply to the young master, Miss Hua and the chairman and his wife are in the study on the second floor! They seem to be discussing something important."

"Study?" Jiang Yunting's doubts intensified upon hearing this. He then, without further hesitation, strode upstairs.

Jiang Yunting took steady steps, each one proving exceptionally powerful. His military boots made a crisp, rhythmic "thump, thump" sound as they tapped the solid wood flooring on the second floor. He exuded an iron-blooded, majestic aura.

When Jiang Yunting gently pushed open the door of the study, the scene in front of him stunned him.

Hua Qingcheng, Jiang Shang, and Lin Wanru sat together, before a landscape painting by a contemporary master. They were engaged in a lively discussion of its details, the atmosphere harmonious and intimate. Hua Qingcheng gazed intently at the painting, her beautiful face and sweet smile complementing the graceful beauty of the painting, creating a breathtaking scene.

Jiang Yunting couldn't help but feel a little puzzled. He had never thought that Hua Qingcheng had such a strong interest and in-depth understanding of landscape painting.

Jiang Shang and Lin Wanru were also immersed in the discussion, their expressions filled with love for art and admiration for Hua Qingcheng's insights. Hua Qingcheng would sometimes smile and nod, and sometimes express her own unique opinions. Her words were sharp and precise, making Lin Wanru, a lover of traditional paintings, feel that she had met her too late.

The study was filled with a strong artistic atmosphere. Jiang Yunting stood quietly by, and couldn't help but be deeply attracted by this warm and harmonious scene.

He began to think that perhaps his understanding of Hua Qingcheng was far from enough, and this woman's inner world was so rich and colorful. This discovery made Jiang Yunting more curious and interested in Hua Qingcheng, and also added a new expectation to their relationship.

"Brother Jiang, you're back?" Hua Qingcheng's eyes lit up when she noticed Jiang Yunting's arrival.

Originally, Jiang Yunting was a little worried that Hua Qingcheng would be at a loss because she was not used to such situations, but when he saw Hua Qingcheng communicating with her parents so naturally, his worries gradually subsided.

Hua Qingcheng had been dragged here by Jiang Yunting's mother to discuss landscape painting for half an hour. Her beautiful eyes were extremely bright, and every word she said hit the nail on the head, making people sigh at her deep understanding of landscape painting.

At this moment, Hua Qingcheng was extremely grateful. Although she had not been fond of studying in the past, she could recite the knowledge that Hua Rongsheng often whispered in her ear. Now, she could just pick out a few words, and Lin Wanru would hear them as if they were enlightened.
