Chu Jingxiong raised his eyebrows upon hearing this, a hint of surprise on his face: "Oh? Are you talking about Feng Qiaochu who has been missing for many years? I didn't expect that she is still alive..."
Feng Jiayu nodded and said solemnly, "That's right, uncle. Her name is Hua Qingcheng now. And as far as I know, she has become grandma's senior caregiver."
"The most troublesome thing now is that Grandma already has a very good impression of Hua Qingcheng. If we allow them to spend every day together in the military hospital, their feelings will grow deeper and deeper, and the consequences will be unimaginable. We must find a way to deal with this as soon as possible!"
Hearing Feng Jiayu's words, Chu Jingxiong frowned, pondered for a moment, and then said, "Well, this matter does need to be carefully planned. But before that, we must first find out whether Hua Qingcheng knows about my life experience, or how much she knows..."
Feng Jiayu sighed and said helplessly, "I don't know about this, uncle. But I don't think there are such coincidences in the world. She first appeared at grandma's 'funeral'. Maybe she really has something in her hand that is unfavorable to us, and she came back to fight for the family property..."
Chu Jingxiong patted Feng Jiayu's shoulder and comforted her, "Don't worry, Jiayu. I will stand by you and support you no matter what. After all, I have always regarded you as my own niece and granddaughter over the years. As long as we work together, we will be able to overcome this difficult time."
Feng Jiayu looked at Chu Jingxiong gratefully and nodded, "Thank you, uncle. I believe you will help me. So what should we do next?"
Chu Jingxiong turned his head to look in the direction of the Chengbei Military District Hospital, a sinister flicker in his deep eyes. But he pursed his lips and said slowly, "Then she will never see anyone from the Feng family again..."
Feng Jiayu listened to Chu Jingxiong's advice and gradually came up with an idea. She gritted her teeth and said firmly, "Okay, uncle. I understand. I will follow your instructions."
Over the next two days, Feng Jiayu spared no expense to hire a group of underworld thugs. They were assigned to wait outside the gate of the military hospital, eagerly awaiting the moment Hua Qingcheng went out alone. Once they spotted their target, the thugs would quickly follow her and kidnap her to a pre-arranged location.
However, what Feng Jiayu didn't expect was that Hua Qingcheng always went in and out of the military hospital with Jiang Yunting, and the two were inseparable. Every time they went out, they would take a luxurious Mercedes-Benz Unimog off-road vehicle, which was particularly eye-catching.
This made it impossible for the gang to follow the vehicle, let alone intercept it. After all, the van they were driving was vulnerable to the massive and sturdy SUV. Even if they managed to keep up, they would be unable to withstand the impact of the SUV and could be smashed to pieces at any time.
As time went by, the old lady's condition gradually improved and her memory began to recover. This made Feng Jiayu very anxious, as she knew that her time was running out.
Just when she was in trouble, a great opportunity finally came on August 10 (the 28th day of the sixth lunar month).
On the morning of August 10, Jiang Yunting, who was supposed to rest, decided to take Hua Qingcheng to Yida Plaza in the city center for a visit.
They were strolling along the bustling commercial street, enjoying a rare moment of leisure. However, at that moment, Jiang Yunting suddenly received an urgent call. The caller was a researcher from the military laboratory, who anxiously informed Jiang Yunting that a serious accident had occurred in the laboratory and that he needed to return to the army immediately to handle it.
In desperation, Jiang Yunting could only let Hua Qingcheng walk around the mall by herself and promised to come back to pick her up soon.
"Don't worry, Brother Jiang, I'm here and won't run around." Hua Qingcheng smiled and waved at Jiang Yunting, signaling him to leave without worry.
Jiang Yunting hugged Hua Qingcheng tightly, kissed her gently on the forehead, and then said softly, "Okay, then you just play here and eat whatever you want. You can buy whatever you want. I'll be back soon. Call me immediately if you have any questions."
After Jiang Yunting left, Hua Qingcheng went to the restroom on the first floor of the mall.
However, when Hua Qingcheng came out of the bathroom, she was suddenly covered over her mouth by a tall, burly man wearing a baseball cap and a mask. A pungent smell hit her in the face, and her consciousness gradually blurred.
"Um..." Hua Qingcheng struggled, but her body was gradually out of control and her vision began to go black.
"Don't make a sound! I'll kill you if you scream again!" the man threatened in a low voice.
Hua Qingcheng's breathing became rapid and her heartbeat accelerated. She knew she was in danger, but she couldn't resist.
After being knocked unconscious, Hua Qingcheng was immediately taken out of the mall.
There were already gangsters waiting outside, and they quickly dragged Hua Qingcheng into a van.
"Go! Don't let anyone find us!" one of them whispered.
The car started and quickly drove away from the scene.
Hua Qingcheng was thrown into the car, her body limp against the seat, her eyes closed, her face pale. She didn't know what fate she was about to face, nor did she know if she would ever see Jiang Yunting again.
There was a tense atmosphere in the van. The man who kidnapped Hua Qingcheng said nothing and focused on driving the van.
Vehicles shuttle through the city streets, and the scenery outside the window keeps changing.
As the car jolted, Hua Qingcheng gradually regained consciousness and discovered with horror that her hands and feet were trapped, and even her mouth was taped shut. Unable to scream, she could only sway her body. Her hair was disheveled and scattered across her face, making her look particularly helpless.
